Ditching the Nu-Metal Idea was the biggest mistake LINKIN PARK has ever done to there music caree this album was a let down and dissapointment only 2 songs that i like were "Bleed it out" and '" Given Up" this album was nothing like both hybrid theory or Meteora, Hybrid Theory and Meteora was there biggest saleing albums and by far there best albums, there old style mixed with hip hop and nu metal is what made me liked them and there music, btw both HBT and Meteora they did have that hip hop style there as well i dont know why they decided to change smh i really do miss what LINKIN PARK use to sound like and use to be i hope one day they go back to there roots

When I went to buy my this album it glitched and didn't give me the album but did take my money.

This album is just too much good. People don't know it. Shadow Of The Day and Leave Out All The Rest...my favorite LP songs. They are Wonderful songs. Enough said. Given Up Bleed It Out No More Sorrow In Pieces The Little Things You Give Away Just too good.

This is one of the greatest albums ever made with what I've done, hands held high, this album is so powerful and you can listen to it over and over and if will not get old.

I love this album

My favorite song is easily What I've Done. I like it when they actually sing meaningful lyrics with a great tune instead of just mindless yelling although even they can make that sound good. My favorite LP songs are What I've Done In the End Numb Lost in the Echo A Light that Never Comes

I liked this back when it wasn't mastered for iTunes. The songs sound much different, especially Shadow of the Day.

About half of the songs on it are ridiculously good, and the other half are just ok or not good. Bleed it out is probably the best song ever written in the history of the universe. Just sayin'.

Did iTunes like remix these songs? This is most noticable on Shadow of the Day because it sounds more techno than the one on the cd.

Linkin park is linkin park guys. They may change their sound a few times but its still them. It's like waking up brushing your teeth then washing your face. Just because one day you don't do it that exact way doesn't mean you're a "changed person". Get over it guys. They're a good band no matter what they do.

I really tried hard to like this cd but it just plain sucked.

Minutes to Midnight is their last album where making good music actually mattered to them.

I will NEVER understand the hate for this album, it's fantastic. Every album by LP I love, but this and A Thousand Suns got so much hate.. WHY?? Wake - 5/5, awesome instrumental track. My childhood XD

I love this album. I think it's my favorite. They always do really well at conveying depth in their songs and despite this album being different from their older stuff I think it's amazing. The songs all speak to me in different ways and they are more distinct than some of their older songs. This is one of the few bands that I still buy complete albums and one that never seems to tire out of my music rotation!!

They are giving us new sounds by each albums so we don't get bored with the same sound by the first two albums. So enjoy it, or hate it. Its all up to you what your ears enjoy.

If you came here to download the versions on the radio, this is NOT it. They have been "remastered". I came specifically for "Shadow of the Day" for a project I'm working on, and while the vocals sound the same, the music is heavily synthesized to the point I cannot enjoy it. I wish they'd offer the NON remastered version as well. I went elsewhere to download my song, and it sounds just like I remembered. I don't know how the other ones sound, as I came here specifically for the one song but "Shadow" is horribly different. Just...buyer beware.
