The truth is that this sounds completely different from the old Good Charlotte we all know. I can tell that and I'm not their biggest fan. But, this album does have some good songs such as Misery, Dance Floor Anthem, and of course The RIVER. Maybe just buy a few songs from this album. Also, does anyone else want the River (acoustic version) off of album only, personally I think it sounds better, click YES if u agree.

this album isnt all that good ,,, im not a good charlotte fan... but the thing that saves the album is the river because it has m shadows and syn gates from avenged sevenfold in it,. and their my all time fav band

I hate bands that die there hair and wear strange clothes and call themselves Punk. If you want real Punk listen to The Ramones, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, Richard Hell, Patti Smith ect. Don't get me wrong I do like Green Day and Blink 182 is ok but this is not good.

what the hell's up with the horns in Broken Hearts Parade?! The only song that's remotely the same as the old GC is The River. But that's probably because of A7X. Don't get me wrong, I still like the album. But it definitely is NOT punk. And another reviewer pegged it right on the head. Blink, Sum 41, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and sadly, GC have kind of sold out. I mean I get the whole "We want to change our sound" thing, because an artist can't be expected to have the EXACT same sound for every album because you need to mix it up to keep people interested. but seriously? What happened to young and the hopeless and chronicles?? I've been a fan of GC sicne 2002(when my dad bought me young and the hopeless when i was 9 years old) but this just isn't the same. These songs don't seem to mean the same things as "young and the hopeless" or "mountain" or "we believe" or "lifestyles of the rich and the famous"... idk, i'll always be a loyal GC fan and i'll always love what they put out, but it's sad to see them losing the punk sound that they were worshipped for.

c'mon, this is their best album to date!!! i mean, i love their older stuff, but this is like, when joel madden got all emo....i freaking love it!!!!

this is my favorite album by good charlotte and I like almost all of the songs on this album. You should definately buy this album. My favorite songs in order: 1.) Victims of Love 2.) I Don't Wanna Be In Love 3.) Where Would We Be Now 4.) Keep Your Hands Off My Girl 5.) Misery 6.) Break Apart Her Heart

With Dance Floor Anthem and The River with M. Shadows & Synyster Gates Easly make this album the best Good Charlette album so far. Good Charlette, Impress me again with your amazing songs.

what happened to the punk good charlotte!!!!! that is the good charlotte that i like. their first 2 albums are just amazing, the 3rd, its okay. now this! this is horrible!! they turned into the people who they were making fun of in lifestyles of the rich and famous! i have been a gc lover since the beginning, and i suppose i will always will be, but i will NEVER like the album. it's a joke! paris hilton? nicole riche? common guys! yeah, you have way more fans, but they are only your fans because of this.... lame album! half of the people at your concerts only like this album, not the first 3! common guys, go back to the old days, being punk rockers, saying "screw it" to the rules. please. you will win me back if you do...

Wow. I grew up listening to The young and the hopeless. It seemed like they were against this kind of trendy stuff back with their debut and young and the hopeless. Their third album was okay, punk-ish, but what is this? I dont get it.

This albums great! The best song on this album is The River even though it's acoustic. The song gets really adictive. The rest of this album describes about what it's like to be in love. Plus it has a really good meledoy throughout the whole album. All I can say is that is that this album really goes with the flow of life and music. All in all great album! T is out of the building people!

Good Charlotte used to be a punk-pop band. Not anymore. Good Charlotte used to write songs that meant something. Not anymore. Good Charlotte used to be a good band. Not anymore. I hate sellouts. The River is the only good track on nhere, and that's mostly because M. Shadows actually sounded very good (way better than he does in Avenged Sevenfold, funnily enough...).

i think good charlotte is so inspiring and great. and this is coming from somebody who personoly knew them, well my dad did and ever since i think they have grown i talent by alot. i very much love there music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so this album has been out for a while now but i was looking up songs and had to write a review. Overall the cd isnt Horrid but its NOTHING like their old music which was the best ever! I think the song that saved this cd was the river partially because a7x helped. I saw a lot of reviews saying its the best cd and stuff like that but this cd is kind of them conforming for everyone else. I was so happy to hear their next cd will be like their first few, now those really were the best!

Yeah, their sound changed. It happens. All bands have to change their sound eventually or they're gonna get old after a while. This album is definitely woth the money and it's great. The only song on here I don't like is Beautiful Place but that's just 'cause it sounds kinda tropical-ish and that's not exactly my thing. If you're not gonna buy the whole album you should at least buy Something Else, The River, and All Black. Those are all my favorites off this album.

I really like Good Charlotte. They are one of my favorite bands, but what has happened to them? They used to actually be punk, but now they are doing some like hardcore pop songs. What the crap is up with this? Don't get me wrong, this album has some really good songs, but the majority of them really aren't that good. And plus, what are they singing about? I personally see what they are singing about as scary. He's company with misery all the time? His life and clothes all black? I don't want to offend anyone, but that scares me. I want the old Good Charlotte back, not this.

Why did Good Charlotte have to go mainstream? I can't describe how sick of Dance Floor Anthem I am. I swear, they just went from Good Charlotte to Crap Charlotte.

Good Charlotte used to rock. They we're like any band, if you listened to songs like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" then you would think that they whould've done this. They seemed down to earth. Yes, they were youth in rebel. But how many bands that get money can state how peoplke like them are so plainly? You wouldnt have thought that they'd go in it for the money. But they seemed to have with this album. I can only hope that they're next album, if they get one, is back to their original sound. Not this mainstream pop. Not saying this album is completely bad... its just not them.

Good Charlotte has become what they made fun of in their previous like "Livestyles of the rich in the famous". They have taken every chance of fame. They used to be my favorite band, but after listening to the album i would never listen to it after. They throw away what made them a good band. Know they arent even worth one second of my life. i will never listen to them again!!!!

All i have to say is: The worst sell-out i have ever seen of any band of any genre of all time! Please come back to your first two albums! Pleeeeeeeeeease!

As big of a fan as I have been of Good Charlotte, they never have been punk. Hate to break it to you kids, so let's end that debate. Even though I am partial to their older albums...this one is not bad. The songs are catchy, upbeat, and all around I enjoy it. Again, it's not not the old stuff, but everyone is allowed to change and I think they did a good job creating this sound. I'm not as big of a fan of these guys as I once was, but I'll always have a spot for them in my iPod.

this is my top 2 band in the past 10 yrs. these guys just make the crap on radio seem even worse. Good charlotte deserves better than what they are getting. these guys are awesome, go good charlotte keep producing music.

Wow. Good Charlotte was my favorite band like 5 years back, and I knew their first album backwards and forwards. So imagine my shock when I decided to check them out again after all these years, and this is what I find. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? They should be ashamed of themselves. seriously. 'the river' the the ONLY redeeming song on the sad excuse for a punk album. I miss the old Good Charlotte, when they weren't such hypocritical sellouts....

This album was great, not their best but it was great. Sure its alot different then all their old stuff(which is way better) but i like their old albums better. The only songs that I like are Misery, The River, I Don't Wanna Be In Love, Keep Your Hands Off My Girl, Victims of Love, and Something Else.
