Lexi574685 - :)))))I love incubus!!!! Great album!
Drive is my favorite!!
TheSiGuy - LovelyWow, I can't believe Incubus has a greatest hits album! Kinda makes me feel old. I've been a fan of Incubus since 1997, I first heard them on the spawn soundtrack they made a song with DJ Greyboy called "Familiar Medicine" It was interesting and new and was definitely the "it" sound at the time. Ever since I have kept on eye on them and slowly became a Incubus fanatic. Make Yourself came out and with that album it soldified Incubus as my favorite band and they have been eversince. Anyways, Monuments and Melodies. It may not be what fans of S.C.I.E.N.C.E. want to hear, but remember it's a "GREATEST HITS" album. none of the tracks from that album received steady airplay or mainstream attention so therefore it is not a "Greatest Hit". Overall it is does a great job encompassing the hits of their past from make yourself to present date and with the inclusion of two new tracks it rounds it out nicely. Midnight Swim is definitely the better of the two tracks a little soft and little hard, it furthers their journey into this audiosonic dramatic sound that they've been perfecting as of late. Other than that there isnt much to say as we all pretty much know the hits and we love em (for the most part) Now onto the second disc. It is a collection of B-Sides and Rarities. For you non die-hard fans this will be a gem to treasure. It includes B-Sides from Morning View, A Crow Left of The Murder and Light Grenades. It also includes alot of other tracks that may have not been heard before. Now for me and other die hard fans it's a little of a dissapointment. I already have half of these tracks. Look Alive and Punch Drunk were released as mp3's to fans to download for free, Admiration and Neither of us Can See was from the Stealth soundtrack and they ruined the latter which was originally a duet with Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders. The original is exponentially better. And lastly Pantomime and Monuments and Melodies was on the Alive at the Red Rocks CD. So I've already heard these and have had them for ages. With that aside this still receives 5 stars because I am extremely biased. I love Incubus. Do you?
trewmuzik - horrible albumBrandon doesn't do a good job of incorporating lyrics into the melodies anymore. I couldn't find a single "new" song that I could listen to all the way through. Don't waste your money!
drcmays - Where the FUNK is it?Good album for those who enjoy a softer, less funkier, incubus, while for others (older fans from the Science and Fungus Amongus era) , it might be seen as a let down.
For newbies, they are gonna like it.
Should've included Crowded Elevator in the album since it had already included so many other hits.
INCUBUS NEEDS FUNK!
TahoeSharp - Incubus fanThis album is amazing. There seems to be a multitude of reviews discussing the relevance between Incubs' older music as compared to their newest music. Truth be told I am a fan of it all. I believe that every band needs to change in order to transcend the times. Their ability to play a multitude of different styles of music truly makes them one of the best bands of the time. For example: look at the difference between The Beatles early music as compared to their later music as on The White Album. With that being said I can honestly say I am a true fan of Incubus.
MarathonKeyGirl - Introduced me to a more pronounced selection.I heard "Love Hurts" on the radio about a year ago, and that's the only way I knew about Incubus. In counting, I had two Incubus (ext. is "Dig") songs before I heard "Black Heart Inertia", which is the song that basically opened me up to all things Incubus. I love almost every song on this album. The good thing about Incubus is they can make really great music. The bad thing about Incubus is they can make absolutely horrendous music also. 4/5 stars.
Gmon311 - Yeeeeesh!! Talk about overkill :/Uh, Hey Guys from Incubus! What happened to originality and keeping things fresh?!
You guys are barely into your 30's! That means you're in your prime. So start acting like it and quit acting like the best is already behind you so you can just jog to the finish line.
Cuz that's what this album says to me. It's a random collection of songs that aren't that new at all (considering Light Grenades came out THREE YEARS AGO).
What? Black Heart Inertia is on the radio and that song is new? I think it's garbage and doesn't even skim the surface as to how deep and artistic these guys can really be. It's way too poppy (which is a trend I regret to inform Incubus is striving for nowadays) and is repetitive. Not a good beat either.
But what's that you say?? There are bonus tracks as well? Well if you weren't so busy jumping on the bandwagon you would likely know that most of those songs have been previously released on separate recordings. That doesn't mean I'm bashing them, or any of their songs. It just means that they are relying too heavily on this album and live show ticket sales to get them back in the limelight.
Listen, I'm a HUGE Incubus fan. Probably one of my top 5 fav's of all time. I just saw them perform a show of epic proportions not even 4 days ago. But let's get real. This album is a bad display of commercialism and unprofessionalism. It's a waste of money when you can go out and buy the albums with the songs on them already which are supported by better songs.
Don't waste your time here. It doesn't even have a single track from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. What's with that?
If you really want to "Enjoy Incubus" do yourself a favor and appreciate this band by purchasing one of their other albums. My first one was Morning View. Haven't regretted purchasing it since. I've bought every other album since then and haven't been disappointed. But you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you buy this. I'd much rather wait til they release a new album with new songs on it.
And I was juuuuust about to give this a 2-star rating. Darn. Better luck next time.
incubusfan1 - greatthis is a great album can't get enough of black heart iniertia
Jeep28 - INCUBUS RULES!!Anyone that calls themself a INCUBUS fan should be able to evolve with the music they make & enjoy evey bit of it. So if you dont like this album or anything after S.C.I.E.N.C.E your not a true fan. I say buy anything they have ever come out with
Rowart - Actually the greatest hits love itOk first for all you people saying s.c.I.n.c.e is the best cd that is over exagerated don't get me wrong it is a amaizing cd but morning view and make yourself were top sellig CDs with the most singles along withlight grenades like incubus has changed so much over the years or "evolve" I staretrd listening to the when I first heard azwethinkweiz ya it took time for me to get used to the more mellow stuff. But over the ears the mre mellow stuff has become my favorite musc by them. It is so deep and flows perfectly
This set of CDs could be the best greatest hits ackaged I hav listened to in a long time it us filled with the songs thy were the moat well known from the bad wigh a few that were not science came out before a lot of incubus fansbecame fans of it just because the statistics are the wu they are is not their fault so why bash them be because you ate one of the peole who does not like it
neighborhood h. - This is dissapointingWow, nothing from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. This is supposed to be a "Best Of..." collection and they didn't include anything from their best album.
makeyourself_42 - Haha*note- i'm the daughter of jimizulu and the following isn't his own personal opinion i'm just on his account
Anyway, I don't understand why people always whine about how incubus has changed and blah blah blah. And evolve is a very appropriate word if I do say so myself. It's a new year and I think it's cool that Incubus can be different and feel comfortable showing all of the aspects of their musical spectrum. Oh and a hits album never has all of your favorite songs on it, any music lover knows that.
Maslova - Really listen...It's a bit unfair for any "true fan" of Incubus to expect a group of five human beings who are living their lives and experiencing new things everyday to essentially keep releasing the same album over and over again. They've matured... and so has their music. The new songs produced by Brendan O'Brien are uniquely complex (compositionally); in some cases more complex than their earlier stuff. And the lyrics are still as amazing and thought-provoking as they've ever been. As a band, and as individuals, the members of Incubus have experienced a lot and their music definitely reflects that. I don't think that could or should ever be equated with selling out. They've said before that they've "only ever made the music they wanted to make."
This album may not include some of their oldest songs, but none of the songs included are disappointing. And if you were a fan from the start, I'm sure you already own the songs that are missing. Monuments and Melodies is a great album. Give it a good listen and you're sure to find something you love (or at the very least, like a lot) about it.
Jbabz15 - Spectacular!!!!!!!Incubus has been my favorite band for a long time. I saw them in concert just last night and they KILLED IT!!!! They performed new and old songs and they were amazing. They have such great energy too!!!! :)
Rokallday - Greatest hitsIt's a wonderful collaboration of incubus music much like a greatest hits. To all of those who think incubus has sold out, u should just shut up u dont deserve to hav an opinion when u say that about such an amazing band. They have grown and yes they do hav a more modern sound but they are still one of a kind. I love incubus and what they need to do is to put out an all new album not just a greatest hits. But this album definitely has the best of the best That incubus has made over the years.
B Sauce - The Fall of IncubusDont get me wrong, Incubus is still one of my favorite bands of all time. But with Ben Kenney playing the bass instead of Dirk Lance, it is a complete switch of bands. Dirk's funk-metal was of Flea (RHCP) like sound and now with Ben Kenney its too "pop" for me. Still there are some classics from Morning View and Make Yourself which are two great albums on this cd. The new songs dont really do it for, however I'll always be an Incubus supporter though.
somethingridiculoussoithasn'tbeentaken - Eraser to a pencilJust to be fair, I'm writting this review to correct a point of another reviewer, which is that A Certain Shade Of Green is from the album S.C.I.E.N.C.E.. So there is at least one song from their older albums. 1 out of 27 ain't bad. Except when it means hearing Pardon Me twice.
baby bubba but we're still friends - How about some tracks from S.C.I.E.N.C.E and prior?Being a fan of Incubus since SCIENCE was released when I was 14 years old, I naturally went out and bought this album the day it was released. As I said, I have been a fan since SCIENCE, however, I have found that their last two albums, Crow Left... and Light Grenades, have left a little more to be desired in the creativity department. When I heard that Incubus was to release a "greatest hits" album, I was hoping for more of a career retrospective, which would include some songs from great albums such as SCIENCE and Fungus Amongus. That being said, I did preview the track listing before I purchased the album so I knew what I was getting myself into.
=Disc One=
The first disc is a "greatest hits" and it contains just that, Incubus' greatest commercial hits in addition to two new recordings, Black Heart Inertia and Midnight Swim. The two new recordings are simple and underwhelming, which is what I have now come to expect from Incubus. I don't really care for "Megalomaniac" or "Anna-Molly" but I do understand their presence on the album. What I don't really understand is why some songs from SCIENCE and prior are not included on the album instead of including some new recordings such as "Oil and Water", "Dig" and to a certain extent "Love Hurts" (which I do realize was a #1 song). I know songs like "New Skin", "Certain Shade of Green", "The Warmth" and "Aqueous Transmission" weren't commercial hits, but their inclusion would have made this a more well rounded review of Incubus' career thus far.
=Disc Two=
On to the second disc-- the reason I purchased the album. This is a collection of B-sides, rarities, crappy Prince covers, etc... I was looking forward to this disc as I was hoping I would contain older style Incubus offerings. A few of the tracks contained on this disc I had previously heard.
The highlights from disc 2 for me:
"Neither Of Us Can See"
"While All the Vulture Feed"
"Pantomime"
"Anything"
"Punch Drunk"
"Admiration"
"Monuments and Melodies"
All of these songs have a vintage Incubus sound and feel to them which made them appealing to me.
"Look Alive" is a decent listen. The acoustic version of "Certain Shade of Green" pales in comparison to the original. "Martini" is not my favorite and Disc Two is rounded out by a abhorrent cover of Prince's "Let's Go Crazy" which is barely listenable and the idea of it should have been aborted before it was even conceived.
=Overall=
Overall I was torn between giving this two disc album 3 or 4 stars. In this end I went with 3 out of 5 simply because I would have preferred that the album contained tracks from each Incubus' albums. Like a previous reviewer stated, it is like Incubus feels that their career begun when their songs started getting ridiculous airplay and they started to sell out arenas, which many of us who have been fans for more than 4 years know is, in fact, not true. I do look forward to new Incubus work in hopes that they will again embrace their experiment side. However, I do fear that their best days musically ended on October 23, 2001 when Morning View was released and that the groundbreaking and innovative sound that I used to love about Incubus has been permanently replaced with a watered-down and commercially pleasing mediocrity.
djgincubus - Incubus Evolved! Give it a try and you will like it!Over the course of time, Incubus has given us the pleasure to witness them evolve into one of the greatest bands ever! Many of you may agree/disagree, due to the difference in their music they've produced from the early stages of their career(Fungus Amungus) up to the newest collection that is "Monuments and Melodies" which i hope is not there last album. My theory has always been this, if you don't like it the first time you listen to it..then give it a few tries and it will eventually grow on you. That is how I felt about the last two albums, but then i eventually loved them as much as the early albums. With that being said, here are my ratings so far for the "newest" songs on this album.
Black Heart Inertia - 8.5/10 - very catchy, but good..didn't like it the first time i heard it and then kept listening to it..eventually it grew on me
Midnight Swim - 9/10 - solid song
Neither of Us Can See - 9.5/10 - i really like this song..definitely set a good tone going into the 2nd CD.
Look Alive - 9/10 - already had this song before..was told this song was scrapped from the "Light Grenades" album and i think that it should of been on it! Great song overall to me!
While All The Vultures Feed - 9.5/10 - Great song!! One of my top two favorite new songs released.
Pantomine - 9/10 - I like this better than the slower original version.
Anything - 9/10 - Has that Morning View vibe to it and is a very solid song at that.
Punch Drunk - 9/10 - Another song that should of been on Light Grenades and one i definitely think exceeds a few songs on that album. Excellent song overall!
Admiration - 8/10 - Not bad!
Martini - 9/10 - Another solid song!
A Certain Shade of Green - 8.5/10 - Nothing is better than acoustic played by Incubus
Monuments and Melodies - 7/10 - This is the only song that has not grown on me yet. Too slow for me, but like i have said above, i am sure if i give it a few more tries i will eventually like it.
Let's Go Crazy - 9/10 - Great cover!
lilman22 - a great blendWhen I bought this album I didn't know it was comprised of b-sides, re-mixes, and new material. That being said this is a great album and we are truly blessed with a band that can come out with this type of material and still jam! This is a great ROCK album not another Incubus album. Don't try to compare it to there other stuff because your not giving yourself a fair chance to listen to some great music, thats like saying the Red Hot Chili Peppers sound the same now as when they first came out. Pick up this album if you enjoy Incubus and want to enjoy some great tunes!
liebejessi - Insanely refreshing!Proof that Incubus is definitely here to stay! It's great revisiting the old hits and hearing some never before released singles/ new songs at the same time. I love how they always go in a new direction, and they've definitely found their second wind yet again! ...Crazily refreshing. great work, guys! :D
SnoRo - Roadtrip TunesI've been a fan of Incubus since I was 12. I don't care how they've "evolved" they still rock the socks off of doubt itself. Albums like "Light Granades," and many earlier albums just show audiences not how the band has changed but how our generation has changed. The lyrics have more inspiration and hope and sometimes downright depressing phrases; however, the lyrics speak louder than the millions of bands that have been around forever but couldn't cut it like Incubus can. My support stands strong with this collection of artistry.
teday12 - good album but not full potentiali guess these album reviews have just turned into a discussion of present-day incubus
Incubus is definitely not what they used to be. their best work was from 1997 (S.C.I.E.N.C.E.) through 1999 (Make Yourself) until 2001 (Morning View)
since then incubus has been on a slight downhill until now. (Light Grenades: low point of career) i feel like incubus is on the rise once again, this time in a new way. a good album nontheless
my album rankings:
1. Make Yourself without a doubt perfect songs from Privelege all the way to Out from Under
2. Morning View excellent but with a few missing pieces
3. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. love Redefine
4. A Crow Left of the Murder
5. Fungus Amongus
Imaboss35645 - Great band.I like Incubus not only because of how good their music is, but how they have so many different genres of music in their work. S.C.I.E.N.C.E. was a great album, but there are a lot of great songs on Morning View, Light Grenades and especially Make Yourself. If you want the songs from S.C.I.E.N.C.E., you might as well buy them rather than complaining.
nfguy4128 - I miss Dirk Lancedear incubus, please listen to your fans and make GOOD incubus music, whatever happened to the days of redefine and vitamin and calgone the good incubus music
Yay'Merrily - I don't know....I don't know about "Greatest Hits". I'm sure many before me have said something about there not being any songs from before Make Yourself (beside the A Certain Shade of Green acoustic cover), which really is a disappointment. There are quite a few older songs that I think would fit well into this album without alienating Incubus's newer listeners: Azwethinkweiz, Summer Romance, You Will Be a Hot Dancer, Take Me to Your Leader..... A third disc with older tracks would have been a lovely addition.
Also, the new songs really dont do anything for me. "While All the Vultures Feed" and the new studio version of "Pantomime" are the exceptions (both remind me of ACLOTM and Morning View, which is good!). "Black Heart Inertia", "Midnight Swim" are alright, nothing special, but tracks like "Martini" "Lets Go Crazy" and "Anything" truly bring this compilation down. The songs pulled from the hard-to-get/not-well-known albums like the Stealth Soundtrack and the Japanese release of Light Grenades ("Punch Drunk") are a nice touch, though. But it really isn't enough to please this particularly picky Incubus fan.
alwayzrockinout7 - Good...not amazingI love Incubus, new and old. I liked the old alot, because of the heavy bass and stuff. I also like the new, its like a whole new band. Im seeing them live. Im excited! This album is good for anyone who likes the new incubus. If u like the old, not great.
Ross Walline - Worth the buy but don't expect the old soundThis is a greatest hits CD with some new songs scattered throughout. I love the old songs, because I became a fan of Incubus with Make Yourself, SCIENCE, Crow Left of the Murder and Morning View. Those CD's defined Incubus for me, and every since Light Grenades I just haven't felt the magic like I used to with all the other albums. The older CD's I play regularly while Light Grenades gathers dust, and this disk might gather dust as well if it didn't have such a good mix of the old hits. If you're a fan of the new Incubus, meaning since Light Grenades, then you'll love this album, but a fan like myself will be mildly dissapointed and will hopefully warm up to the new songs over time.
HollyTokyo - HeyAfter reading the most critical first and for fun, I have to disagree with them. Although you may be new to Incubus (listening to only this, "Monuments and Melodies" or "Light Grenades") or are a listener since their early work ("Fungus Amungus" or "S.C.I.E.N.C.E"), they're still a good band. They haven't sold out, even though some people say so. Great songs, both new and old.
Ben Kenney, Brandon Boyd, Chris Kilmore, Jose Pasillas and Mike Einziger, thank you for your music over the years. You guys are the greatest band ever
vvanatta - I love IncubusI don't care what anyone says...Incubus is one of the most amazing bands there is..they can pull off anything. I can relate to every song they have. This new album is awesome!
Corey the baller. - Monuments and Melodies is an absolute hit!Now i wasn't a fan of incubus since the beginning. This was the first album i bought of theirs. Even if you dont like it at first, i will guarantee it grows on you. This is now my favorite band. After just hearing this album, i went out and got all their other albums and the only ones i wasn't happy with were science and a fungus amongus. Incubus rocks.
BLACK HEART INERTIA- 10/10
This song is just awesome, great for any person who likes that alternative rock sound.
MIDNIGHT SWIM- 10/10
This song mixes a blend of alternative and hard rock and obtains the perfect balance. great song.
WHILE ALL THE VULTURES FEED- 10/10
I didn't like it after hearing the first couple seconds, but then once i listened to about 30 seconds, i was captivated. this is just an awesome song, period.
CERTAIN SHADE OF GREEN- 9/10
This song is so much better than the version on SCIENCE. This was the first version i listened to of the song and i just think its such a great sound for that particular melody.
PANTOMIME- 8/10
Pantomime mixes a somewhat funky sound with a nice alternative sound. i didn't think i'd like the song at first, but the chorus just makes it a great song.
PARDON ME- 5/10
Even though its an old song, this is the only disappointment of the album. The fast-rapping sort of style is not good for the verses. It would have been so much better if the song fit the chorus.
And finally, PUNCH DRUNK- 9/10
This song is great. It's got such an interesting guitar part and the lyrics are just amazing. I love this song.
This album is amazing, and i recommend to any fan of incubus to buy this album immediately. You won't regret it!
420sublime311 - All I've got to say is...well, although this album might be a disappointment it still has it's unique qualities. Midnight Swim and a few of their newer songs aren't too bad. Black Heart Inertia is alright as well. It definitely would have been groovy if Hilikus, Take Me to Your Leader, New Skin, Deep Inside, Redefine, and some of their older songs could've been on there. I personally give this CD 3 stars. If ya don't like this album too much, crank up Enjoy Incubus, Fungus Amongus, and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. These, albums, in my opinion are their greatest as far as their nu metal days are concerned. Check out live covers from Incubus. They do Message in a Bottle by the Police and Hello by Lionel Richie. Good stuff! Peace guys/gals.
Crash Overyde - Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit of INCUBUS!I feel this album accomplishes everything a "Greatest Hits" album should.. It has virtually every billboard-topping single the group has had (which IS the purpose of a 'greatest hits' cd, right?). But Incubus went above and beyond in adding a B-Sides & Rarities duel CD for the price of one! While the tracks on the B-Sides CD might not impress the average altrock listener, they are certainly appreciated by the truest and oldest of their fans.. People should realize that there is usually a reason 'rarity' tracks don't make it to feature albums: they are usually TOO anit-mainstream and Atypical for the majority audience. For this reason, a Duel CD Greatest Hits album is the perfect place for such a release.. In my opinion, the new tracks are interesting and unique, and show yet another side of the band's creativity. All in all, a success :)
penny wise987 - this is crapI love Incubus, but they have sold themselves short and should've done a much better song selection such as Nowhere fast, Circles and there new songs sound so ridiculous.
aquamonkey - This is why Incubus is amazing!Incubus kicks butt and takes names. End of story.
huge fan but dissapointed - not their bestI'm a huge incubus fan.. but this wasn't amazing. The first disc is pretty good but their new stuff is missing alot. I miss the days of Morning View and Make Yourself, and even though they are trying new material i think they should go back to late 90's and early 00's incubus style of more alternative rock and less "emo-ish". But regardless, i'm still a huge fan
tabootablet - Where is the Incubus we all knew and loved? For all who buy this album and conisder it good, you should check out the earlier albums. Enjoy Incubus; SCIENCE; & Make Yourself these are GREAT! albums. I suggest not buying this thing, but going and purchasing these previously mentioned albums. If you have these albums, then you know what I'm talking about.
udidwhat!!! - dear incubusi have been a loyal fan who still listens to your very first ep closet cultivations. Being a musician myself i understand that change is what makes great music, but what has happened to you brandon? who you have become dosent really seem to be the same person who i have come to know and love through their music. having fame dosent mean that you schould settle for less, brandon if you get this message, which of course you wont. please take a moment and take some advice from a friend. break the barrier between old and new incubus, create a CD that will make both of your audiences happy and try to find that missing piece thats been lost for so long. because once you do the puzzle that you have been creating will begin to feel complete. Are you in?
dodad - thank you incubusI figure the epic contract forced incubus into a crappy greatest hits idea, but those guys turned something i wasn't going to purchase into something that I am amazed at. They gave us an awesome deal. the new songs are awesome! sony wanted to make some money. But the album is the greatest greatest hits cd ever. I am a little bit sick and tired of people whining that incubus sold out, or are washed up because their sound has changed. sorry they aren't stuck in the same mindset they were when they wrote Science. Let it go people. respect the musicians they are, let them create the music they want to create, and either listen to their stuff or don't. They aren't forcing it down your throat. If you want to listen to some music for idiots, there are tons of bands like disturbed or nickelback out there. those are very enjoyable drinking beer in a trailer somewhere. let Incubus' music be smart. let them push themselves a bit. They deserve that from you. Thank you guys. Mikey is amazing, Kilmore learns a new instrument every day it seems like, Jose is freaking good and has way to many drums and cymbals for me to know what to do with, Ben is incredible at whatever he does (get his solo album maduro and you'll see), and we all know Brandon has ridiculous pipes. They aren't the best band ever, but they are pretty dang close. Thanks guys, I appreciate your efforts.
Nivek9238 - great albumYeah so this album is not perfect cause it lacks the hits from the album Science. but if you look past that its a very good album. All the songs on the second disc are worth giving a listen. and to all of you Dirk Lance fans out there. all of you need to drop it because Ben Kenney is a far better bassist than dirk will ever be. oh man Dirk can slap..woww...guys i think any bassist can slap, just no one wants to hear that anymore, it sounds cheesy and childish, and Incubus is trying their hardest to break away from those days no matter how amazing fungus amongus actually was at the time.
Buttons2424 - A Far Cry from the Days of A Certain Shade of GreenIncubus has completely sold out... or they just have so much money now that they honestly aren't angry anymore.
Malmusic16 - umm.....What the hell? I've always loved incubus but lately I have not enjoyed their new work. What happened to Ben Kenney slappin the bass and Chris workin the turntables? The older albums of incubus are my favorite. The older the better I have come to realize.
Arewdee - Incubus rocksIncubus keep on doin what you're doing everythings amazing. One of the greatest bands to ever live!!
MBW1234 - monuments and melodiesI dig (pun intended) the old stuff - but to see these guys stay true to their roots while also continually exploring new technology (& old), lyrical styles ("fun w/ words"), and on top of that continue to improve as musicians is inspiring. For those not liking change - I understand liking one song/album better, but instead of getting stuck take a chance and listen to the work in its entirety - you can always find/learn something new. Got to respect that level of complexity in todays music BUSINESS! Glad to have some more tunes fellas.
Yesdnilw - Always been good to me.I've been a diehard Incubus fan from Fungus Amongus to Light Grenades. The newer albums are different but this amazing band never ceases to amaze me. You are not a true fan if you can't understand the creative differences of each album. I always have found different ways to like each album and I think every single album of theirs is unique and I still find myself to enjoy every single cd. They are truely one of the best bands of all time.
linds_182 - Ehhhhhh....I'm like in love with incubus but this wasn't their best album even though it was pretty good.. so 3 stars..
NicholasPFQ - A TRAGEDYDo you hear that? Thats the sound of incubus selling out and taking every cheap thrill and coming back with the audacity to call this garbage real music. You guys have to see it, have to know that this is not you but the industry taking control and hushing your voice. En light of these horrible events, I am now convinced the world is ending in 2012
jstef23 - LegendaryI am 13 years old and this band is my favorite band. I can listen to every song from S.C.I.E.N.C.E to Monuments and Melodies and never get bored. There is something about their music that will never get old. The talent that incubus has creates their own type of music which every fan including myself loves. The first time i listened to Incubus was when Light Grenades was released. Incubus released their first album when i was only 1. I sometimes wish i could be older so i would have been able to actually learn and enjoy incubus from when they started. Overall, they're an amazing band.
I love Florida - Love it!Incubus has so many hits! This is a great way to get all of them! I bought the CD at Best Buy for $9.99. That's 26 songs for 10 bucks! Then u get the code for The Vault to access 100's of other songs and videos by them. After this, Incubus has made me a bigger fan.
hockey_bailey - stopSeriosuly. I understand people missing SCIENCE and what not, but seriously? Incubus is a solid band that is NOT selling out. They're just getting older and are enjoying making music the way they want. They recently did a tour in smaller venues because they wanted to. Now they are back up to ampitheatres and bigger festivals. Let the artist be the artist and enjoy the product. Monuments and melodies is full of chart toppers BECAUSE IT IS A GREATEST HITS. Fans, buy it...
