This is Britneys best album to date. It is much more layered and interesting which overall gives it more longevity. It has some amazing dance songs "If U Seek Amy", "Circus", "Womanizer", "Kill the Lights", "Mannequin", etc.. and some really great ballads "Out From Under", "Unusual You", "My Baby". Overall, without a doubt her best work yet. Her last album was a very one-tone, synth heavy, distant album which was fun but lacked true longevity. "Circus" is the one which will last. Buy it! Its really great!

This album has got to be Britney's best ever. I love "Womanizer" (and its music vid!!!), "Circus", "Kill The Lights", "Shattered Glass", "Blur", "Radar" and "Out From Under". So, as you can see, pretty much the whole album. Buy it! You won't be disappointed. Britney is back!

Another Awesome Album! My favorite is still Blackout, but this one comes right after it!

Love it. It has meaningful songs, great dance numbers and she shows off her voice well with this. One of her best albums out of the 7 she has realeased.

I bought the CD of the album. My CD has a track called Quicksand. I don’t know why the album in this US store is missing that track. That song is one of the best of her. I love it. It’s sad to realize that the fans who bought her album here won’t get that track. That’s too bad. All Britney big fans should have that track. I am glad that I have it and found out about it. So, those you just read my comment who doesn’t have that track, check out the song. I think it’s written by Lady gaga. If you love Britney songs, that song is no exception.

Outside of enjoying some of her past hits with a few friends, I don't have a history of Britney fandom--but for this album I am impressed!! It's got that Britney-style sauciness and the beats are much edgier and very exciting to listen to. Aside from lyrics that aren't as hard-hitting, she's taken pop/dance music to a level of her own :D Congrats Britney!

I think it is about time that Britney gave up. She is not getting better, and she only uses the money that she makes to buy a bigger house. Do you see her name on any charity sponsor list? No. She puts on a too small outfit, attempts to dance and wails a bit into the microphone at her concerts. She is computer animated on the CD (in terms of her voice). Please people!! See through the dyed blonde hair and make up and actually listen to her sing. She is not that good AT ALL.

This album is one of the best from britney, it tells her side of what she has been living through daily, she is and was one of the best pop artists from the century. Womanizer is one of my favorit songs, it tells people that she has been used and has learned from her mistakes, and it won't happen again. She's smashing up the chart, blowing Miley Cyrus and others off as she climbs to the top 10 albums in 2008, Keep This UP Britney :)

Britney's back...Now she came with Circus, her best album ever!!!. Her voice sounds incredible here. This new album is a mix with In The Zone and Blackout. U can hear up-tempo songs, like Kill The Lights (a Piece of Me Part. II), trance track like Unusual You or funny and sexy lyrics on Mmm Papi and the 3rd single If U Seek Amy. Also, Womanizer, her first single, is a huge sucessful all over the world and the video is better than Toxic. The second single, Circus, is incredible -buy the video too-. I have to say, overall, not bad. In between the forgettable overly digitized tracks are a couple gems. Obviously Womanizer and Circus - but also Amnesia is a song I really love... who knew I'd be more then a "just-singles" Britney fan? I would love to hear Spears sing a capella just once; I find her music highly engineered and packaged, her personae sells her music, I think, contrary to other singers with great voices. Her sound techs are brilliant. Excellent dance tunes for sure.

I got to admit that some of her stuff are immature but when it comes to enjoyment, her album is beyond expectation. This is her style, and people seem to like it better than her previous album from looking at the high sales of "Circus". Some people are complaining that she is still immature, but it is still getting high sales. I recommend it to anyone who wants some good up beat music, I listen to her in my workouts and its great.

For all of those who doubted Brit's ability to reinvent herself (especially after a rough 3 yrs) than let Circus be a lesson in pop genius. Blackout was 2008s must underrated pop album and seemed hard to top, but this record shows Brit back to strong edgy dance songs, teary ballads, and surprising gems as well as some great bonus tracks, showing how versatile she is, providing a great listen. Congrats Brit you deserve all the good things you get from this!

But this is just more samey boring noise. I love pop music as much as I like Rock, but this isn't even music really. She doesn't write her music, her music is dominated by her image, as in what she looks like, her voice doesn't really rate that high among her contemporaries and nothing really varies from song to song. This album is further evidence of that.

Whilst a lot of people did not buy into Britney's previous album, Blackout, it was by far, one of her best and a difficult act to follow. But she has managed to do it with Circus. After only having the album for 2 days, key stand outs are Womanizer (of course), Circus, Kill the Lights, If You Seek Amy, and Mannequin. Lace and Leather is growing on me, and I do enjoy Shattered Glass... The slower, more balad tracks, Out From Under, Unusual You and Blur are all solid songs, and My Baby is very Mariah Carey'esk! This album certainly showcases Britney's vocal abilities, along with her song writting prowesk - following on from Blackout, it certainly takes on a Dance/Pop genre.. moving away from the standard pop. Absolutley love Britney's reinvigerrated image, music and style! All the success to her, and now looking forward to her fabulous video clips and hopefully a world tour which hits Australia!

This album not only depicts Britney's comeback to the music industry in a more sane and controlled manner, but also depicts some of her experiences throughout this downfall. Kill the lights is a strong, catchy track that expresses Britney's thoughts towards the Paparazzi. This album differs from Blackout in the sense that it presents more of Britney's voice and eliminates the previously common voice editing tools used. You will also find that the ballads are back with Unusual you, Out from under and My baby demonstrating the slow, touching side to Britney. Circus, Kill the lights, If U seek Amy among others are all fun catchy tunes that you'll find playing over and over again. Overall, this album is a solid peace of work and it is a clear representation of what Britney is capable of. It is a must have for all pop fans.

Even if you dont want to, you will find yourself singing along to classic pop tracks such as Circus, Shattered Glass and Kill the Lights days after you've finished listening to them. Out from under, although not an original, suits Britney so well and you'll find the meldoy peacefull and soothing, while the lyrics speak of real heartache, fitting for a celebrity of her status.And finally, the sure to be controversial song If U Seek Amy will have you jamming along and laughing at the fact that only Britney Spears could get away with singing a song where the entire chorus sounds like she's saying F.U.C.K ME. This new album is a good dance album. Thats whats good about Britney. She is able to churn out good dance tracks and that are easy on the ear. Never, really been a fan of Britney, but have been following her since her steady rise back to stardom. Circus - is a good collection of songs. There are a few stand outs. "Unusual You" is a good soft delightful track. Another to point out would be "Mmm Papi". As an album (as in reflecting a theme) it isnt very successful. The songs seem to be just thrown in without any thought. A glaring example of this the track "Lace & Leather" and "My baby". A swing in mood is too much to digest. Once this is evident then u realise that the songs dont really follow any idea at all. I also wasnt a fan of including "Radar" in the songs. I couldnt understand why when she had quite a few songs to choose from she chose to include an old and already released song in the mix. All this said the album is still fun to listen to if you are the type that gets by listening to catchy tunes and dont really want to pay attention to the lyrics or voice. Circus is a good effort by Britney Spears. Unusual You is my favourite pick from the album. 4 stars.

While the songs on this album may relate to her recent situation in life, it is blaringly obvious they are manufactured songs, not written by her, but by a team just out to make money$.
