So when I heard her single praying at first I was like idkkkk it's very emotional and I'm not used to that from her but I gave it some time and I finally connected with it and all I can say is you can feel the emotion in her voice. I downloaded some other songs and I really love this authentic expression from her

I'm really proud of this girl. I found her on YouTube many many years ago and adored her. She was a party girl and unabashedly herself, even if she wasn't miss proper. She's gone through a lot and she had to face some big trials and stand up to some industry giants. That being said she's changing and so is her sound, totally understandable but she's not there yet at least to me. I think I only like 3 songs on the album and they are really great but there's something lacking. Still happy she released something new but I'm a little disappointed.

I love her departure from her previous sounds, which is bubblegum pop and dance pop, she goes on a journey of enlightenment with her song Praying, learning to forgive her enemies, but also learning about herself on Learn To Let Go, while also empowering herself and everyone with her song Woman, not to mention her graceful song Hymn, recognizing people do get left out, but she sends a message, “We don’t care what you say about us” or something along the lines of that, but with the good, comes the mediocre, there is one song that I particularly don’t know if it serves a purpose or is just an excuse for a filler on this album, “Godzilla”, lyrically I didn’t understand it, sonically it could have been better, with low volume leveled instruments strumming in the background like a teen band at a prom who got bored and had to stay on stage and just started toying with their instruments, with another song that could have been excluded from this album and included on her Deconstructed EP, Old Flames, at this point this is the second time she released Old Flames but with this version having THE Dolly Parton, to me I just think it’s also another filler, the songs I personally love are Finding You, which is a song promising her lover that she will always find him, in the this life or the next, Spaceship, because it’s basically a second part to Hymn, being that the concept is to find other people like her, people who also feel like they don’t fit in, the only song in which I didn’t really enjoy nor did I hate was Boots, I just think it’s pretty basic in its lyricisms, some people might just listen to it for the sound the song has, either way it’s not my cup of tea nor is it my toilet.

Praying is such an ethereal song showcasing Kesha's true and mature personality, wishing her abuser serenity and a chance at repentance. She has always been a talented vocalist in my eyes and was very underrated earlier in her career in my opinion. Hopefully this record will reach a wider audience and get people familiar with the real Kesha Rose. My excitement cannot be contained for her new music, I've been a loyal fan from day 1. Her music is transcendent and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us, I've been waiting too long!

Playing it through, the first song "Bastards" opens the album with a different sound that we haven't heard from Kesha before. But it is so clear, that this is the type of music Kesha has always wanted to release but couldn't thanks, to Dr Luke. there are many of these laid back acoustic songs, but still many classic Kesha party bops such as "Woman" "Learn To Let Go" "let em talk" and "Boots" just to name a few. Every song on the album is written so carefully and every word is full of meaning. Especially in songs such as "Praying" where Kesha is just so vulnerable, and the song "Rainbow". Rainbow was the first song Kesha wrote on the album. She wrote it in rehab where she begged and begged just to have a keyboard for 30 minutes a day. She wrote the song for herself so that she would remember "Our scars make us who we are So when the winds are howling strong And you think you can't go on Hold tight, sweetheart" If you're even reading this, you're wondering whether or not you should purchase the album. After five years of being stuck in a legal battle and not able to release new music, Kesha makes an incredible comeback with the well worth the wait release of Rainbow. Her third studio album is a true masterpiece and one of the best records to come out of 2017 so far, I highly recommend it for anyone to give it a listen. It's unlike anything she's ever done before with this album being her vocally strongest to date and doesn't follow any chart trends making it fresh. I can't express how much I love it and how proud I am of Kesha for how far she's come over the course of these five years, we've really freaking missed you! 💖🌈🦄🌟☮️

Great to see Kesha back but this album is probz her worst she has released. I know she was going in a different direction but this album isn't that catchy at all and most of the songs are quite boring. There are a few bops, maybe it will grow on me. She needs to go back to her dance pop stuff that made her a star

This is the first full album I ever bought, and for good reason. I really can't fault any of the songs on here. You've got classic Kesha party hits like "Boogie Feet" and "Let 'Em Talk", a bit of country sound in "Boots" and "Old Flames" (featuring the iconic Dolly Parton) and the iconic and empowering new sound of "Praying". If you have £15 to spend on new music, there's nothing better you can buy with it than this.

This is easily the best pop record of the year, a versatile melting pot of genres ranging from rock bangers, to folk ballads to electro synth pop, Rainbow really has it all & it feels like an authentic step away from the generics as opposed to Lady Gaga's random country detour last year. Brilliant melodies, up lifting lyrics and awe inspiring vocals result in Kesha's best work to date and places her in her own league far from her other pop peers who pale in comparison.
