This is a good album I had been waiting for it,but I thought it be better. I don't really like the people featuring in it because I have never herd of them except a couple but check it out there are good songs on it.

Some people think LASERS is mainstream for Lupe, but ya know even Lupe's mainstream stuff is 100x better than anyone else's mainstream stuff. This album is chill.

This album is not bad...but it's not Lupe. It's Atlantic with Lupe's vocals. Lupe definitely did his thing but what I want to know is why Atlantic took a BEASTLY lyrical rapper...and applied the pop music model to his style?? They need to let Lupe be Lupe...not a generic pop artist. I'm just glad Lupe stuck to doing him even though Atlantic tried to "improve" him. Looking forward to that "Friend of the People" mixtape and "Food and Liquor II."

Admirable depth and intellect in his verses. Combined with great beats and vocals. A breath of fresh air that good music doesn't have to accompany excessive cursing or drug references.

lupe is the man this album is insane

Lyrically... Lupe is a BEAST!! Production-wise: Very good!!! Musical composition wise... basic: (16 bar rap)-(Chorus)-(16 bar Rap) - (Chorus)... ad nauseum. There are a couple of cuts on the album that break this trend with an abbreviated Vamp/Bridge, but not many( Words I Never Said & Out Of My Head). I do not regret buying the album but I just wish Lupe could get with a good composer for his next project. Lupe Laces Lots of Lavish Loquacious Licks & Lyrics both Likable & Lasting. Lets Long for a Lasting Legacy Laudable of his coLLoquial Skill.

Obviously any diehard Lupe fan can feel Atlantic's hands all over this album. With the exception of Lupe slapping the hands away and doing his own thing on each track. It sounds like Lupe and Atlantic finding middle ground. I bought this album because like many fans, we grew old waiting for it to drop. The album sounds like Lupe with a modern mainstream twist on a few tracks. Other tracks felt true to who we know he is. You should buy this album because Lupe Fiasco deserves a reward for all the toil, pain and tears he went through to bring this album into existence. I believe this album has the potential to go Platinum. Help LASERS go Platinum and download it legally.

Best album out right now

In this album Lupe Fiasco is reminding us of the troubles around the world in wars, segregation and other things but he says united we can overcome these. That is what Lasers is about, Love always shines: Even in the darkest times love is still out there. Everyone remember 2 smile: He is being optomistic telling us to keep going with our lives. Lupe this is one hell of an album and you teach this world a huge lesson. Keep doing what your doing my friend you have gone into the rap game and completely changed it. Your the best of the best.

First of all, I'd like to say screw you, Atlantic Records. For the "real" Lupe fans that are referring to him as a sell out, take this idea into perspective: Although the annoying and redundant mainstream sound of some of these songs are resented by those of us who aren't "bandwagon" fans, hopefully it will catch the eyes of many others who only know of Lupe Fiasco from his "Kick Push." My theory is that Lupe agreed to make this album partly to Atlantic's standards because he realized that once the Lil Wayne or Gucci Mane listeners were exposed to meaningful, clever lyrics (as opposed to the disgusting analogies about sex, drugs, and cars radio-listeners are used to) that his fan base would sky rocket from him being underrated to a household name. Hopefully this album will get the trash off the radio and allow for this lyrical genius to do things the Lupe-way next time around. Although "LASERS" isn't quite on par with the albums that preceded it, this album is still immensely qualified as album of the year. Very few rappers can f*** with Lupe Fiasco.<3 yaa Lupe

I've never been a huge hip-hop/rap fan but once I heard one song from the album I didn't hesitate to buy the full album. All the songs are similar bur I think thats what gives it duh quality. Lupe had definitely become one of my favorite artists!!!
