Rather than take on the role of the heartbreaker or ladies man, Archuleta stays with his down-to-earth roots to create a sweet and easy-to-listen-to single. It's hard not to feel for Archuleta as he cries, "I know this crush ain't goin' away." From the sound of the first single, it looks like there will be plenty of crushes to come once the full album debuts this fall. After just one day of airplay, "Crush" was able to debut at #93 on the Billboard Pop 100 and #57 on Pop 100 Airplay. The song is also currently the most added track at Mainstream CHR radio stations.
