- Amazing

This is probably the best CD ever made. The heavier moments such as dark horses and afterlife are amazing, but the quiet parts like souvenirs and where I belong are also inspiring. Another great album from Switchfoot. Hello Hurricane live is cool too.

- Beast

This album is a BEAST of one. Pretty dam good. Thankyou Switchfoot for these epic songs. one thing i would like to see in the futur is the rest of the live concert, i feel like i need to hear the rest so Switchfoot if you read this please know people will want the rest of the live concert.

- I love Switchfoot <3

I went to see them the night of the release of Vice Verses, they were magnificant :). I went with my youth group and the way back to the bus we see Switchfoot walking on the other side and we said hello and they're just really amazing and inspiring !

- Buy. Now.

Read title above.

- Best Yet

This album is absolutely amazing! How could you get Switchfoot any better than this? The song vice verses always brings tears to my eyes, the most well written song on the whole album. Jon's writing is at it's best, and thrive could be my favorite song. Over all, Switchfoot has not disappointed, and you will not find lyrics and music any finer than this!

- Really good band. Makes u think about life

Really good band. Clean music with good verses

- Great, great album!

I was surprised with Switchfoot's last record (Hello Hurricane)… But VICE VERSES broke all my expectations!! Solid set of music! Highly recommended!

- Keeps Getting Better and Better...

I remember getting 'Oh Gravity' as a birthday present about six years back, and I remember liking it. I remember buying 'Hello Hurricane' and loving it. And now, it seems, Switchfoot has given me an album to fall in love with again.

- Incredible

Jon has always been soul-searching, honest, and poetic, but there's a lyrical consistency throughout this album I haven't seen since The Beautiful Letdown. "The Legend" grows!

- Awesome album

definitely worth buying one of the best albums this year!!

- Can't stop listening to this album!

I wasn't blessed w a gift like Jon to write such beautiful words. If I was, I would write the most amazing review describing just how great this album truly is. For all you long time Switchfoot fans like myself, you will love hearing similar melodies and verses from way older albums. I love it! I love that's it's been since 96' and they are still around and strong making such inspiring music!!! I'm so proud of them, all the guys are such wonderful people. I love what they stand for!!! Their music is healing and powerful and this album is moving! Jon I've met you twice and can never find the words to tell you just how I'm thankful I am that you are who you are and that you do what you do. Even though you feel "stretched thin" sometimes Jon, don't, your fans are so grateful for you've given us such a wonderful gift everyday when we listen to your words. Thank you Switchfoot!!!! Can't wait for many more albums!!!

- BEST band in the world by far!! :)

Coming from Switchfoot's BIGGEST fan this album is amazing and I've loved them since their first album. You guys are the greatest band in the world! I LOVE SWITCHFOOT AND THIS ALBUM IS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! Love every song on here!

- Awesome

This is by far one of their greatest albums. totally worth every cent.

- Truly epic

Vice Verses is rivaling Hello Hurricane in my mind right now. I'm loving Jon's harsh sarcasm in Selling the News and the heartfelt, contemplative way Souvenirs is sung, like the page of a diary. I believe Hello Hurricane still is better, but I won't judge the awesomeness of this album on that of the last. One last thing: what is up with The Original? That's the one song I really dislike on this album. It's so ridiculous it made me simultaneously laugh out loud and cringe. Aside from that, though, I love this album.

- Amazingly Fabulous!!

Oh my goodness!! This cd is fabulous! I love Switchfoot so much! They are amazing! This cd's sound is so different than any other Switchfoot cd yet, but at the same time it's so similar. It's fabulous!!!

- Best Album

This is the best switchfoot album yet I can't get enough of it!!!

- They're back!

They're singing my life again.

- Not really an intertwined album

I agree that all of the songs are different and I believe his writing style has changed but how can you go from "I still believe we can live forever" in Afterlife to "Nothing lasts forever" in Souvenirs? Kind of switching between two different controversial theories

- Way Too Good

This album was way too good. Kudos to Switchfoot. I swear I almost cried for "Souvenirs" and "Where I Belong." I can't wait for the "Fading West" movie that Switchfoot is producing and writing the soundtrack for.

- BLOWN AWAY! :)

i have liked this band since "dare you to move" and "meant to live." but dark horses and restless.....oh goodness they are geniuses! i have never heard such a beautifully arranged album. they are soooo underrated! go SwItChFoOt!

- Amazing but not their best...

Switchfoot is unbeatable but this album isn't nearly as good as Hello Hurricane.

- The best since "Nothing is Sound"

I'm not going to lie, Hello Hurricane was by far my least favorite Switchfoot album to date. I'm also not a fan of The Beautiful Letdown. But let me tell you something, this album brings back everything that Hello Hurricane missed out on, and there's barely a hint of that immature punk-rock sound of The Beautiful Letdown. Vice Verses is funky, loud, intense, truthful, and unique. It is everything we have come to expect from Switchfoot and more. This may be their best work yet, although Nothing is Sound and Learning to Breath are both fighting for the lead as well. You should buy this album. =)

- Solid Music

I'd say this is switchfoot's second best album after The Beautiful Letdown, which is very hard to beat. This album has some great songs, my favorites are Where I Belong, Souvenirs, Dark Horses, Afterlife, The War Inside, and Restless. Where I Belong is definitely my favorite out of these. I only wish the album had a little bit more of an intimate and possibly acoustic feel to it. I feel like this, being very mainstream, has less of a personal feel to it like The Beautiful Letdown. Its still a great album that is worth buying!

- Vice Verses

SwitchFoot Amazing

- A Great New Album!

The album has a lot of character, gimmicks, kick and twist which is unique and what more can I say it's A Great New Album. Congratulations Switchfoot!

- Awesome

Just Awesome!!!

- Legit

I was expecting just any other normal release by Switchfoot... not exceptional, just another one to add to the collection. But that is not how this album turned out. I love it because there is such a diversity of music in the album but you can still make out the "Way of the Switchfoot" in every song... good job!

- Great songwriting!

Jonathan Foreman is truly one of the best songwriters of our generation. This could be the best album they've ever released!

- a great addition

This record has clear and focused melodies. The up tempo songs are perfect for rocking out and the low tempo ones are perfect for a rainy day and relaxing

- I love love switchfoot

Switchfoot this is your best album yet you guys are the bomb. Whenever I listen to your songs I always end singing to. I also know how to play mess of me on the drums your drummer rocks!!!!long live switchfoot

- Switchfoot riding their biggest wave by far right now

This album goes way beyond this band previous efforts and that is saying quite a bit when looking through their accomplishments to date. Foreman and the band have scaled deep inside for some lyrical and philosophical introspection that surpasses even great bands of this genre such as even the great U2. Musically they have moved further from the easy and ancedotal. The recordings are superior with a great amount of sonic highs throughout. Buy it or your friends will way before you. This is an awesome and long awaited deep work of Switchfoot.

- Great!

Love it!

- Worst Switchfoot album yet

However, still in top 20 of all time, in my humble opinion. The tracks you need to have are Vice Verses, Where i Belong, Selling the News, and Dark Horses. After that nothing excites me, still blows the competition out of the water for this year just with 4 songs, that have the quality of Swithfoot's old albums...

- Took Me a Few Times

When I first listened to Vice Verses I didn't really like it. I thought a few of the songs, such as "Afterlife", "Selling The News", and "Where I Belong", were really good but it was a different album than what I expected. After listening to the album several more times, I have grown to love it. The dynamics in the songs are amazing, especially in "Where I Belong". There are several good rock songs: "Afterlife", "Dark Horses", and "The War Inside"." The album has many catchy choruses. It is a different type of Switchfoot album but the different is a good type of different. This group of rockers has grown so much, musically, and is never disappointing. I have seen several of their concerts and most recently (yesterday) went and saw them live in San Francisco at the Warfield. Their concerts are some of the best I have ever seen because they sound great live and interact with the crowd. Switchfoot keeps getting better and better and the lyrics are never lacking in meaning. "I still believe we can live forever"

- Amazing!!

This is a great album all together and it may even be the best one yet!! Keep up the good work!!

- The Epic Return...

Switchfoot has officially stormed back into the music scene, and after the success of some of the Hello Hurricane singles it's no wonder why. But this album is even better, the writing is unapologetic and incredibly original, not to mention far better than 90% of what's on the top of the charts these days. I keep on hearing people saying "Switchfoot is gonna be the next U2"... I'd say they already are. With Jon's soulful lyrics and passionate vocals and the rest of the bands outstanding performances they already possess much of the qualities of U2, and yet Switchfoot has so many unique qualities of their own. Also, on this record Jon seems to have finally "found his voice" and is stretching his vocals in new ways. Great job guys!

- So beautiful

Great Christiam music. Very uplifting

- How many people need to say it to get the point across?

Lets try one more. This cd is fantastic. Buy it if you love Switchfoot, buy it if you don't. They have presented themselfs in a way that is so Switchfoot but yet a few of their songs don't even sound like them. IE selling the news sounds a lot like a Rise Against with their own mix. Bravo people please support these guys.

- Perfection

Switchfoot has done it again - Vice Verses is an absolute masterpiece! I cannot quit listening to it. Even if you haven't been completely sold on any of their albums since The Beautiful Letdown, I REALLY encourage you to fall back in love with them through this album! It is a true musical form of Art, with a new sound fans old and new will appreciate.

- The Evolution of a Great Band...

My brother calls me today and says, "Dude, you've gotta hear the new Switchfoot." I obeyed. :) I've been listening to Switchfoot since the beginning and it's been interesting to watch them grow and change, but I have found it interesting that for quite a few albums, the lyrics of their songs have been along the "this world is not our home" tone. I point that out because I get the sense with this album that something has shifted for them... the very first song (which is an unbelievably catchy tune that makes you want to crank the sound system) claims, "Why would I wait 'til I die to come alive?" The best album I've heard in many, many years.

- Switchfoot.....

...is amazing -listens to dark horses- is my fav song...

- AMAZING

I have been a switchfoot fan for sometime. I am allways blown away with the depth and talent that Jon Foreman has at songwriting. Vice Versus does not dissapoint. It is a fantastic CD. Possibly their best to date. Give it a listen it will blow you away

- nice!

Luv it!

- Amazing

Amazing

- Wow Blows the mind

This and nothing but sound are my favorite aulbums. This. is. good. music. Amazing. Defintley one of there top aulbums and maybe even the top.

- I love Switchfoot!

They have a totally new sound, compared to Oh! Gravity or The Best Yet. The album is awesome and my favorite song is Vice Verses. It's awesome, but I wish they could tour in New York.

- Thanks

Thanks for the music. Inspiring, Thoughful, catchy, creative, fresh. I have been listening non stop

- Ok...but where's the rock?

First of all I just wanted to say that I have been a huge Switchfoot fan since middle school when their Beautiful Letdown album came out. They hooked me with the amazing rock sound with the christian messages. I think this album was a letdown. I had been waiting forever for this one to come out. I heard Dark Horses and decided to buy it. When I got my hands on the entire album, I was disappointed. There are some great songs on this cd, but I miss the more hard-rock Switchfoot. In my opinion, they are trying to fit in with everything else that's out now, and that's not who Switchfoot is! They have their own unique sound, and I feel they are leaning away from who they are as a band.

- Masterpiece!

A very very good album!

- Vice verses :)

Finally I get to hear the studio vice verses and thrive. Maybe their best album to date

- Cool Sound

Switchfoot has gone above and beyond.

- Amazing

another brillaint and well made album by switchfoot. Amazing band, and without doubt, my favorite.
