Sevendust - Decay Song Lyrics

Lyrics for artist Sevendust song Decay coming soon. What does Chuck Norris think about this song lyrics? A blind man once accidently bumped into Chuck Norris on a Texas street corner. The mere fact that he touched Chuck Norris cured the man of his blindness. But sadly, the first, last and only thing the man ever saw in his entire life was a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to his face.

- Best!!

Album cover kicks a**!!!! Love the electronic bit they've started adding into their music. We're not kicking it old school anymore it's 2013 and they've responded well to keeping Sevendust original but updating their armory.

- This album is really good.

Their best since Animosity. That is all.

- Love this

This band has never let me down. This new album is amazing! Can't wait to see them in April!!!

- Right on!!

Sevendust is like a really good Port... durn if they don't get better with age. 'Got a Feeling' is perfect for the Easter weekend~definately delving into the spiritual. 'Dead Roses' is Sevendust at their best... heavy and melodic at the same time. 'Decay' is laced with great swelling undertones and chaotic yet fleeting leads always fading into the distance. 'Dark AM' is lyrically and vocally very well executed~the harmonies are sweet while the music is slow and plundering. 'Picture Perfect' is well executed and another example of Sevendust defining themselves through their music

- Pretty good

I love Sevendust. They are one of my all time favorite bands. That being said I was initially disappointed with the album cause I thought all the songs sounded similar on my first listen. After listening to it several times I have grown to love it. Much heavier than anything since Home. Way heavier than Alpha. Either way 7d rocks. This is old school 7d and it rips. Enjoy.

- Black Out the Sun - Best yet!

Incredible!!! From the soothing, yet dark, opening notes of the intro, Memory, to the last note of Murder Bar, this album rides a roller coaster of emotions , dealing with life, death, and everything in between. This album seems to find the perfect balance of melody and aggression used to color the emotions involved with Black Out the Sun. This album, while a mix of everything Sevendust has been known for throughout their career, has somehow come out with a greater shine to it. Perhaps it's from the years of refining their craft, or just dealing with more mature subject matter in their songwriting. Whatever the case, I have a renewed faith in Sevendust and the power of honesty in music. Thanks for a great album fellas!

- a little too soft

I can't give Sevendust less than 4 stars simply because they are one of my favorite bands ever. However, with that said this album is a little "soft" for my liking. Seems like they missed some opportunities to make it harder and in your face. Didn't live up to the Cold Day Memory bar for me. But still a fan and will continue to support future albums and attend live shows.

- In Full Effect

It has been three years since Sevendust released Cold Day Memory, the first album with the original line up since 2003 and it seems as though Sevendust has not lost a step but gained a few. This album seems more polished and mature than any of their other albums but yet still retains that Sevendust sound. The lyrical content of this album is way beyond any of their previous efforts. Cold Day Memory was a great start in this direction, thanks much in part of having Clint back in the writing process. Black Out The Sun seems to be an equal conglomerate of all the band members. If you notice this album does not come with a Parental Advisory sticker; not one cuss word is sung on this whole album which is a huge step for Sevendust. It almost seems as though previous albums were like the five stages of grief denial (Home, Seasons) anger(Next, Alpha) bargaining( Ch. IIV) depression ( Ch. IIV, CDM) this album seems like the acceptance phase. There is a reacquiring theme of life and death throughout the album and makes me think if somebody in the band lost a close relative. Whatever it may be, Sevendust has come back in a super strong and new direction. The album kicks off with a nice guitar into with a little Southern twang that almost sounds Pantera-ish. The album catapults into the blistering Faithless, where we hear the tradtional Sevendust which we have grown to love. Whats great about this track is that Lajon comes in very soulfull and not of the tradtional route of being forucefull on the first track. Till Death is a monster of a track; with Clint kicking off the vocals in a different tone then what we are used to with him. The song is almost speed/thrash metal intended, but with a Sevendust appeal and the switching of vocals between Clint, Lajon and Morgan is a nice touch. This song will be fun at the concerts and seriously makes me want to punch a kitten in the face. Mountain is a great song that showcases Lajon still can sing. I can see him singing this song on top a mountain. Cold As A War continues Lajon's great singing and we start to get into the grove of the album. Black out the Sun the title track picks up the pace a bit and here is where the life and death content comes into play. Nobody Wants It, my favorite so far is a great song with which to me sounds as though the band is talking about religion. Dead Roses another monster track with Clint on backup vocals, this song keeps the album going. Decay is the single for the album and honestly didn't really impress me, I love the guitar intro in this song though and it is growing on me. Dark A.M. is a strong song that gives off a good rock vibe; Lajon is again at the top of his game. Picture Perfect slows it down a bit and reminds me of CDM with a little Ch. IIV thrown in. Got a Feeling really slows things down and its great to hear Clint sing again. The twangy sound of the intro is reflected here. Murder Bar is a strong ending track that shows Sevendust has matured and is going in a new direction.

- Sevendust is amazing

The 9th studio album from Sevendust is amazing. Another one of those albums that you love on the first listen from first song to the last. I have been wearing this album out playing it over and over. They bring something new while still remaining uniquely Sevendust. Definitely hints of old Sevendust but it isn't the same thing they have done before. LJ's vocals are just amazing as usaul and just keep get better with time. Vinnie hammers it all with his bass playing. You can't help but want to get in the groove and rock out. Clint & John are an amzing duo on guitars. Love the heaviness and guitar solos. Morgan he brings the insanity on the drums like only he can do. Can't wait to see them perform some of these live. You need to download this entire album. Love the entire thing but my favorites are Faithless, Cold As War, Nobody Wants It, Decay, oh hell who am I kidding I pick all of them. Like trying to ask me to pick my favorite kid.

- One of the best rock bands known to mankind!!!

Heavy as HELL! Rock needs this kind of style more now then ever. Just heavy riffs that will rip out your soul!!! Love the chaos!!! Sevendust is one of my favorite bands of all time!!!

- ""7Dust""

Killer album from the 1st track to the end .. Not only can they deliver in the studio they bring it live \m/

- 3.5 out of 5

Pretty descent, kind of a mix of the last 10 yrs or so of 7dust stuff is what this is. 1 or 2 songs on it are as good or better than decay, the single. A wonderful band, however bands who self produce to cut cost, pay for it in the long run. Should've used s producer for the checks and balances element of the album. Would like to see them work with butch walker again, he did the seasons album.

- Amazing!

7D brought back the extreme riffs and killer drums of their album HOME.. LJ brought it home with that amazing voice.. The boys are back!

- Sevendust is the best ever!!!

You can't go wrong wrong when your talking about Sevendust!!

- Whoop whoop

Ahhhh yea this makes daddy wanna spank that monkey =D

- HAVEN'T LOST A STEP!!!

Even after '97, these guys still are on top of their game. Click yes if you agree!!!!

- Best album to date!

Love them! Not everyone will be satisfied but the ones say they can't self produce and went mainstream go f yourself. Good music is good music!!!! They are one of the hardest working bands out there still making amazing music! There is heavy songs then there are lighter songs stuff for everyone! Truly best band out there Keep rocking Sevendust;)

- Great!

The boys have done a great job with this album! heavy guitars, killer drums, bass & with the catchy lyrics! this should be album of the year!!

- Best ever!!!

Lajon keeps the energy alive!! Download now

- Sevendust is back!

When my son was 12, he's now 20, I took him to see Sevendust because he loved the band. We did a meet and greet after the show and the whole band was so nice to him that I became an instant fan. So I bought all their albums and see them every time they come in concert near me. This album rocks! Cold Day Memory was ok, but a little mellow in some of it's songs. This album brings back the heavy tone and melody. If I have to find a fault with the album it's that it's seems short in length. I don't think you can go wrong getting album. And if you've never seen Sevendust live, do yourself a favor and go see them. They always bring it and put on a fantastic show.

- WORLD SERIES CHAMPS!!! GET HYPED!!!

I played Sevendust for my teammates before every playoff game last year and we won the World Series. Thanks Sevendust!

- ehhhh

Why can't you guys make another Animosity...none of you're last few albums have lived up to that one... Just my opinion...

- Awesome!!!!

Their best yet!!!!!

- Guess Who's Baaaaaaack!!!

If you take "Animosity" and "Home" throw it in a pot of kickass, "Black Out the Sun" is the all you can eat buffet you get to chew on!!! Morgans drums or turned up, Vinny plays some slap bass, and Clint's new found vocals and guitar picking dictate the flow of a Sevendust that we have been longing for. Lejon's Voice is again filled with that soulfulness that builds to a sound that no other Rock Band has. This record is the reason that this band is my favorite and always will be. BTW, Congrats on the new kiddo Clint!!!!

- #9

The gents of Sevendust brought us album #9. While I have mixed feelings about this new album. It's still Sevendust from beginning to end. There are definitely elements of the guys side projects in here. My semi negative criticism would be, the songs are short and the album sounds a bit rushed. Each song kinda sounds like the one just before it.

- Sevendust does it again!!!!

The album is amazing! If you're a sevendust fan, you won't be disappointed at all. Love this album! I'm glad I purchased it!

- I LOVE THIS BUY IT WHY ARE YOU STILL READING BUY IT

This album is amazing. Lyrics are as always brought to life better than any band I know. The guitars sound INCENDIARY!!!! I am permanently melted. I love these guys. I see them every time they play here. Unmatched talent!

- Incredible.

I've been a Sevendust since their self-titled release... and the albums Home and Animosity really solidified them as one of my favorite bands. However, since Clint left their past few albums have felt like they were lacking something. The songs were too homogenous, too formulaic for my tastes, etc. This album, to me, is a return to form for Sevendust. The melodies are catchy and dark, the energy doesn't slip into Monotanyville (i.e., it finally feels like they aren't just cashing it in), yet the rhythms remain heavy and diverse enough to keep me interested. I'd highly recommend this album. Great job Sevendust.

- greatest band ever....

never ever..... EVER..... heard a bad sevendust album... my fav band always....

- a little more

commercial than a lot of their previous work, this is still good music from sevendust. And, it appears, may be their last. Hopefully, this isnt so.

- Never doubt Sevendust

These guys bring the heat with every album. I remeber when Cold Day Memory came out and knew how tough they would have to work to step up from that album and they did awesome!! All around great album! Mad props Sevendust!

- Consistent

One of the more consistent bands by far. One of those albums you'll listen to all the way through countless times! Awesome album!

- Sevendust Has Arrived!

The boys are back and they really brought it on this album! Wow. Just wow! Black Out the Sun will will rank among my favorite Sevendust albums. I've listened to it 3 times now (some songs get a heavy repeat) and it just keeps getting better after every listen. Well done fellas! Bravo!

- Never let me down!!!

Seven is one of the three bands whos album I buy without even sampling it without hesitation! They have never let me down ever in the 14 years I have been listening to them. These guys got me through deployment after deployment! Thank guys from the bottom of my heart!!!!

- Like a fine wine

Sevendust gets better with time. They never disappoint with great riffs and killer melody and I live that they take chances going brutally heavy with " Till Death" my favorite song on the album

- Best album yet

Thank you 7dust for making the best record so far. Your music has so much heart and power in it. Love this album! On a side note, I can't stand all the other music out on iTunes right now. Especially Lil Wayne and Timberlake. Sorry for the rant but I had to say it!

- Better than alpha and next. Not as good as Cold Day Memory

This album is pretty good. Not as much my speed as Cold Day Memory, though. I think the 'E's next to some of these songs don't stand for explicit so much as they stand for evangelical... This one's kinda preachy...

- Hell Yes....

Best Sevendust album since Home......

- They Never Disappoint!!

It never fails every time they come out with a new album they just prove that they are the best rock band out there! they don't try to be someone that they are not they don't conform to the system or change their style just so people will like them. They have been around for more than a decade and few people know who they are, but their fans know they are the BEST!!

- This album ROCKS!

Sevendust has been one of the most underrated bands in the U.S.! Their live show is 2nd to none. They should be making the kind of money that Metallica is bringing in. Their music is off the hook. Congratulations to them for beinging it on this album. They NEVER disappoint!

- Yes!!

I can't believe that a band can come as close to Animosity that these guys did. These guys deserve so much more credit than they get!! Best Sevendust album since Animosity!! Well done guys!

- ddurden

Been a fan for a long time. These guys continue to do it like no one else. This album is off the hook!!! Met the band several times. No egos and great people. All are very talented. Best drummer I've seen in my own opinion. Great job Sevendust!!! This album is a must have!!

- Its growing on me

Sevendust is one of the few bands that I will buy the complete album. Its pretty good. Unlike their last album, I wasn't blown away right away. I had to listen to the entire album a couple times before I really started to like it. I have seen a couple reviews that say this is their best album ever: not by a long shot. Whoever wrote that is probably too young to remember when Animosity, Home or Seasons released. Don't get me wrong, its a good album and worth purchasing.

- To the 6 1 stars at this time

Please lol….

- NOT DISSAPPOINTED!

These guys keep bringing it! They sound like they may have heard the Good News and I hope they have! Great record!

- AWESOME

This album is the epitome of what we know and love most about Sevendust.

- Another Amazing Album!!!

Another amazing album from a truly amazing band. Progressive yet classic Sevendust. Don't make the mistake of not dounloading the entire album. If you want to sample just check out Decay and then buy entire album. You will not be disappointed. Finally, Morgan Rose is by far one of the top drummers all time. More stellar work here.

- Last album was great now I'm hooked

Didn't even listen to any just the reviews and I brought the whole album cause the last album was GREAT! I still wish I got the cd cause its so much louder in my truck. Maybe next purchase

- Yet Another Powerful Album

Sevendust returns to the scene with another amazing album. This album is for all of those that couldn't get enough of "Animosity" and "Seasons". You will pop this one in and be rocked like NO other band can ROCK. Every single band member meshes perfectly into this album! Kids I highly recommend this one, Pick it up and then tell all of your friends, "Sevendust Has Arrived"!

- Continue to Amaze

I got hooked when I saw then Live in KC years ago, this album delivers as well, can't wait to see them at Rockfest this year!!
