michael was the best in the 80's without a doubt. soon after that era when the allegations started, people seemed to diss his music even though it was still good. this album should've got more attention cuz its actually pretty amazing.

I was scared of Michael Jacksons music when I saw the cover of "Thriller." I had nightmares for weeks! I was only six at the time, and I didn't listen to any of his music until just recently. My music teacher introduced me to and my classmates the film "This is it." After hearing "They don't care about us and "Smooth criminal." I fell in love with his music. If you are one of those kids who listen to pop artists, stop listening to "Anaconda and "Talk dirty to me" and listen to at least one of his songs. Note: I would hear "They don't care about us" first. Sorry I was late to the party.

I'm going to be honest and say that no I did not grow up listening to Michael Jackson songs on the radio, and I never went to one of his many concerts. I have now started to listen to his music, out of couriosty from seeing all the sad excitment after he died. I have fallen in love with his songs and this album is my favorite, well this one and Bad. I pretty much am saying that even though he is dead, his music isn't and kids my age are going to be talking about his amazing music for years. Micheal Jackson is gone, but his music will live on!

Michael Jackson will always have place in my heart. when i was young Motown was in and i remember seeing Michael on the Ed Sullivan show. May he rest in peace and his music live on.

The second disc to this set is AMAZING! Disc 2 (which is the original material of this set) is some of MJ's most innovative work, yet due to his lifestyle and the controversy surrounding him and his life, the history album was kind of swept under the rug. Hopefully with his death people can listen to his music now without prejudice, since now they do not have to be fascinated with the man. The first disc is classic MJ, only would have wished that Smooth Criminal was on it, but hey now we can just download the extra song from iTunes. Buy this entire album (it's a great deal here) and then buy Smooth Criminal seperately and you'll have the perfect MJ collection for the casual listener.

This album has all of MJ's best works of songs. I recommend this album if you are a new MJ fan. My favorite new songs of Michael Jackson of this album would have to be Money, Stranger In Moscow. I recommend all you MJ fans out there these songs. We all miss the true and only King of Pop.

By the release of "HIStory" in the states, Michael's tabloid image had for overshadowed his music. The excellent and intriguing "Blood on the Dance Floor" and "HIStory" was basically rejected, by Jackson's commercial standards. Those albums were globally influenced because like the woman who was his progeny, Michael and Diana Ross were bigger international stars than stars in their homeland. Songs like "Stranger in Moscow", "Earth Song" and "Scream" were designed to appeal to his global fan base. "Tabloid Junkie", "This a time Aound" and "You Are Not Alone" may be more oriented to the urban American consumer. Maybe.

This takes every great MJ song, and adds in the ones you never knew. Just listen to the previews. They're mixing Billie Jean, Scream, and Thriller with Tabloid Junkie. Before this I didn't know what Tabloid Junkie was. Now it's my favorite song. These guys dissin' MJ can go take MJ's place so he can keep entertaining us. He was undoubtedly the best artist in Jackson 5, 80s, 90s, and to present. Stop dissin' MJ, he's just better than you. Sorry.

Scream is awesome..they don't care about us shows that mic wont stand for rascism. You have a great cover of the Beatles Come Together...the diss of the century in D.S. You are not alone shows that Michael is still the best as well as earth song. Money, Tabloid Junkie, 2 bad, shows that the media and idiots can keep spreading the lies because it didnt bother him. Childhood and Little Susie give us michael's soft side while still giving us meaning. With the fifteen hits this is definitely a must bu. I prefer to buy this and then smooth criminal since its not on here and then you'll have an awesome collection...HISTORY!

This is such a complete selection of his grown-up career. Hit after hit after hit! I'll never get tired of it. I love you Michael for always!

tabloid junkie never listened to it till today and i dont know why that didnt go to number one i guess because compared to his normal fun loving no message music its the opposite but it doesnt change the great beat and rhythm

The only song i personally don't like is the cover on "Come Together", Nothing personal to the fans of this song i just feel that "Come Together" shouldn't of been covered by him, it doesn't feel right to my ears. Other than that 1 song the collection is great. MJ's voice is tops. So if you like the songs buy it, or buy individual tracks you don't have yet.

This album proves that MJ is history throughout Disc 1 and Disc 2. Still a good ablum. Buy It.

Michael is like no other. An artist like Michael comes around only once..just once never again will we see an artist like Michael. MJJ was actually one of the only artists who have actually taught me something. This album btw, is also really great. I love 2 Bad and Tabloid Junkie.

Unappreciated album. Honestly, you're missing his best material if you haven't heard these songs. The songs are raw, angry, emotional, and I loved every minute of it!

I grew up with MJ and loved him from his start. It is so sad that he had such a horrible childhood, but man could he sing! I will miss his voice and his dance style so much. May he finally rest in peace, God blesses you.
