Man Jim Jones Is Not The Best right now but all his songz are dope but people don´t like him and i dont know why?

Pray IV Reign is the second studio album by Jim Jones followed by the critically unsuccessful Hustler's P.O.M.E.. THe first single is Pop Bottles with Ron Browz feat. Juelz Santana, the trsck is at best ok and the best song on the album with Ron Browz delivering an almost catchy tune and Juelz Santana rapping an ok verse but Jim Jones' lyrics are just defragmented as he goes from describing a club to then saying "this all happened when stopping at light". The next single is Na Na Nana Na Na feat. NOE and Brittney Taylor, the single is mediocre well the hook is mediocre but the lyrics and whole theme of the song is just atrocious and fails at being at least a mediocre club banger. The third single is Frenimies, Jim Jones attempts at actually having an organized structure of lyrics when decribing friends who are now enimeis or whatever it means but again is just a bad excuse of a hip-hop song. A notable track is How to Be a Boss feat. Ludacris, Busta Rhymes and NOE, the track lyrically is well done by Ludacris and Bust Rhymes but the song is ruined by Jim Jones and NOE. Overall this album is even worse than the last where at least the last album had some good beats but this just had bad lyrics and beats.

Amazin' Jim is great! I like it. He sounds fresh and the music flows. NaNaNANANaNa is clever, Blow the Bank is so chill, and Pop Champagne a classic already.

Even if you don't like Jim Jones' albums, he usually can provide at least one or two bangers (Although I don't usually agree with the masses on which ones are bangin'), and from listening to the 30 second samples for this album this one kinda follows suit. I ended up buying 5 songs, 3 of which I consider certified hot (Let It Out, Precious, and This is the Life), and 2 others that intrigued me enough to want to hear more (Album Intro, and Blow the Bank). Of course, Pop Champagne, was hot to me too, but I already bought it before. Besides the songs I bought though, the rest of the tracks sounded okay; however, this album does sound like Jim Jones is continuing to improve, which is something I feel like he's been doing with every album.

1.Album Intro - Pretty decent track good way 2 kick the album off so it gets a 6/10 2.Pulling Me Back - This is a track to get you hyped for somethin like a ballgame or something 6.5/10 3.Let it Out- great song the beats hot great lyrics bout how he feels 8.5/10 4.How To Be A Boss - This is your usual jim jones ballin record u kno wat im sayin 5.5/10 5.Medicine - Not for the immature audience thats all i can say without gettin explicit but decent for a mature audience 6/10 6.Frienemies - Great song this is a diss track to camron and max b this song is great tho 9/10 7.Precious - For the ladies pretty good song probably a future hit 7/10 8.Blow the Bank - 3rd single not the best but good song for ladies 6/10 9.This is for my B_tches - Good song once again great song for the ladies 5.5/10 10.Girlfriend - This is one of those str8 club joints 6.5/10 11.This is the Life - real good song 8/10 12.My My My - The best song on the album this is a real life song with lyrics like if that aint god cryin when it rain it must be u and god in heaven poppin champagne 10/10 13.Pop Off - Original ballin record sorta street tho 6/10 14.Pop Champagne - The song that set the world on fire bout ron browz the 1st songle well u kno BALLIN 5/10 15.Rain - Great song real music 9/10 16.Na Na Nana Na Na - 2nd single pretty good 7.5/10

When I look at Jimmy's style, swagger, & work ethic (director of Artist Relations for Warner Music Group, Nostic Clothing Line, etc) his music makes perfect sense: this album is pretty much the soundtrack to his life right now. I suppose you'd have to be a Jim Jones/Dip Set fan to understand and know what to expect. In my opinion, "Pray IV Reign" has more depth than "Hustler's P.O.M.E.", though it has fewer songs. Crazy right?! Anyways, if you're a mainstream Hip Hop lover who likes the glossy sounds from Frooty Loops and homemade dances, then Jim Jones is apparently not your kinda dude. But if you like your Hip Hop to ooze emotion and bang solid, Jim Jones is as real as it gets.

In Houston Jim Jones is a joke, a tight beat here and there won't ever help a rapper this bad, his flow is just bad and his voice sounds like garbage.

From the intro to the end of the album Jim delivers a complete album... Frienemies is my favorite it's not a diss song it's just a real song. Songs like "This is the life" put me in the zone and "Rain" touch a nerve only a n***a that lived it know what i'm talking about... overall it's worth the download... Harlem stand up!!! I can't believe this would sell more than 1000 units total. Some of the beats are tight - but GodDamn Jim Jones is TERRIBLE! Rappers should be limited to the number of albums they put out with the exact same b******t content about b*****s, money and cars. Those disrespecting Jim Jones have no concept of hip hop. In the spirit of El-P, Sage Francis & Mike Skinner the production is layered and the story telling is poignant. Not everything is Jay Z......inspire a little imagination.

This has got to be the absolute worst rap album of all time. hell, its the worst any-genre of all time. I don't understand what Jim Jones was trying to accomplish with this. Clearly it was bound to fail; any person in their right mind can see that. The only thing I can think of is maybe he is a genius at making crap and making it into an album. If thats the case then great job Mr. Jones. You definitely did a great job: No one wants this junk. So great job and good luck with your next set of monthly payments seeing as this won't help you any, if it hasn't already lost you money

Favorite album of 2009. I like his kinda Medicine,...(best track fo a nasty gurl to give some brain 2). Girlfriend is my newest drivin' track, and the guitar tracks in Frienemies is adventurous! Buy it BEFORE it breaks wide open!
