This album is so good.

This album is so creative, artistic, and unique. It’s a big standout in her discography for me. A mix of R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop made into the masterpiece that is Bedtime Stories. Every track is different and has it’s own amazing beats, lyrics, or meanings like Inside of Me, or Bedtime Story. Personally for me, this is my favorite Madonna album, but I would say for a lot of people, it’s also in their top 5.

A bold move for Madonna to go a softer route after her bold envelope pushing of the 80’s and early 90’s. Soft, gentle, and smart m.

1994 was a great year to be a Madonna fan. This album is great from start to finish. I especially love “Don’t Stop” and “Sanctuary”. The 4 singles “Secret”, “Take A Bow”, “Bedtime Story” and “Human Nature” are all classic 🎶

What can I say? It’s a perfect album to listen during the COVID19 pandemic.

Madonna is the Queen of Pop. And this Bedtime Stories is perhaps one of her most underrated albums. Born between the controversial Erotica in 1992 and the critically acclaimed Ray of Light in 1998, this album seems to be overshadowed. But time has proved, once again, Madonna is ahead of her time and she is the greatest solo artist in the world.

Madonna does what she does best ... she creates something beautifully genius. This album finds Madonna more soulful as she lovingly sings is her Bedtime Story. From start to finish this album is a no skip Madonna extravaganza of self love, secrets, forbidden love, relationships ending, and Madonna bucking the system. MASTERFUL

Such a great chill dreamy album

In 2014, as a Millennial/Gen Z music lover, I felt compelled to get into Madonna's discography, but did not know where to start. Someone asked me what were my genre of choices so I said R&B, pop, and hip-hop. They suggested I listen to Bedtime Stories to start. So that's what I did. After the very first listen, I fell in love and this became one of my Top 5 albums of all-time. From that moment on, I was a Madonna stan. Every song sounded fresh. Every song sounded beautiful. How could a 20 year old album sound so fresh? Why was nothing on the radio today like this? Here I am 6 years later, and nothing I've just said has changed. For the dance pop tunes we know from Madonna, this album was like nothing before or after it. The lyrics were sensual. The production was groovy and put you in this vibe of love, passion, and heartbreak. You can't resist the temptations of falling in love with Madonna and this album. You won't regret it.

One of the best Madonna albums ever. There is not one single song I skip when listening. Subtle, yet sharp. Introspective, yet accessible. Familiar, yet fresh. A must-have for any Madonna fan.

Often overlooked and under appreciated, this is one of Madonna’s most personal and beautiful albums. Gorgeous ballads and her own, unique take on R&B sounds from the early 90’s. An enjoyable album to listen to from start to finish, and one I replay often! Favorite tracks include Inside of Me, Take a Bow, Love Tried to Welcome Me, Sanctuary, and Human Nature.

Everything about this album is perfection...from the production, vocals, the soulfulness of the songs to a sneak peak at a trance trace with Bedtime Story.

Fantastic on every level! To think that Madonna sought out the hit makers of the mid 90’s with the likes of Dallas Austin and Babyface, she still made it her own! I honestly think this is her best album to date. She explores so many emotions from this album, revealing so much truth and vulnerability, from the woes of fame on Survival, to the sadness of the passing of her mother on Inside of Me, Madonna treats Bedtime Stories like a diary, giving us glimpses into her personal life one song at a time!

This is a CLASSIC underrated and overlooked GEM! Madonna has does R&B 100% justice and ends of making one of the best bedroom (wink wink) albums ever.

Some fantastic R&B jams, here! Criminally underrated.

Very much a product of its time, the production on much of this record sounds like it made heavy use of the music composition software of the early 90’s, and so now sounds very dated. While the singles such as Take A Bow and Human Nature are fantastic, the album tracks are uniformly forgettable and not up to the quality of production standards of the prior record Erotica, or her next studio album, 1998’s triumphant Ray of Light. The central fault of the album is that there is no uniform theme. It sounds more like a selection of tracks thrown together hastily to build an album around a few sure fire hits.
