after listening all songs,I love this album.

A good first album. There is some variety. Sometimes bands like Nickleback put out an album and every song sounds similar. Hope on the next one to hear more of his incredible voice. He needs someone to write him some better than good tunes that can compete with Led Zeppelin.

I love this album! It's so eclectic and reflects Adam's diversity in his music styles!! I love every single song, which almost never happens. I truly believe there's something for everybody in this album!! And his voice is just gorgeous! <3 A definite must-have.

I'm a huge Adam Lambert fan, and this album is good but it could be better. He has such an edgy voice, that I think it would better suit a rock style instead of electro pop. Less pop, more rock! Still love ya Adam!

This young man continually astounds with his range of notes that he sings as if he were only using an octave!! This album is certainly not the "usual;" however, none of the songs that Adam sings can ever be considered average or usual. The mix of styles and again, the range of this man's voice can only be summed up as "absolutely fantastic."

It has been a long time since I've listened to an album where I can honesty say each and every track has captured my complete attention while listening. This album has it all - great dance music, rock, heart-pulling ballads, by a man with a voice that is pure gold. I hope to be listening to Adam for the next twenty years - and I truly believe he is the next superstar in the making. Bravo Adam!

Finally, music that is different but fantastic at the same time. This album is just something to spice up anyones music library and radio stations. I enjoy FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT, STRUT, IF I HAD YOU and MASTER PLAN -- But each and every other track is all amazing works and nothing falls short here! Good stuff Adam Lambert! Risky but atleast you have your own sound!

Does he actually have the talent to pull this off? Or wait, some other person wrote it, got the other artists involved, paid a bunch of studio musicians, and the record company promotes it. Formula for mass consumption! Hooray for Lambert. So original and talented. Burp!

I was a little skeptical but this is an amazing album and should surprise the masses. I hope the public gives it a try. Each single track could be released and hit the top of the charts. No matter was happened at the AMAs he is truly what American Idol is all about. Anyway grab this album and just Dance!

Best pop debut in the last twenty years. Easy. We got a front row seat to history. Hope what happened the other night doesn't overshadow this amazing release for too long.

This guy has got talent, but he needs some restraint. Upon listening to this first official, well funded collection, I'm left completely confused as to his identity as an artist. One minute he wails on some Queen riff, the next he dives into pre-manufactured Britney, then jumps back in the seventies emulating a weak Bowie-sound, and an even weaker Zeppelinesque arrangement on Soaked... then it's Gaga wannabe track, followed by a sudden switch into a Kim Wilde/Samantha Fox/Erasure 80s mode, but wait, while we're covering every decade, why not throw in some Robbie Williams-inspired arrangement in the mix? Did he miss a shot at any high pitched singer in there? Ah yes, a little Aerosmith-powered movie ballad to boot sounds like a good idea. But wait, shouldn't Sleepwalker be a Rihanna song if you cut out that 80s guitar solo? And Aftermath could be a Daughtry record with a slightly more grounded sound. Broken Open is reminescent of Mad World from Idol, and might be the best thing in there... but it's quickly followed by tracks that would better suit Kelly Clarkson or Pink. I had high hopes for Adam, but at the end of the day, it's all been done before and better. And I still have no clue who he is. All I know is that he sort of picked some sounds/songs off of everyone's who's hot on the radio and thrown in some 70s glam moments in there no doubt to warrant the outfits/make-up and outrageous behavior he's bound to show on televison. It just doesn't add up to a coherent album, though. If you want a good, well-done album full of hooks and great sounds by an American Idol alumni, go check out Blake Lewis' new record, Heartbreak on Vinyl. Much, much better.

The good is his voice is outstanding. The bad is maybe about 3 songs are actually worthy of my pocket money. Most of it is the typical 32-count techno stuff you can buy on aerobic music websites. The ugly is AI that expedites stardom and then expects these artists and/or song writers to come up with good quality music that is truly an expression of who they are all in less than a year's timeframe. Adam L's album and pre-manufactured image leads me to finally say lots of glam but little soul.

Adam Lambert's voice soars with beauty throughout this album. He is able to reach every note on a guitar according to mega-producer Rob Cavallo. I have played this cd numberous times now and love it more every time. I highly recommend this album.

its not bad but this whole techno poppy screeching sound doesn't suit him, i do like some of his music but this ablum seems like its wasn't any work he would do, its just most of these songs are horrid and he can do so much better

This album is great. I love the variety of songs. Adam Lambert has one of the best voices out there. He can, and has sung it all. There are few albums that I will say I like every song, but this is one of them.

I love the first Adam Album CD. All the songs are very very beautiful. The music, the beat the ballades song are such beautiful to. My favorite are * For Your Entertainment * my second are * Aftermath* I also really love *Whataya Want For me* finally I love all his songs on CD really. Congrat Adam for this beautiful special first Album!

Adam Lambert's long anticipated album was worth the wait and is an eclectic mix of pure ear candy from start to finish. His vocals are (as always) amazing as he proves on the beautifully haunting "Soaked", while hitting killer notes on "Pick U Up" and "Time for Miracles" which reminds me of why I fell in love with his voice on American Idol. "Down the Rabbit Hole" is a funky little addition to the deluxe album well worth the few extra dollars and has a vibe reminicint of his ingenious "Ring of Fire" on AI. This is a trip well worth taking.....the only downside....he left me hungry for more and now I have to wait again for the next installment. (And Adam, you rocked the AMA's, don't ever stop being who you are...a natural born preformer.)

Overproduced, unoriginal and uninspiring, For Your Entertainment is just that - a compilation of synthy, catchy pop focused tracks designed to entertain and make Lambert sound good, in much the same way as a kareoke hits album, something which makes absolutely no sense with an artist this vocally talented. Sadly, the album is just another mediocre attempt, a marketing scheme riding on Adam's popularity from the Idol shows, without any of the fire and edge that made him so popular in the first place.

One word is just enough: aaaaawesome!

Adams performances are great, but every song is perfectly unremarkable from a musical standpoint. The songs on the album covers many styles, and don't really do any very well. It might be worth one listen, probably not two. Save your money.

Every single song on this album takes you to a different place. The pacing is incredible, the writing is amazing and once again Adam Lamberts voice is astounding. This is the perfect blend of music for damn near anyone. His soaring high notes will leave you breathless and his unapologetic delivery will make you smile. This is one of the only albums I've listened to in the past 5 years or so that I know I will never get bored with. Every listen is a new adventure. BUY THIS, you will not be dissapointed.

When he performed his amazing rendition of Mad World by Tears for Fears I was stunned, heck even Simon was blown away, so much so that he gave Adam a standing ovation. During Adam's time on American Idol he performed some really good rock but he really killed it with this album. This album is all POP, I didn't want another freaking popstar to come out of American Idol I was looking for a Rock Star.

Finally someone who can sing and can entertained! I love ITune because I can buy different songs and mix and match singers and songs and have diversity on a CD. For Your Entertainment from Adam Lambert does not have a track that I don't like and enough variety on it to be exactly what I like: different styles, different moods, different voice style! Great job Adam! By the way, I loved the AMA performance!

Alright, so, i absolutely adore Adam Lambert's voice, no two ways about that. But, this isn't what i was expecting. I was expecting some hard-hitting, hard rock type music. I mean, obviously that's not really his nature, that's just what i thought was coming from him seeing as he excelled so well whilst singing hard rock songs. It just would have made more sense. He's still a brilliant musician.

Loved the sound on the album. He blends fun dance music with more than a touch of Rock. Freddy M would be proud!

I was a HUGE fan during AI but these songs just aren't as good! He needs to go back to the kinda of heavy metal type of music. The only GOOD song on this album is time for miracles.

Congratulations on exceeding my expectations with this outstanding debut . You managed to expertly distance yourself from the AI machine.......no kiddie pop for you! Catchy, suggestive dance music and brilliant ballads that just get better with each listen. Brilliant showing on American Music Awards as well.

This album has been on repeat on my ipod since I purchased it. It's long past time for a male artist like Lambert. The album listens like a great playlist of songs bringing together influences of rock, pop, funk, electronica into great mix that is immediately identifiable and totally addictive.

Adam has an amazing voice and has proved many times he can really belt out those notes. The album has a great varied style. Was very impressed with this and have recommended to many friends. I hope Adam does will in Oz and we get more singles and mixes.
