I've listened to a lot of live music, and this is by far one of the greatest I have ever heard. The sombreness of the music, the emotion in every word, the sound quality are all astounding. If you like Alice In Chains just for their metal sound, then you may not like this album. But if you like them for their songs and their acoustic EPs, the you'll LOVE this. Either way, you should buy it, because you'll hear all your favourite songs in a way you never thought imaginable, and it will be amazing.

Listened to this cd in my youth probably 1000 times. great CD. Down in a hole is the heat. Why cant we have bands like this today?

I picked up this CD at a local record shop about a year ago. As I write this review, I listen to the melodic lines of Layne Staley's vocal work and Jerry Cantrell's acoustic guitar. This album is a steal at only $9.99. The music has a replay value of exponential proportions! Any Alice In Chains lover will tell you this is some of their finest work. If you are not a completionist, at least pick up: "Angry Chair" "Rooster" "Down In A Hole" "Nutshell" "No Excuses"

I recently got back into Alice in Chains, after a friend played this album, I had only ever listened to the studio versions of these songs. But man this album blew me away. The vocals and playing are so raw yet beautiful. I recommend this to anyone that likes real, good, music. A steal of a deal. Get this, you won't be sorry.

This album never fails to weave new worlds in my mind. Sitting back, with my headphones on and a glass of wine in my hand, I take a trip to the unknown every time I press play.

This is so... relaxing, melodic, and soothing to my ears. I could listen to this album the whole way through, and not skip a song. It's that great! It's worth your money, so don't hesitate to get it, it's Alice In Chains. Everything they do is magnificent!
