I bought this for my girlfriend but I listened to it...It remind me of some of the stuff Tracy Ullman did in the 80's. The melodies are bubbly and energetic but the THEMES ARE ADULT and people who are buying it for their 6 year olds are being irresponsible. LOL this hit song is called ALL ABOUT THAT BASS...take out the "B" and you there you have it. Enjoy it folks...its not classic music but it is fun ride through the mind of Meghan Trainor!!

Okay. First of all, I gotta say, HUGE fan. Second, this album is lovely. It has a tropical/bubble gum pop vibe and is so great compared to the hippity-hoppity junk on the radio these days. Meghan is such a good influence on you be girls and is an all around great gal. I counted down the days until the album came out, and it was worth it. I can't wait for her tour this summer!

I loved this album. She's very musically inclined for her age. I'm looking forward to hearing much more from her. Tons of love from a MS woman!

Although the music has pop, the demeaning and curse words in the lyrics are shameful. I purchased the single and when I found the lyrics and started singing along I decided to delete the song from my iTunes. I cant have such filth on my computer.Shame on you Meghan, you are NOT a model for my children and I refuse them to have any of your songs on any of our devices.

I love lots if songs in this album, I really do. But, some if them are just crazy and pointless. Like "Title" and "Bang Dem Sticks." Also, there is lots of cussing, but it says "explicit" nowhere!!!!! So, younger listeners should stay away. But I do like "Lips Are Movin." And I like the duet with John Legend "Like I'm Gonna Lose You." Overall, I give it three stars.

She is 1 awesome artist and is now better than having to wait for her songs on the radio and now I can just look on my phone!!!! I think her album is amazing and awesome and I hope that you think so too 😀

I love this album. Every song is catchy. The upbeat songs are fun and get stuck in your head and the slow songs really show off what a powerful and beautiful voice she has. Definitely recommend!

I love meghan!

I don't listen to her music much, but just from a guys point of view I'm so happy to see a girl coming out and telling all those girls that she's not skinny as a stick and still beautiful! She also has that song future husband which really shows girls that they deserve the best from us and not what a lot of those douche bags they call "men" now a days try to pass as a good way to treat them. Now there are a few songs on here I disagree with, like walkashame which still shows girls the wrong path to go down and it kind of contradicts her other songs, but for at least 3 or 4 of these songs she shows that women deserve respect and not that crap young guys try to pull on them these days.

I have never bought a whole album from ITunes, but decided to this time because they had a special price on it. I am SO glad I did. I LOVE every song on this album. What others have said is true, there are bad words. Be careful with younger listeners.

I absolutely fell in love with the song "Title". Some say it is annoying and pointless. Truthfully, the people that say that are annoying and pointless. I also love "3am". I was listening to iTunes radio and when that song came on that was how I discovered this album. I love all of the songs, and especially "Title" and "3am". Thank you, Meghan Trainor. Way to go, girl.

I love this album, no matter how many haters it has. And a message to everybody, especially you haters out there, all about that bass is not about shaking your butt, it's about loving you for you, even if you're "fat". I really love lips are moving because of the catchy beat and it reminds me that not everybody is perfect for each other, and that some people are just gonna treat you like dirt. But it the song makes it sound like it's not such a bad thing. I also really love title, too, but I have no idea why. one of my favorite songs is dear future husband. It's so upbeat, and I love that it decieves you into thinking it's old school, but it's not at all if you actually listen to the lyrics. I LOVE close your eyes, I think it's the best song in the album. I love the beat, and I love the message. I think it's similar to the message in all about that base, but slightly different. I also feel like the song speaks to me, and I love that it's more slow. As for all of the other songs, I'm still listening to and trying to decide whether or not I like them. But overal, I think the album, Title, is great. I find it fun to listen to, and very upbeat. I love meghan trainors style so much, and I was so excited when this album came out! Thank you so much Meghan Trainor! I can't wait for the next albums!

Positive body image is definitely a good message. But I've found most of her songs to be tacky.

Really I love lips r movin and dear future husband but TITTLE I listened to the first verse and shut it of so bad there r kids in this world you be careful what u say in those songs I'm 10 years old but still I mean its just really bad. And also the beat of all her songs 😷 awful change it have a rhythms beat and make the song so people want to grove to it COME ON MAGHAN😩!!!!!!!

I love oldies music and I love that the album has an oldies vibe!! I wish there was an edited version so my little girl could listen to it too.

This album is consistently high quality, in my opinion. No obvious throw away songs that some other albums have. The music should be good for East Coast Swing, and possibly Jive. Also some Romantic Two-Step. Some songs should be especially amenable to West Coast Swing. One of the other reviewers said that there are swear words in the music and there should be an "Explicit" label warning parents of this. I agree that there is some rough language, but it isn't as much as some other songs. An "R" rating maybe, but I wouldn't go so far as "Explicit". Even where the language is totally clean, the subject matter of much of this album, as of much of pop music, is adult, directly or implied. When it comes to parenting today, there are no true safe harbors, and there probably never were. Better to admit that control of the wind is just an illusion, rig the lines a little tauter, and keep moving forward. That said, it should be easier to return an album one finds objectionable, for what ever reason. One-Click-Returns, anyone? (Of course, probably no one is going to build it, because business models padded with a series of expected small market failures are just too widespread.) There is a problem with this album, though. There is no included album booklet, even in the "deluxe" version of the album. If I am going to spring for the whole album, and bring the artist and the record company more revenue than people who only buy one or two tracks, the least I should expect is a few extra photos and the song lyrics conveniently packaged with the music. You know, like they used to always do when we had to actually put on a pair of shoes and walk to the record store. I am not going to return the album, even if that were possible, but it is a flaw. So, Epic Records, great music, but sloppy presentation. Good work, but if you want that last star, you can do better.

Meghan has loads of great songs that are amazing. My favorites are probably "All about that bass" and "Lips are movin." Wish the original version of the CD had one of my favorites, "Mr Almost."Though some songs are better than others, I like them all. Meghan is one of the only artist that I like all of the songs on the album. I hope she does some more. Keep your "Lips movin " with this fun CD.
