I used to be more excited about Madonna when she was more abstract & doing the show SHE WANTED to do rather than giving the audience what they wanted... I don't like being spoon fed. I like to use my brain when I see a show. The artist should make you think. Confessions was her best... it soars wAy above this show. It's like her whole goal was for it to be one of the biggest money making tours of all time..... congratulations you did it, Madonna, but by sacrificing your artistic integrity. Oh, and PLEASE stop yelling.... I get embarrassed for you when you do. Vogue was the standout for me, but the rest of the show was just OK. They left off the metal version of Hung Up on this cd which, for me, was the other great track. There were so many weird moments & weird choices of songs. Spanish Lesson is possibly the worst song of her entire career so why would she even perform it? Heartbeat is a good song, but not a great performance. Candy Shop opens like a Vegas show, The Beat Goes On could've been better & she really stunk up Human Nature this time around. 4 Minutes wasn't cool. La Isla Bonita again? Music again? Like A Prayer again? AND THE SAME VERSION OF RAY OF LIGHT AGAIN? I'm bored just writing about it. I'm so scared of this next rap album you are working on... I wish you would work with Mirwais again.

the way this album was recorded makes it worthless

I think this is one of Madonna's biggest concert tour in a long long time, with just 256'000 people of audience... WOW! The tracks are great, but I think some of the best are missing and some that were unnecesary were added to this live album like "You Must Love Me", "Spanish Lesson" and "Borderline"... I would prefer "Into the Groove" and also "Die Another Die" and "Like a Virgin"... besides those little things, it's and incredible and 100% worth album to buy... Enjoy it!

This is an amazing album! Now that iTunes has this and the live concert it would have been even cooler if they had a bundle like they did when they got the confessions tour. But hey, it's still really amazing to have an LP, and the 4 bonus tracks. So don't buy the CD version come here and buy the iTunes version!! Other things like the this version doesnt have all the music from the concert, yeah that maybe be but they did the same with the last 2 concerts to so....... get used to it! One more thing, THESE ARE ALL LIVE TRACKS, if you think other wise then maybe you need to get your hearing checked. (just saying) Otherwise please don't listen to some peoples negative reviews most of the time they have no idea what there talking about. This is an excellent LP and you need to check it out!

Where is the 'Die Another Day' Medley? Sigh...

I love M, I wish the vocals weren't polished here. I LOVE her voice completely live and raw! This doesn't sound like she sounded when I saw this show in NY, it's more closer to album vocals with live music. Particularly, Candy Shop, 4 Minutes, Give It To Me, and a few others. She has a powerful live voice and should be proud of it - een if it's not completely perfect because nobody is. I like it though..what the hell.

This album is awesome. "Like A Prayer" is amazing, along with "Vogue", "Beat Goes On" and "Borderline". The show was amazing to see live. I do really wish that "Into the Groove" had been included though. I am shocked that it wasn't considering what a high energy performance it was, both from Madonna and the audience. It is missing a few additional songs (Sweet Machine Intro, Die Another Day Intermission, Rain Intermission, Hung Up). Album is still worth every single penny.

I saw the show in Chicago on October 25th, 2008. It was amazing. I am thrilled to finally have this live collection. It takes me back... Can't wait for her new album later this year (as well as a new tour)

Ok, I will be the first to admit that the Confessions tour was better, but I am sorry for the people on here who seem intent on bashing Madonna instead of a helpful review of the album, Madonna is older now,she is a classic, a legend in pop music, and you should know by now, she isn't going anywhere except for having the most succesful concert tours ever, and selling out every arena, if you don't like her, don't listen to her, and it's funny how if this is "yesterdays tune for yesterdays folks" that every NEW artist out there would kill just even open for her show,or work with her, even todays youngest and hottest DJ's.For the record, I'll buy the blu Ray, cause I never listen to live recordings as much as the actual albums, it's just not the same if you are not watching it live, although a lot of the mixes are cool,So if you don't like her face or think she is old,don't listen, and waste your time on leaving a comment, unless you plan on giving an honest review of the music, that is why it is called a review.

The only thing im sad about is that she didnt put the rock virsion of "Hung Up" on this cd. Other than that there is no one better than Madonna. F*ck all the haters!!!

I was fortunate enough to have been in attendance at Madonna's L.A. stop at Dodger Stadium with special guests Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Without hesistation, i have to say her concert is the BEST concert I've ever been to, and I've been to many. Whether it was simply her star presence, or the fact that I grew up knowing all her music or the screaming 50,000 plus fans, Madonna delivered not just a concert, not just a great setlist of some of her many classics, but a night that up to this day I still cherish and remember as it were yesterday. It'd been soon after the divorce from her husband had been publicized, and rumors swirled that Alex Rodriguez was in the audience that night. Whether he was or wasn't, I'm not sure. But given whatever was going on in her personal life, Madonna's stage persona just came off like you'd expect it to be, like she just really doesn't give a ****. This tour, unlike a couple of her previous tours, was more focused on just having a great time, and not so much an underlying theme. Full of wonderful choreography, different outfit changes, and even a jumprope sequence, The Sticky and Sweet Tour was simply amazing and worth every cent. To be able to own it now may not be the same as being in the audience again, front and center, but it definitely comes close.

I am not really a fan of her music. I have CONFESSIONS ON A DANCE FLOOR and HARD CANDY and I've never really listened to any of them. I bought this album after seeing a performance of VOGUE. Thus far, I am pleased and HUMAN NATURE and VOGUE remain my favorites!! Would have gotten five stars but I did some research and some of the songs in the setlist were left out of the iTunes version.

I know Madonna's a classic and everything, but SHE CAN'T SING! At all! Just listen to Human Nature and you'll agree. I'm sorry, but her time has passed. And leave the cussing to the MCs! Madonna, you have a lot of fans, but just go already!

Finally an entire Madonna concert on CD. All performed tracks on tour. Fantastic. Madonna is the ultimate pop music ICON. Can't wait for the nest tour. Madonna gives the best concerts, fact!

But where is the live version of 'Into The Groove'? That was my favorite update of one of her classics on this last tour.

Not a good live album at all. The sound mix is terrible. The songs are poorly performed. Madonna's voice is not up to par in this one. Sounds like a cheap recording. Don't waste your money on this junk.

yesterday's tunes for yesterday's folks.

... because it's Madonna, and she's the best, and the production here is exquisite. But i have to agree with an earlier review: why don't they just put the entire concert on the I-Tunes LP? I could live without the Get Stupid Medley- but i am having a hard time without the live version of Miles Away (the best song on Hard Candy IMO). I'd like to grab the audio right off the concert film and put that on my I-Pod, the whole concert, start to finish. I don't like this trend that started with the Confessions Tour audio releases. But I love Madonna, so i'll take what i can get. When i want to hear Miles Away, i'll just have to watch it! Madonna, come on girl- we're ready for the next one, so please get busy! Seeing this show again just makes me want more, more, MORE MADONNA!

What's the point of "live" CD if most of her vocals were re-recorded in post production??? So what exactly is live? the crowd I'm afraid...

Where is Into the Groove...i was waiting for this because I LOVE the version of Into the Groove she performed during sticky n sweet...and its not included...such a disappointment...other than that I love it...

i really wanted to love this album! i love madonna and thoroughly enjoyed the confessions tour album but this one somehow falls a little flat. obvious standouts are Vogue and Music but everything else seemed to be missing something. it doesn't help either that this iTunes LP version doesn't have the video of the tour. i'm sure seeing the dances and costumes will make a difference. one thing i really don't like is when she screams/wails in some of the songs, it's just annoying!

A great, great collection of remastered and redesigned hits and live versions of new songs. Some of the vocals are overproduced, but they are her live vocals that are cleaned up a bit. I think that's fine, given how good she sounded live (I saw it), but I always prefer the raw vocals and raw crowd like the Girlie Show Tour, no matter how rough she sounds sometimes. That's what you get when an artist actually jumps all over the STAGE and sings live :)

This show is completely edited. When I saw her in Boston, she didn't sound like any of these tracks. Some of the performances were fantastic, others are ok. This is not her best work at all. I hate the guitar during every other song. Don't get me wrong I Love Madonna but this was my least favorite concert.

And for a good reason! I'm honored to have been able to see this amazing show live in Atlantic City back in November of 08. Madonna is amazing, and knows most definitely how to put on a show. LOTS of favorite moments during the show but my most favorite would have to be "Human Nature", what another great collab between two of the biggest pop icons, and what a great message behind the performance! So looking forward to the next tour!

I loved this album and so happy it almost the full concert all on audio. I am fine without the interludes, but I would of like "Hung Up" to of been the bonus track and not "Ray of Light". I like "Ray of Light" but I feel it is a little played out and nothing new in the concert. "Hung Up" was revised as a rock version and I would of loved to have that. Over all, a great buy and have already listen to it 3 times today.

She is past her prime Madonna when r u going to retire? As for lady gaga She is probalby the best thing in the pop genre bc she stands out on a sea of terrible singers ( Justin boober is one of them) I'm not her biggest fan but it's pretty obvious that she has talent, in fact she probalby made a lady gaga vacumm and that's probalby why everyone else in the pop genre lacks talent For Madonna not a fan ( tried listening to samples) ugh I didn't like them

Finally, after waiting over a year since the concert, the actual thing is released. I wish all the songs were included from 08 and 09. I have never been so impressed with a concert in my life, the queen definetly proved herself big time, the concert was the best I have ever seen, full of energy, excitement, and excellent setlist. There is still nothing like feeling the energy of a crowded stadium dancing and singing a Madonna classic. I brought some non-madonna fans with me to the concert, you managed to make them into some of your biggest supporters. We love you Madonna, thank you.

Still and always the Queen of Pop!!!! This is a prime example as to why Madonna has the mist successful tour of any solo artist.
