Any music by Hans Zimmer is just awesome! Check out all of his other soundtracks too! You will be glad you did! grins, Nita
Hans Zimmer has composed some brilliant works. But this beats anything he or anyone else has done. He has the knack to create harmony between the soft and peaceful music and the loud and exhilarating music. Hands down, Hans Zimmer has done it again. Oh, also, buy the Final Charge. It's a seperate album, it too is wonderful.
The music is absolutely amazing! Out of my whole library of soundtracks this one is my favorite. Powerfull and full of emotion. Each song brings out the heart of the movie alive. Buy the whole album on this one. You wont regret it.
This is my favorite soundtrack. It truly evokes the spirit of the Samurai.
Then you should like this. Listen and you will hear undershadows of Gladiator and similar if not the same line builds.
the songs all showed amaizing power, but were more or less all the same. thumbs up. ****
when i first saw this movie i just loved the music and the movie.
This is a beautiful album. Relaxing, a good combination of driving themes and soft melodies that literally can soften your soul for a moment. Zimmer is a great composer. My favorite track is "A Hard Teacher," two combined melodies that just whisk your personal troubles out of the way, and puts you in that remote village in Japan while meditating. Alot of these tracks can also inspire you to become "Asian" in work-ethic and concentrate harder. Great album that can help you concentrate and relax at the same time.
Wow...the most incredible soundtrack I have ever listened to. This is one of those cds that gives you goosebumps everytime you listen to it and is also one of those cds that you can't get enough of. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who enjoys quality music.
I love just sitting back and listening to this
Hanz Zimmer did a good job with this soundtrack. The mood throughout the album relates very well to the movie. While there are no real words in the entire album, the volume is not consistent enough for background music. I do think it was better suited to the movie then the real world, but overall I would still rate this an excelent album
One of Zimmer's best, the best of his pounding music and a combination of Asian strings, simply awesome, one of my favorites and I have 10 of his soundtracks
Emotional, extremely powerful, brilliant. Hans Zimmer is one of the best.
This soundtrack really speaks to me. If you liked the movie, then ou'll love this soundtrack. THE BEST!
Hans Zimmer shows why he is a top composer of Movie productions today. The entire album is incredible and my personal favorite Soundtrack of all time. The movie was great, but the soundtrack really made most of it. Just great.
This is probably the most emotional and beautiful soundtrack ever composed...a must for soundtrack collectors or asian music fans.
first of all let me start off by saying he is the carlos mencia of the film score world, if you dont know what that means, it means that just as mencia steals other peoples jokes he steals music. he takes other people's crap changes the tempo and and a few notes then calls it his own. not to mention that this is such a weak score anyways. i am ashamed that people accept this and dont open their mouths and speak up about it. not to mention the song "taken" could be used in batman begins ( which zimmer also co-wrote which makes him even more of a moron cuz now that means he cant even change his own crap). i loved the movie hated the score. WRITE YOUR OWN CRAP!!!
Hans Zimmer was robbed of an Oscar. Period. A Way of Life is the epitome of tranquility.
It's a brilliant album, reminds me of the movie alot. If your the type of person that likes listening to soundtracks, then definantly get this one.
this is i think one of Hans best work, as the music touches you, and helps u feel as the music is played. i give this 4 thumbs up if i had that many thumbs. this is 5 start rated music. Congradulations Hans.
This is a brilliant soundtrack. The individual tracks are tremendous, and moreover, it flows very nicely from track to track. Note that because the entire thing is instrumental, it is particularly well-suited to serve as background music for reading or studying. I can't recommend an album more highly.
Whenever I see a movie with a soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, I know that the movie is gonna be good. This man is amazing when it comes to soundtracks
Without a doubt, one of Hans Zimmer's best work! His music is deep, romantic, and powerful. Simply breathtaking! If you enjoyed the movie, you will enjoy this score.
This album is amazing, I love to hear the music being produced by Hanz Zimmer. He is such an incredible artist and I love how he brings in different instruments critical to the time period in which the movie takes place. For example, The Last Samurai incorporates traditional Japanese drums.
This is some of Hans Zimmer's best work. The themes are bold and the compositions take you through the full spectrum of emotions. Unlike most soundtracks, these pieces stand on their own If you enjoy this work, you may also want to listen to Hans' collaboration with James Newton Howard on the "Batman Begins" soundtrack, which is dark and brooding, but also has pieces that are tender and introspective. Truly some of his finest work.
This is one of the best soundtracks out there, fully capturing the emotion and power of the film. Simply amazing.
the best music ive heard in a long time
Fan of the movie or not, this is a score not to be missed. The tracks move along in a suite-like manner, and function perfectly as a work in and of themselves. As a soundtrack it is the perfect compliment to a beautiful movie. One of my favorite cd purchases of all time.
This is one of the few soundtracks that I still can't get enough of. The music by Hans Zimmer is just amazing, and hits emotional strings that were touched upon in the movie. Wow, this soundtrack is too good.

This is a fantastic score for a fantastic movie — it captures the depth and meaning of the movie with its melancholic yet spirited compositions in a way that only Mr. Zimmer can. 10/10.
