When I first saw that there was a new wu tang album coming out, my first reaction was; "Oh dear lord help us." Don't get me wrong. I love the Wu, but in the last few years it seems that they have gone through a certain phase of... inactiveness. What projects they did were poorly done/sloppily put together. Raekwon's mixtape "Coke Up in da Dollar Bill" was sloppy. "Wu Massacre" was poor-bad beats with mediocre rap. So you could understand why I had some nasty premonitions about this project. How wrong I was. This is a fully fledged Wu Tang effort (minus the GZA (WHYYYYYYYY??????????) Mastah killah and ODB (RIP)). The lyrics are superb, the beats are driving and melodic, and overall this has the Wu energy of old. It does not quite match up with the 36 Chambers, but that is one of the classics of rap. Overall a 5/5 rating for the Wu on this wonderful effort.

What can I say...The Clan is back in full effect, great album for true hip hop fans. Highly recommend this!

This album is Okay with moments of Wu's old greatness shining through. However, if you look at all of your old Wu-Tang Clan albums, you'll notice the absence of the word "Clan" from the front of this one. That's because this is just one of many of Wu Tang Clan's brand extensions. Maybe that is why GZA doesn't appear?

I think the Clan set the bar a bit high in the form of the greatest hip-hop album of all time with Enter the 36 so we feel let down when the next banga' can't measure up. This is the nicest they've come in a while,,,I'm diggin' it. There will never be another 36 Chambers but this album is still better than 90% of the wackness out there today.....recognize,

I have been an avid listener for Wu-Tang clan for a long time, and this does not disappoint. Granted, it's no 36 Chanbers, but it's still very good, the production scream wu-tang, and the lyrics and rhymes are great. Kudos to you, Wu-Tang.

Wu used to be all great all the time, but they started putting out everything they record and there albums started being bad/ok. this is great and the wu is back with a nice album.
