Chuck Norris can alter his DNA so his spawn can go about undetected in the world. - one of my favorite albums

so good

- Buy this NOW!!!

An album chocked full of goodness!!!

- Their best effort

The War on Drugs have hit a home run with this record. The mood is dark and unsure . It's an album for a sunny or rainy day. It's an album for the ages . Great work.

- Wow

A beautiful record. Blown way

- Great

Fantastic stuff

- Nice album

Did like in the beginning but got Hooked to it after multiple hearings.Great compositions with fine music

- Been eagerly awaiting this and it did not disappoint

I wish there were more bands like these guys out there. A start to finish great album.

- wonderful.

memories of Dire Straits, Springsteen, and Don Henley echoing about in a dream.

- Finally some good music you can relate to!

For a long time I ve not heard Such good music.

- ALBUM OF THE YEAR

Best album I've heard in along time....it gets in your head and stays...I love it

- Forever lost in this dream!

Adam Granduciel's life experiences although painful have manifested into the most stunning collection of songs on Lost in the Dream. The listener is brought down a long road of pain, healing, and eventual hope. It will be talked about for years to come as one of the most beautiful records this decade produced.

- Lost In The dream

The War On Drugs amazing

- Amazing

Best album I’ve heard in a couple years. Honestly can’t take it out of the player. Do yourself a favor and buy this one immediately.

- In love with this band and their sound

I've been listening to Kurt Vile for ever, and I can still hear his touch in this band. This album is mesmerizing, lustrous and beautiful.

- Layers and layers of great.

Brilliant album! Top to bottom, a true gem of Adam Granduciel's finest workbook. So smooth and emotive and rich and …..

- Thank Gawd!

The hope is that for a band you love each release will surpass the one before it. All of WOD's albums have been great, this one is a masterpiece.

- Tremendous

I hear a lot of Springsteen, Dire Straights, Don Henley and Tom Petty in these songs. What makes TWOD more than a revival act is the hypnotic, almost Krautrock beats, the extended song lengths and the waves of keyboards and noise. The effect is uplifting, dream-like and frequently gorgeous. This might be the only record I'd recommend to fans of the Boss and My Bloody Valentine. Best album of 2014 so far.

- The Eagles of Indie

Theres a lot of Don Henley in here.

- Touching and poignant

I came across this album simply by chance and now I cannot stop listening to it. I didn't know music like this was still being written.

- A blissful dream...turned reality.

What a delight to see WOD back with a new batch of sonic bliss—been waiting on you guys! Already streamed Red Eyes a half dozen times this AM. Consider my morning made.

- Generation Defining Sound

There are a few bands that come along each generation that come to represent the sound of that time. I’m not saying TWOD is that band for this time; I think EDM and Hip Hop still rule the halls of our high schools, but as for Rock and Roll, this album is as good as it gets in 2014. The album opens with a two song string - Under the Pressure, and Red Eyes - that sound like summer nights spent in the lawn seats at the amphitheater, like echoing dreams of beer soaked concerts lost. The balance of the album churns forward through sonic paths original and borrowed. It’s tinged with Dire Straits, Tom Petty, Talking Heads and Springsteen. These guys deserve to be a major, national headline. I hope you’ll support the cause.

- One word to describe this album:

Brilliant.

- Red Eyes

Loving this song listening to it every day but I'm looking forward to the rest of the album I don't wanna wait!

- Once in a while

Every so often a band coalesces into something wondrous and captures it. 'Lost In The Dream' is a band doing exactly that: in wildest imaginings I never expected War On Drugs to be simultaneously so self assured and so vulnerable. Without boring you with comparisons I can say that 'Lost In The Dream' is a true gem. An instant classic.

- Every song sounds too much alike.

It's a good album. Good easy listening music. Feels a little repetitive.

- Slick, groovy and cool.

Do you like the Wallflowers? Springsteen and Dylan? You will love this!

- A triumphant album

From start to finish, this album grabbed me. Tasty guitar licks, floating piano melodies, hypnotizing drum beats and the cathartic "Wooos!" that are yelled triumphantly in "Red Eyes." This album really does blend the feelings of sadness and loneliness into something bigger and more positive. This is an album I can press play on and just let it play. Wish they'd come to Charlotte!

- Indie rock is NOT dead!!!

What a nice find - so much new indie rock is so unnoteworthy that one starts to believe those who say indie rock is dead or has run it's course into the ground. This album is an absolute sonic delight from start to finish. I hear many influences, notably Mike Scott /Waterboys, Dylan, Springsteen, and not so much on this album as previous albums, Willie Nile. All these influences and many more mesh into a unique, uplifting album that doesn't make me want to take a nap 5 minuets into it. Highly recommended.
