The old Dogg has learnt new tricks, what a treasure opening with "Rebel Way" & "Here Comes The King" with old school jamaican vibe and throw backs to the greats, to "Smoke The Weed" a true classic in the making then you " Get Away" with its very Electro beats. " Ashtrays And Heartbreaks" with Miley must be one of the highlights (Billy Ray must have had a heart attack when this was put forward). Snoopylicous.

Snoop releases a unique and fresh new album this time moving away from his hip-hop roots to dwelve into the world of the rasta man. This change absolutely does not interfere with the quality of the songs as Snoop and his band of producers construct meaningful stories and messages through catchy and relatable songs for ages 15+ (with the occasional "fun" song e.g. Fruit Juice). Overall this was a very enjoyable album to listen to in a genre struggling to make progress since Bob Marley's passing. Is Snoop's new album worthy of a comparison with Marley? Absolutely not, but it is a step in the right direction both business-wise and lifestyle-wise for the legendary rap star. 4 out of 5
