M83 has put together a masterpiece. Not only does it take you on an adventure as you listen to it song to sing, but no two songs are confusable. 22 songs and none song the same. This album has many emotions and is a breath of fresh air from what the music industry has been spitting out to my generation.

I started listening to M83 only very recently and this music is some of the most moving, inspiring, life affirming music I've ever listened to and I'm a "metalhead". To be clear, I'm not a religious person at all, but this music really does touch a part of your heart and it just flows throughout your body from there. AMAZING BAND, truly talented and so deserving of great success. "Wait" is my favorite song. It brings me to tears every time and that's not an easy feat. :) You won't regret listening to this band and buying their music. They are truly making great music in a time of too much "manufactured" sounding, lifeless sounding bands out there on mainstream radio.

There’s no doubt that this is one of the most ambitious projects M83 has ever worked on. it’s a great record and video project.

This album is filled with forevermore life and beauty that sends chills throughout my body and creates all these new perspectives of life in my mind. I've never heard such powerful meaning in music and well this is just incredible. Especially the song "Wait"! Listen to it now and you won't regret the beauty it has to offer.

Just like most people, I was introduced to M83 through Midnight City. I liked it so much that I thought I would buy a couple more songs , I loved them also. So I decided to just go ahead and take a gamble and buy the whole album and I'm so happy I did. This album is one of the best albums I have ever heard (this is coming from a person that listens to every imaginable genre of music from every decade possible). This album sounds like if Pink Floyd made an electronic album (or electronic version of Dark Side of The Moon). And as Dark Side of the Moon, it is a concept album that is intended to be listened to as a whole and not just individual songs, it is much like a musical novel as it tells a story. This album makes you excited ,happy, sad, nostalgic, hopeful and balances them all very well. Some songs are poppy and a little more electronic than others (Midnight City), some more rock'n roll (Claudia Lewis, Year One, One Ufo) and others are soft and sadder ( Wait, Splendor), culminating in a truly unique listening experience. Please buy this album if you are a fan of electonic music or just good music in general. It saddens me to know that more people don't know about this album, because I really think it is a classic and proves that just because an album is produced electronically it can still make you feel emotions and doesn't have to lose it's soul.

Huge and ambitious sounds that have their own unique flow. What is not to like here? Not sure why there is no iTunes review. This is musical craftsmanship at its finest. After I heard this album I literally have gotten M83’s entire discography. Love the sound.

Still a great song!

As a new M83 fan, I found Midnight City over the summer and kept digging. I started with Saturdays=Youth and loved it. Songs like Kim and Jessie, Graveyard Girl, Up!, and We Own the Sky were stuck in my head for weeks. After buying Wait and Steve McQueen from Hurry Up We're Dreaming I decided to buy the whole album. This album may be my favorite album of all time. I didn't know what to think about some of these songs but grew to love them all, even songs like Train to Plutton became my favorites with Echos of Mine. I recommend this album to anyone and suggest listening to it in order. Thank you M83.

The best way for me to describe these guys is to say its....80's music evolved to modern times. It gives me a very euphoric feeling that I can only get from my favorites of the 80's but its so much more than that! Its different, its unique, and its good music. Thats exactly what I like.

There is something about the song 'Wait' that is truly unique and moving. Such simplicity and beauty. Haven't been touched by a song in awhile, and Wait is doing it for me. Absolutely love it.
