Nickelback have out done themselves! This album is truly one of their best, I'm in love with it! I couldn't stop listening to When We Stand Together, it's such an amazing song with an incredible message. I can't wait for their next album, and until that comes out I won't stop listening to this!

Look, this band has been making good music since their first album. I however am a bigger fan of this album and the last two albums before it. But I still like everything they've made before. But this album has lived up to the last two so far. There's something that always makes me buy their music. And that's hard for a band to do when I pick music because at certain moments when on iTunes or in an f.y.e CD store, I can be particular about what I buy. Not a problem with that if you're talking about this band. They're phenominal, there's just no doubt about it at all.

Truly amazing, Nickelback is one of the only bands who doesn't write there songs about cheesy break-ups. People who say they will never change are lovesick kids. Keep going!

For everyone who "says Nickelback produces the same thing over and over again" your morons. Of you compare ANYTHING off this album to ANYTHING off of "Curb" they sound NOTHING alike. If your comparing this to there previous album "Dark Horse" then yes they will sound similar because there only one album apart but they still sound different. It isn't fair to judge a band based on there past one or two albums. Like is said "Here and Now" and dark horse my sound similar but dark horse was much heavier then this album, here and now is lighter as a whole, all the right reasons was heavier then dark horse, the long road was like alternative metal heavy, silver side up was like country and the state & curb are like grunge. All there albums are different.

All awesome except this means war has trouble playing after a while

I usually love Nickelback I love Chad's voice and the music is great but this album just didn't do anything for me hopefully next time Nickelback puts an album out it will sound more like their old stuff.

It was a pretty good album but what happen to the old nickelback I really liked the albums like All the Right Reasons and Silver Side Up why can't they go back to that kind of stuff?

Here's the breakdown for the songs: 1) This means War-Great Opening to a great album. You can feel the band rocking out to Chad's lyrics, especially when he says: "YOU SHOULDN'T BRING A KNIFE TO AN ALL-OUT GUN-FIGHT". (Favorite line in the song). 5/5 2) Bottoms Up-Boy, I tell you. I find it FUNNY that I CAN'T STAND what this song is about, BUTT it's also FUNNY that I CAN'T HELP MYSELF to rocking out everytime I play this song. 5/5. 3) When We Stand Together-This song EXCEMPLIFIES what the world today & what the world in general SHOULD BE LIKE. Everyone on Earth getting along, & most importantly, NO ACTS OF VIOLENCE SOLVE ANYTHING. 5/5 4) Midknight Queen-Obviously, it's Nickelback, so it wouldn't be a NB album without a little bit of PROVOCIDIVNESS (If that's a word). Because its NickelBack, I'll give it a 5/5 because I don't know a band that would be better with ACT-OUT in a song. 5) Gotta Give Me Some-Just as good as Midknight Queen, but seems to missing something. 4/5 6)Lullaby-Personally, MY FAVORITE SONG on this album. Had this been on previous album(s), I WOULD'VE HATED IT. Butt, as NB has changed, I've learned to change "with the band", have come to LOVE the song. (IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MUSIC VIDEO, WATCH IT). 5/5 7)KISS IT GOODBYE-Possibly, No, THIS IS THE WORST SONG ON THE ALBUM. WOULD GIVE IT A 0/5, BUT OUT OF THE RESPECT THAT I HAVE FOR NICKELBACK, I'LL GIVE IT A 2/5!!! 8)Trying Not To Love You-(In my opinion), there are only 3 songs on this album in which I feel attached to the song while listenning to Chad & the guys rock-out. This is 1 of them. 4/5! 9)Holding On To Heaven-Seriously, if there was ever a "turning point" when listenning to this band, THIS IS IT. The post-grunge band that gave us song like "How You Remind Me" & "Too Bad" is offically gone. Even though THAT BAND is gone, I CAN'T WAIT for other HITS like this from this amazing band. Give it 5/5. 10)Everthing I Wanna Do-THIS is Every Guys FAVORITE FANTASY. (BEING A MERCY OF A BEATIFUL WOMEN WHO WILL DO EVERYTHING THAT THE GUY WANTS TO DO!!! Give it a 5/5!!! 11)Don't Ever Let It End-This is the KRAPPY PART of the album. In this song, you can "feel" the emotion to the conclusion of this amazing album. It almost feel like Chad is saying: "Don't Ever Break-Up this amazing experience that He gets to share w/ Ryan, Michael, & Daniel as they travel up & down the roads together!!! Well, that's it for the album. All I can to the guys is....CONGRATS. CONGRATS ON MAKING THEIR 7TH ALBUM, & CONGRATS ON ALL OF THE PAST & THE SOON-BE FUTURE SUCCESS. CAN'T WAIT NUMBER #8!!!!

How can you not like these guys? Great music .. high energy or mellow feel good .. you get it all. Another great album .. one of if not the best live show you will ever see ... cant wait for the next one !!

Best album yet

I was kind of disappointed with this album because I love Nickelback, but i really only liked a few of the songs on here. While others just sounded computerized. My favorites songs are lullaby and when we stand together there are a few others but not worth remembering.

I went from rap to rock cuz of this band. They also killed the album with variation in mood, topic, and over all feeling. This fast flow with a powerful beat mixes great with the lyrics. This band knows what they're doing.

I'm absolutely in love with this whole album! Nickelback has easily become my favorite band over the past few months! Hope they continue to make more great songs! :)

I am a huge nickelback fan but there needs to be just a few more hardcore songs. Split it 50/50 half hardcore half soft. This means war is the best song ever! Here and now is the best album ever!! NICKELBACK IS THE BEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!

I love Nickelback and I love this Album!!!!

If you are into heavy metal than this album will be on your christmas list, but if like me, you like to understand what the singer is singing and bop along than turn away now. You can still hear very easily that it is nickelback, but it has nothing on their last 2 cds. I was sad to hear this as I though I was going to ahve another great one to add to the playlists.

This album took a while for me to get into, but once I had heard every song, albeit, around 5-6 times each, I found that Nickelback hadn't lost there touch. They are not "wannabee" Rick artists, they ARE Rock artists. They may not play the likes of heavy metal, but I think yet have a style that everyone can appreciate. As the generations continue, Nickelback has adapted to compete with new music genres and titles and artists, and I believe that they have done this quite successfully. They have now released 7 studio records, and been together for about 13 years. The Beatles only made it to 8 years. I believe that this album has been the best work from them since Dark Horse. Their albums keep getting better. Well done, guys, next time you're in Aus, I'm there!!

This wasnt quite as good as dark horse but it is still an untouchable album compared to all the average music going around at the moment. It'll still be stuck on repeat on my ipod for a looooong time!

Nickelback have not made a great album sense the long road album. The first single stopped me from buying the album on the fact that it sounds like it comes from ageing rockers that are desperate to make an album cause they are running out of money. They will always have there diehard fans that will buy any album they make good or bad. Listen to the long road album then to this album and tell me if it is a good.

I really like their early stuff from 2000-03 and I think people are a bit too harsh on "all the right reasons" & "dark horse" because those albums were still pretty good. This album is just terrible! "when we stand together" is the most boring, repetitive song and sounds exactly like "if today was your last day". How is it a smash hit single? there are probably 3 songs on the whole album that i like. Chad has stuffed this big time!

I have to agree with some of the others here. This all sounds the same. I find it disturbing how people only appreciate Rock music when it is performed by a try-hard band or a band with 5 vocalists. Nickelback have lost their touch since the first album and are just recycling now.
