I respect macklemore so much for not rapping about drugs and sex and twerking but rapping about important matters like being gay and obsession over an non living item. The fact that he doesn't give a two birds about what any one thinks is amazing. He is so talented and I really like him as an artist for rapping the truth and not that he wants girls to shake their but for him.

This is by far the best rap album I've bought lately, he proves rap can be honest and soulful not many rap artists do that now. Love love love it can't get enough.

I've never liked rap much, but I adore Macklemore. He's great live, has amazing lyrics, more like poetry to me, and he's got the perfect voice for rap. He's just got it. What I love the most is he goes deeper with his lyrics and they all say so much. This album has no duds. Every song on this album is solid and worth buying and listening to. Fantastic, buy this!

I love this album. Only 1 or 2 skip throughs. While Mack is a lyrical poet, he also engages your political side with songs like Same Love an Wing$ and gets you emotionally invested. Ryan Lewis drops some pretty sweet beats. Best song: Same Love Gold Singles: Thrift Shop Can't Hold Us Same Love

I'm sorry but I would like the explicit version and it won't let me get it because I have the radio edit that is bullcrap they are 2 totally different songs so i dont know if I should even complain because u never respond to anyone's review when u should they know what changes should be made it will make people happy to at least have something they suggested to be useful!!!!

I love how the songs are different from each other

This is honestly one of the best albums I have ever heard… from anyone. Macklemore raps about life, not just sex and getting drunk. If you love this album, looks at some of his older stuff too.He knows how to play with the heavy and the light, intermingling the two into a masterpiece.

Macklemore is a amazing rapper he is gifted. He's that type of rapper doesn't talk about drugs, money, or sex. And when he does talk about drugs it about how it can hurt you and your love ones. The man raps about what he believes in and his mistakes. He deserves to be named the artist of the year. I'm 15 years old and most teens like music like lil Wayne, 2 chainz, Drake,A$ap Rockey, and other bad rappers this man is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Album is so amazing! I'm having trouble finding other albums because I keep on comparing them to this album, it's that good!!! But if you have the chance get the Deluxe edition, it comes with three other amazing songs and Thrift shop's music video and comes in a fair price :D

Macklemore is a wannabe rapper.

I'm not into hip hop/rap music but without a doubt I WILL be buying his next album. I listen to this album ALL the time, I have so much respect for him. This is REAL music with meaning and so much emotion. Gives you a lot to think about when you listen and hands down Same Love, Make The Money, Thin Line, and Start Over are my favorite tracks. Can't wait for his next album!

Macklemore is the truest of the true. He raps more about than what you think. See to the regular person listening to Wing$ it would send a little bit of a message to them, but when you open your mind up and think for a little bit you will realize the true meaning of the song, same with starting over, same love, even thrift shop has a deeper meaning than you will see it unless you look at the big picture in life. That's what separates macklemore from all other rappers and in my opinion makes him the best because he is pretty much telling us a story inside of his music to send a message to us that listen to it in a different way.

I actualy feel bad because when this album first came out I thought it was pretty bad because I had only listened to thrift shop (which after further listening is pretty good). But after buying the album after it was recommended to me by my friends who were saying give it another listen because it is much deeper than you would think. They were right! It isn a great album and I would recommend it!!!

Wow, just wow. All the songs are great but dang, "same love" hit home. My cousin is Bi and I just felt so glad to hear someone who doesn't care who loves who because my cousin went through a really bad time when everyone in our small town found out. She was basically shunned and only had a few people to turn to; I can honestly say that song changed her life.
