Loved the album from the upbeat instrumental sounds to old songs. My favorite is "Pat-A-Pan" which has never been a song I have enjoyed until listening to the different twist David and his arrangers put on it. A pleasing album overall for everyone who likes Christmas sounds with a pop twist. Nice job on "Joy to the World" and "Melodies of Christmas".

love the whole thing -- every song is gorgeous. My favorites are O Holy Night, Ave Maria & What Child Is This. Those gave me chills. I love those songs every Christmas, but these are the best versions I've heard. I was amazed at how well he sang in 4 languages! It seems like there is nothing this guy can't sing.

David exceeds our expectations once again. You can really tell he put his heart & soul into this album, and his voice sounds so pure and natural. My favorites are The First Noel, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Melodies of Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I can't wait for more of his music to come out and see how well he does in the future!

Oh man, where do I start? David Archuleta's voice is like...like...woah. I absolutely love this album. The emotion he expressed in these Christmas songs made my heart soar. Especially since its around the holidays. Personally, I love Christmas & the holidays, and hearing the songs he sang in Christmas from the Heart just added to my joy even more. Woo! I know it is already end of Feb, 2010 but I just couldnt pass on the oppurtunity to comment on Christmas from the Heart! I have Groben, Dion,and Brocelis albums and this year my favorite is David Archuleta. This album has brought me to tears of joy so many times. The power of his voice and the way he connects with each song just---well makes it the very best. I first time I listened to it in my car on the way to work. I could not stop listening. I sat in my car thru the entire album his voice surrounding me, totally feeling like I had never before heard the words and known the meaning of those songs before. With tears streaming down my face, chills and feelings that I have never felt listening to these songs my whole life.They touched me to my very soul and still do! David Archuleta has the voice like I have never heard of any performer young and old. I treasure each and every song he sings. I can't wait for his new CD and book this Spring.Fan for life!!!!!!!

Beautiful, Inspiring, Uplifting, Truly Heart Felt and Sung by a remarkable youngman with an angelic voice. I just knew that this Christmas CD would bring tears to my eyes and uplift my spirit. Listen everyone not just with your ears but with your heart you will remember this one for many, many years to come!!! Melodies of Christmas will be a chart topper for sure! (One quick note for any nay sayers out there, David suffered from vocal cord paralysis when he was very young and still has only partial recovery from that. So his breath sounds are airier than most people. It is a miracle that he can sing at all. I say God Bless him for his hard work at recovery and for relearning to singing for us) We Love you David and applaud your hard work!

To truly appreciate this collection of beloved holiday songs, one must take the time to really listen to THE VOICE of David Archuleta. If you are listening without truly paying attention, then you will miss out on just what a classic, a masterpiece this recording truly is. Joy to the World is my favorite, by the third verse, David is all out in testifying mode, testifying of his faith in God, full of joy, and those fabulous Archuleta-runs. It gives me chills every time I listen to it...and wonders, and WOOOOONDERS oooooof Hiiissss Loooooove! Pat-A-Pan is a unknown carol, but leave to David to make it his own, taking the listener on a wild delightful ride. Ave Maria, sung in Latin, is absolutely stunning, guaranteed to leave you with not a dry eye...and it truly sounds like he's singing a love song, genius I tell ya, genius! Then there is Melodies of Christmas...an original penned by David. Absolutely delightful, and quite catchy, should become a standard on the radio during the holiday season. This is Christmas music sure to become a classic for years go come. Do yourself a favor, buy this CD, take the time to truly listen without distractions, allow yourself to let go and be touched by The Voice of David Archuleta.

If you don't own this album already, you definitely need to. David Archuleta's love for the holidays can be felt in every track. I love that David included songs sung in other languages. My entire family has added 'Christmas From The Heart' to their holiday collection, and it will stay there for many, many years. Bravo David Archuleta for a succesful album!

David's Christmas album is amazing. Appropriately titled, "Christmas from the Heart" showcases his ability to sing from the heart. He makes these classic Christmas songs his own and the feeling and emotion in every one is incredible. My favorite song is Pat-A-Pan, but I also love Melodies of Christmas, Riu Riu Chiu, and Ave Maria. You won't be disappointed with this album.

Okay, now THIS is Christmas music. It is all classic, beautiful melodies that warm the heart. Listen it by the fireplace like I did. It completely melts the soul with David's touching, gentle voice. David Archuleta has HIT it big this time. So WHAT if he isn't on American Idol anymore. Who the HECK cares!!?? As i scrolled through MANY different reviews that were mostly All great. Those people have taste. They know what Christmas truly means, no doubt about it. This is cheerful musics that blends well with his voice and -hence- i say it again: Warms the heart and melts the soul. Definetly what Christmas means- The Birth Of Jesus!!!

This was an OK first attempt, but his voice is still immature. Perhaps with age he'll be able to increase his range and depth. There wasn't a memorable rendition in the entire album!!! I deleted it from my iPod.....

I saw him in concert a couple weeks ago and trust me it is totally worth buying this CD.

All I have to say is "Thank you Lord for sending down an angel like David with a voice to match." I just finished reviewing his Christmas album, and it became a profound spiritual experience. He moves everyone in a different way, but I certainly can feel his direct connection to the Lord. Wow! What a deep and moving experience, and more importantly, what a beautiful human being David appears to be. Keep singing from the soul and for the Lord, David.

This album really brings out the smoothness in David's voice. He sings all the songs so well. I was shocked when I listened to the songs on this album beacuse they really are sung so heavenly.

David has a great voice...his Ave Maria holds true to the traditional song yet he adds his own twist to it. Very upbeat...quickly becoming our families favorite Christmas CD. More than I expected.

Even when Christmas was over and our decorations are put away, I can't take this cd out of my car. It's so wonderful and soothing and powerful. David has a way of spreading such happiness and joy through his music, it's more than just Christmas carols. I'm so proud of what David has accomplished, and I'm proud to be a fan. I recommend all of David's music to everyone, including this album. He's both an amazing singer, and an incredible human being.

This Christmas album is amazing. David has done an amazing job with the world's most well-known Christmas song like "Joy to the World" and "Silent Night" and has cast a spot-light on some songs that aren't that well known, like "Pat-a-Pan" and "Riu Riu Chiu" and "Melodies of Christmas". I've never heard those songs before, but after hearing them with David's amazing vocals, they are trapped within my head. David did an AMAZING job with this album, and I am eagerly looking forward to his next real album in 2010. GO DAVID!

This album is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful range of music from commercial to spiritual and with some lovely foreign tunes. Riu Riu Chiu is quite possibly my new favorite Christmas song, and David's rendition of What Child Is This is probably the best I've heard. David's sweet, clear voice is so perfect for Christmas music. The arrangements are beautiful, and David's voice is truly inspiring. This is a Christmas album that anybody could fall in love with.

Wow! David's voice gives me chills. Every year growing up my mom played Dean Martin's Christmas Wonderland album. This album from David is going to join that as a must play as we enjoy the holiday season. Not many can compete with Dean Martin's smooth voice but David definitely matches him. Thank you

This album is very good. His voice is so smooth.i am making a CD to play on christmas morning while everyone opens presents and i used most of these songs on it as well as some other great tradidtional christmas songs.I would recomend this to anyone for christmas.My CD idea is a good idea for some of you who want to add some extra christmas joy to your christmas morning, afternoon, night, whenever you open presents, just to listen to, or when you are just talking to family.

I'm a big fan of Christmas albums, and had never heard of David before buying this. (Sorry, David's publicity team.) So I approach "Christmas from the Heart" from a different perspective than many other buyers. It was terrific. David's voice is wonderful to listen to, fluid, very sophisticated and capable of subtle nuance. The orchestrations are always good, often rising to excellent. Moreover, this album never lets the arrangements get in the way of the songs. That is to say, "The First Noel" sounds like "The First Noel", rather than an interpretation of a melody originally based on "The First Noel". Strongly recommended, both to those people who'd like a Christmas album playing in the background, and to those willing to take the time to listen more carefully to thirteen well-made songs.

I don't know which song is my favorite because there is just too much to choose from. one i do recommend you is Pat-A-Pan. The rhythm is amazing and i love the end and how it sounds. It's a fun song. That sample thing doesn't really show the awesomeness. Yes, Riu Riu Chiu is in Spanish. I don't understand one word David is saying, but who cares, listen to him and how he sings his heart out in that song. Trust me, that song is amazing you have GOT to buy it. Don't look at the population. Listen to the sample and if that doesn't work, find it somewhere online and listen to the whole thing. You have to give every song a try. I bought it like a few days ago and i already played it 124 times! I bought the whole album and i didn't really like Riu Riu Chiu as much because i didn't listen to it all. then i did and it was one of my favorite favorite songs. Melodies of Christmas is also one of my favorite favorites. It talks about the wonderful melodies of Chritmas songs and Christmas memories. You should totally buy that one because David co-wrote it.

Archuleta's angelic voice is just the perfect match with these beautiful Christmas songs!! I can't stop humming along to them, a combination of familiar classics and new songs written by himself.. Wait no longer, get it!! Enough said. :)
