I listen to this album still and you know say what you want about Christian music but let me ask you which would you rather listen to songs that are just meaningless words or songs with multiple messages? Don't get wrong I listen to all types of music but for me if I am searching for direction guidance or a spark lead me back to the cross I turn to Christian music. Every time I listen Christian music when I listen to the lyrics I get different messages and look for different ways of seeing things and that's what most if not all of the songs on this album has done. Most songs I'm not sure what they mean particularly to the artist or what message in particular they are trying to send I just listen and think of how the lyrics or message can impact my life and how I can improve my life and also spiritually.

My personal favorites are Monster (not the radio edit :|) and It’s not me it’s you. The main reason I love It’s Not Me it’s you is because it describes the exact relationship of me and my ex-friend. :3 Keep up the work skillet

Came across this band listening to Kari Jobe's Spotify radio and have been loving their songs, so much power in them.

Awake and Alive is the reason I started liking Skillet and it was my favorite song for practically a year. In fact, this song is the reason I developed a taste in music and I have so much to thank Skillet for, even though this isn't my favorite band anymore. Never Surrender was also really good, and the others were good-ish and okay. I prefered Rise and Comatose, even though Awake has my favorite song.

Nothing can top this Christian rock band! I love Skillet and forever will.

I have been listening to this album since it came out in 2009... by far one of my favorite bands and albums, has some amazing songs with powerful lyrics. Hero, Monster, Awake and Alive, Lucy, and Sometimes are some of my favorites from this album. I would definitely buy this album! God bless Skillet! And bless all those who love Skillet and God! Ok. I don't know why radio stations like 99.3 and 104.9 don't play their music. Skillet is absolutely awesome. I heard the songs "Monster" and "Hero" and, I thought, Whoa! This is better than Stryper. Great album

I like the Monster song!!!!!!

I love a lot of songs in this album but one stands out to me. Hero. It stands out to me because it really describes the person I want to be when I grow up. I want to be the hero who does all I can to save somebody or something. And I think everybody else should too. :)

I really like Hero, Monster and Awake and alive. It’s a good album. When I first heard Lucy I was crying for almost an hour. It’s so sad! P.s. Lucy is a really dramatic, sad song. Anyway the album is nice 👍🏻. Keep it up skillet!

This album rocks!!!

I can conclude that this is better than what I originally thought it was! It has some of their best ballads and some of their best rockers! Jen’s vocals aren’t bad, either. In fact, I rank her voice up with Amy Lee of Evanescence. However, I still think Comatose is all around better because this album has more fillers in it I feel like. Favorites: Hero, Monster, Awake and Alive, It’s Not Me It’s You, Believe, Sometimes, Lucy, and Dead Inside.

I saw them live when they came to Houston on the awake tonight tour back in 2010 not too long layer I went and picked up this cd ever since then I have enjoyed listening to this album. My favorites are hero, monster, don't wake me , awake and alive , should've when you could've, Believe, forgiven. Sometimes, never surrender and Lucy.
