I love this soundtrack. I love When Christmas Comes to Town because of the emotional connection you get to the characters that sing it. The Alan Silvestri is definately ranked as high as John Williams and Klaus Badelt in today's composers. I love Alan Menken and Silvestri is definately up there with him. I think that this soundtrack (and movie) embody the holiday spirit. Believe and When Christmas Comes to Town definately rank highly in my Christmas songs.

My favorite of all the songs on this album is the instrumental "Suite from the Polar Express." It is beautiful and takes you right back to the movie! While many of the songs can be purchased individually, the only way to get the "Suite from the Polar Express" is to purchase the entire album. There are two albums of Polar Express. They differ by only 2 songs. I think that this slightly shorter album is every bit as good, and a much better value. I highly recommend this album! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This is the best soundtrack and I love it soooo much. The movie is also really great! You should add this to your Christmas collection! It really gives you a sense of what Christmas is all about and how sometimes you just have to "Believe".

This soundtrack/movie is one of my favorite Christmas ones of all time. It's hard not to sing along while listening or hum parts of it later on in the day. The music is almost gaurenteed to bring the spirit of Christmas alive and keep moods light. Some of the best on here would definitely be 'When Chirstmas Comes to Town' and 'Believe'.

Alan Silvestri ripped off Danny Elfman's "Edward Scissorhands" soundtrack. While this CD is a good one, it must be understood that Danny Elfman deserves credit for it, not Alan Silvestri. I can't believe lawsuits weren't flying over this one.

"The Polar Express" is a wonderful soundtrack, and a lot of fun to listen to around the holidays. I'm eighteen, and ever since I was little, my mom used to read the book to me around Christmastime. The movie is a wonderful, endearing reminder to always believe in the spirit of Christmas, and it always gives me a lump in my throat! It's a shame that some of the songs are "Album Only", but it's good that those are regular Christmas songs that can be bought from any other album. It's the unique songs on here ("When Christmas Comes to Town", "Hot Chocolate"--my favorite!) that really count!
