I gotta ask... Is this a joke? Seriously?! What is this?!?! This music is absolutely terrible! I looked in the top albums in "Metal" not top albums in "Alternative". I personally like alternative rock so even calling this "Alternative" is an insult. I only gave it a second star because I have to give this band credit.... When I need a good laugh, I know right where to find them

but thats a good thing cause it sets them apart from other metal bands out there thanks S.O.A.D. for giving us the wierdest songs of our generation. a must buy album

This band is amazing musically. Toxicity isn't the best album, it is rather monotonous but Science, and Aerials have a great message. Chop Suey! is a beautiful song (despite the lyrics). This band grows on you. I used to hate them but now i love every song.

Best album of 2001, and in my opinion best album of all time, it transcends genres, it's motivational and has a message that is very current today! Rick Rubin did an amazing job, fantastic piece of art...the mixing is superb! It's truly a masterpiece

Crowning work.

In my opinion this album and system of a down are neck and neck in which one is better. Where can I start the vocals are amazing, the drums, guitar riffs and bass is great also. I've been listening to this band since I was 2, I've got every album except for the singles. Loved this band from the start and it won't end. Recommend getting this album, but all of them are great.

I love all their songs and in my opinion this is their best album. I heard chop suey first because of rock band 2. Then my brother in law got me hooked on a lot of their music and now their my favorite band. Also this is the their most heavy metal album. I would have to say that Prison Song is my favorite out all of their songs. I highly recommend this album.

Very good love this song

As the title says, I do believe this is one of the greatest metal albums of all time. This came out in 2005 and it's #5 on the metal album charts. That says a lot about this album!

I like them all except bounce. Ya and i dont know why they took out the first album i actually bought it like 3 years ago off iTunes so maybe theyll put it back, i guess legal issues that they usually work out. And some bands like system of a down are disturbed, avenged sevenfold, five finger death punch, serj tankian, some korn and godsmack too.

prison song: 10/10 great opener and one of the best on the album needles: 9/10 somewhat weird but very catchy deer dance: 8/10 good song not a very standoutish track but good nontheless jet pilot: 7/10 net very memorable or long. somewhat catchy X: 7/10 see above chop suey: 10/10 best song on the album hands down bar none bounce: 8/10 i like this song but its not great and is very bizarre forest: 8/10 good song. though again not a standout track ATWA: 9/10 great execution on a slow (at parts) song. would be 10 if it werent for toxicity science: 8/10 good but sort of bland shimmy: 10/10 my favorite song on the album and hugely underrated. even if short its great toxicity: 10/10 absolute brilliance pyscho: 7/10 not a necissarily bad song but the most forgetable on the album in my opinion aerials: 9/10 great. one of the slower songs but still one of the better arto: 6/10 not a big fan of this song(?)

Two problems: 1. In the original album arto was the end of aerials, 2. BRING THE FIRST ALBUM BACK!!!!!!!!!

Anyone who likes heavy music should at least give it a listen.

I really love this album and remember it from when I was younger but where is the very first album from 1998 called system of a down where iTunes where.

This band and this album were my first favorite band back in the day. They introduced me to rock and metal!!! They will always be my top favorite band along wit sabbath!!! This album is the best!!! Love every song and each song stores a great memory!! They will never get old!!
