Okay honestly I didn't like the entire cd when I first bought it. But I went back and listened to some more songs and I am falling in love with him all over again . Love my baby Trey and this album 👌

All of you giving this album 5 stars & saying how incredible this album is DO NOT know what good R&B music is. I'm a 80s baby and grew up listening to 112, Ginuwine, Tyrese, etc. I'm not a die hard Trey Songz fan, but I enjoy his music until now. You may as well label this a rap genre. I am disgusted and mortified at how he can all of a sudden refer to women as B**** & degrade them. I really wonder did he play this album for his mother or grandmother to hear. All you women & girls "bumping" this album are pathetic & "thirsty"!!!! NEWSFLASH: Trey Songz will NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER notice you, date you, or sleep with you so stop sucking up. If you're okay with being refer to as B****, H**, and only paid attention to while in bed, by all means by this. Not me though I have self respect & morals. So Trey my friend this will not be in my Itunes music collection sir.

I love this album absolutely the best. I play playing hard over a thousand time it get me through some thangs lol. But I love trey and all his music. I can't wait till the next one

I have to be honest, Trey Songz' last couple albums have been complete hot, smelly garbage. "Ready" was probably his best work ever, but he hasn't quite been able to deliver since that album. All of his music is becoming hella familiar, cheesy and redundant. I still have not found ONE song that I like on this album... not a one. Hell, his Anticipation 2 mix-tape was doper than Chapter 5! I'm so sad and I wish he'd just slow down, take his time and focus on quality. I hope the sales if this album are a wakeup call.

His interludes are better then his songs

This is a solid album by Trey Songz but not what I expected. I guess I personally set the bar a little too high because of how much I liked his previous releases. I just wish he would sing about other things besides how many women he can get and the club life. However, I do understand he has a huge fan base to please and since I'm 39 y/o, I'm more into soulful R&B. I won't go as far to say this is not R&B but this is the direction a lot of mainstream R&B artists go in. I totally understand, even though I don't like it. The b*tch word needs to leave R&B in my opinion, but if this is what sells, this is what they will continue to create.

this is one of treys best albums ... so many people don't like him because he's confident not cocky ... focus on the music smh ... REAL R&B BUY THAT ISHHH HEAUX!

I've been a fan since the start and I haven't been pleased w every piece of music he's put out, but this is by far his most progressive album. It shows his growth vocally and overall a great album. I like majority of the songs some I can do without. But as a true fan, he's made a great piece of work.

This album was totally different from his previous two albums. I like that he changed it up a little instead of talking about sex throughout the album he also talk about how he appreciates a woman! The album was REALLY GOOD!!

i love trey, but this is in no way a good cd. its not comparable to any other others. only 2 good songs are "fumble" and "playin hard". "dont be scared" is so so. then he has 2 folk type songs, 1 with a bunch of guitar, 1 thats uber pop, and the rest are almost like he wanted to drop a rap album instead. i looooooooove trey and have all of his other stuff but i will definitely only be downloading the aforementioned 2 singles and that it. soooo sad. i looooved his last few cds. i think he needs to take a break, get the creative juices going, listen to some jodeci, (old) usher, donnell jones, jon b, and then come back with some ultimate r&b. this aint it. it was like he had to release anything before the yr was out so he was like "here ya go". smh. love ya trey but clearly your handlers arent keeping it honest. less "yes men".

I've been a huge fan since day one. I feel as if this album is just as great as his first three. He took his time and he did an excellent job. Every song is amazing. <3 Worth the buy.

I like this cd a lot better than his Passion, Pain, and Pleasure album. It's closer to Ready (his best cd in my opinion) than it was. If there is one thing that makes me not give this album 5 stars, it's the decision by who the hell ever that excluded the full version of Chapter V in favor of those weak bonus songs. Trust me Chapter V (the outro) is one of the best tracks Trey has ever made.

Trey has lost his authenticity and appeal from his "Just Gotta Make It" and "Trey Day" albums (which are two of his three best albums). His hunger to make it and become successful was satiated with the commercial success of "Ready", leaving behind his original R&B roots. Other than his mixtapes, we are forced listen to his hideous pop and rap songs. Why can't R&B singers just sing R&B nowadays? Trey, you sing. Stop trying to be hard. We don't believe you. You need more people.

I was literally waiting for Chapter 5. But this album is going a few steps backwards. And please why all these women that support you have to be "B's"? Okay he's trying to impress too many people and different styles of music. He's loosing his authentic vibe. Smh.... Spreading yourself all over the place, sex isn't everything.

It's a great album. There is a typo in "Pretty Girl's Lie" (which he should have titled "Pretty Girls Lie") but Trey Songz is the new king of R&B. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and I am proud of Trey Songz.

I'd say, wow,(!) this is an amazing album in so many ways. But I can't get past the unecessary nasty terms intertwined in the dudes lovely lyrics. Do I really need to hear the 'N' word? Especialy considering the fact, if I write the "N" word out here in this review it will never see the light of day & the world will accuse me of being a racist. NO! & then we have "Panty Wetter" (?) Whoa - don't get me started. OOPS TOO LARE! NOPE! Today's Kid Pop / Hip Hop / Rap Tap need to Grow Up Already. I know The Parental Advisory Explicit Content Label sells. But if you're truly an 'Artist' shouldn't your craft be about the Art? Anything else is a SELL-OUT! None of this "EXPLICIT" crap is going to endure the test of time. So think, reflect, learn & mature... I'll check you out once your wine becomes vinatge. If you survive the test of time. Because right now you've turned to vinegar with Chapter III. NO SALE!

There's always been some kind of song, old and new, that I love listening to by Trey. This album has prolly 5-8 good songs on it. That's a plus considering how many songs total there are. He has a great voice. I'm not going to complain. There were a few , ehh , kinda of songs but overall , BUY it & support him ❤
