This is Macklemore at his best. His stuff with Ryan Lewis is great, but the newer stuff is starting to lean towards the mainstream. Buy this album, the entire 10-song Unplanned mixtape (or skip And We Danced and just get the other 9 songs) and the VS and VS Redux EP. Don't skip his first album, Open Your Eyes, which can be found under Professor Macklemore on Google. But on this album, each song has a unique beat and amazing, insightful lyrics by Macklemore and some guests, especially Xperience, who is featured both singing and rapping on a few songs. Macklemore might not rap like this again, so get it while you can so that you know what his abilities really are.

Macklmore is amazing but not very famous. He has some better songs to but not on iTunes.

Pretty legit album. Put this on your iPod and listen.

Okay, I am a HUGE fan of Macklemore. I'll admit, I first listened to The Heist (which is also perfection, check it out as well. You won't be disappointed). However, this album is 100% truth. It's absolutely great, every single song. Macklemore is the best, he's more than just Thrift Shop. GET THIS ALBUM. You will NOT regret it. 👌

I really enjoyed listening to this album and a couple of the songs have really stuck with me. In my opinion Inhale Deep is byfar the best song on the album but it seems to be slightly ignored. This is a nice change from the other rap/hip-hop out there and I encourage Macklemore to continue making great stuff happen. My onl complaint is that a lot of these tracks have too much similarity between them, and in some cases they sound the same. So I believe in order for him to be truely successful he has to bring a new approach and new feel to each song. Nonetheless, I would definitely reccommend purchasing this album or at least even a few of the songs.

Some of the best underground I have ever heard! Then to find out he's from my home town! He is fantastic!! If you like him, def check out atmosphere too. Love! Love! Love! Keep killen it!

awesome album, so happy iTunes got it

There aren't many albums that I can listen to from start to finish without skipping a few tracks, but this is one of them. I have love for many hip hop artists but Macklemore just hits the nail on the head every time. This album has it all, some quirky fun tracks, some political tracks, some tracks that document personal struggle. No matter my mood, I can put this on and feel better about life. Macklemore speaks the truth. He is honest, aware, and good at what he does. He is intricate, devoted, and loyal to the hip hop community. He keeps it true, gives credit where credit is due, and isn't afraid to criticize himself. Overall, a phenomenal album. I play it all the time for friends who are not hip hop obsessed like me and they leave wanting to buy it for themselves. It's a generous album with 18 tracks, so just bite the bullet and buy it. It will be worth every cent.

I wish he had mo songs on itunes tho

i liked the heist a lot, and i decided i wanted to get into some more macklemore. so i decided to download the language of my world. it is fantastic. my favorite right now is Fake I.D. also in White Privelage, i love the reference to Eminem, because he is one of my other favorite rappers along with Jay-Z. Get this!

i love macklemore's music. i have been consistantly rockin his music for several months now. not only is this album amazing but the town obviously and his new ep the vs. if you are in need of some truth, inspirational knowlege, sick lyrics and beets; then download his tunes however you can. its worth a good listen. i cant wait for some new music....i hope the wait is not long

I've seen macklemore twice now. He's gonna make it big if he makes the right choices in life. His musics got meaning. He's my favorite artist right now. This album is probably the best thing you can buy on Itunes right now. If you buy it you won't regret it!!

Macklemore is absolutely amazing. I don't know when there will be another album coming out but I can't wait to hear more. Unfortunately, those who don't live in Washington can't see him live so we just have this one album. I recommend it for all hip hop fans.

You can tell he's smart and creative. His lines are thought provoking, but sadly he suffers from white guilt to a point of detriment. In this sense, he preaches the same tired story of any middle class white kid from the burbs. Sob

Amazing stuff is coming from Macklemore.. he really is one of the best up and coming artists. I hope more people could enjoy his music the way I do. He's one great guy with some fantastic music who has a bright future.

All good except for my language

I'm into Alternative, Arcade Fire, Decemberists, MGMT, etc. So I was surprised that I reallyy reallyy like this album. I just bought like thirty macklemore songs. Great album.

His flow is real, and rhymes are solid, but the depth of his work is the real masterpiece. The industry benefits from an artist representing himself truthfully and addressing topics no one else will.

If you like The Heist you'll probably like thins album. Even if you don't, you'll be happy you bought it. Way better than the heist, especially the production.
