I too like many other found Damien's previous album "O" one of the most hauntingly beautiful, emotional albums I've heard in the last 10 years. We've all waiting a while to hear new music from him, and though now with a more orchestrated sound than previously, he still does not disappoint... and continues his journey as a standout singer/songwriter of his generation. Eight years is a long time to wait, but in the meantime... let's just enjoy what we have so far, and hope we don't have to wait until 2022 for his next release. Thanks Damien!

Throw in a song or two of melancholy and you capture our hearts again, but I admit I like the positivity in you best. I like what I hear so tar and I can’t wait until I hear the rest of the album.

It is been so long since Damien has released an hour. Faded fantasy so far is my favorite song he is ever wrote. I just got to see him in concert last night in LA and he's just as good if not better than he ever was. I can't wait for November 10 when this album releases in it and it's entirety.

There's something so special about this man and he never fails to give you his best: My Favourite Faded Fantasy has so far lived up to the greatness of his other albums. IT GIVES ME SO MANY FEELS. I'm so glad that I discovered Damien Rice a month ago. The first time I heard him I knew I would love him. And yes I am in love with this album!! All of his songs have so much emotions, originality and textures. I also love the fact that there's some great instumentals within some songs. I should've discovered him earlier.

Why only 8 songs? One for each year away? I hope there's secret songs in the album. Full of secret messages meant for Lisa. The three songs are a great appetizer. "Bastard" best song, by far.

I am new to Damien Rice's music - just discovered him this July. Began running to his music and then signed up on his webpage - a month later a new album was announced and a tour. I saw him perform at Warsaw in Brooklyn - haven't been to a concert in 35 years. Oh my, what a performer, what a voice. He truly is the best in his class - pure geniurs both with his music and his words. Sit back and just listen to his honest expression of how he feels. Simply beautiful.

I had the opportunity to take a date to see him live at a concert in SF and it was simply amazing. Things didn't work out at the end with my date but I'm glad she introduced me to his music. "Cheers Darlin" and thank you for a great date night.

This album is pure genius. I was lucky enough to get to see Damien Rice in Los Angeles this past month and witness the best 2 hours of music of my life and now after hearing this album I am blown away. There are just not artists like this around any more.

I was so scared that Damien Rice wasn't going to put out another album given the long time lapse between albums and alas, my wish came true! Some of his fans will be pleased as this album shares some traits from his other albums: beautiful voice, smart lyrics, soothing low-tempo beat.

Damien Rice is a true master at what he does. The first 3 songs released are amazing. If the rest of the album is half as good as the first 3 releases than the whole body of work will be classically exceptional!
