It’s a home-run, what can I say? Kesha has really come into her own over the years. THIS is the musician she was meant to be….a pop-singing rockstar, with a lil hint of country! Praying and Woman are perfect songs, and the rest of the cuts on the album are just as fun or emotional. Highlights are Hunt You Down and Spaceships.

This album is phenomenal. Finally we get to hear the real Kesha and her amazing vocals. Each song is unique and simply beautiful. I was not a big fan of her music before this, but this is truly magical. Love it!!! 💕

Kesha has been in my life for years, I'm talking back when she first started making music. She was an instant hit with me and I loved almost every song she produced. She was a queen to me as a young girl growing up and I always wanted to personally meet her. Around 2012-13 I noticed that she hadn't made much of an update in a while and was a bit confused. This was also around the time I learned my grandfather had cancer. In 2014, he passed away and I was thrown into a harsh depression. It seemed like every day I was threatening death or actively searching for a way to end myself, fight, anything. I wanted to feel more pain than I deserved. My grandfather was my everything. It was like losing a father. In 2016, I finally learned why Kesha had been gone for so long and all those days I spent in the past being in the dumps and threatening suicide seemed ridiculous to me. She had been in such a worse place and I, whom doesn't follow any faith, did pray multiple times that she would make it out of this in one piece. I stayed updated on her status constantly. Then once Praying was released, my heart soared. My favorite artist, one who had been with me for practically my whole life, had returned with a heart shattering song. I immediately purchased the entire album, no regrets. This album has helped me immensely in improving my mental health and physical appearance. I have taken an active role in trying to be a better person and I have to thank Kesha for it. Her music got me through 2014, 2015 and 2016 and I couldn't be more grateful. I am proud to say that I am going to see her in concert in June, close to the front row and my boyfriend has already promised me that he would buy me a VIP pass one day to actually meet the Queen herself. I wait for that day as it is, but I cannot wait for my life to be everything I had wished it would be.

So, I saw this on many year end lists from various music publications online and totally dismissed it. Thought it was a joke, perhaps pandering to mainstream pop fans. Saw it on too many lists to ignore it, decided to check it out and man, was I surprised. I now declare this one of my favourite albums of 2017. The tracks flow seamlessly, the writing at times smart and silly but enjoyable nonetheless. The Hooks and melodies just gets you sold on this album.

One word....dam praying is something Adele would sing while Kesha still keeps her roots in woman (unlike some others) it was well worth the wait love ya Kesha gurl

Every song has such raw emotion, and while still a couple of energetic songs, we see Kesha take a complete 360 and turn away from her poppy, electronic roots. Rainbow is an album about vulnerability and healing, forgiveness and finding true self. We take the ride over the Rainbow in to Kesha’s pot of gold, which she has had hidden from us for such a long time. Rainbow is a journey from start to finish. Not as much auto-tune on this album, the days of "Blow" and "Take it Off" are over. I do like at least half the album, while some songs I could easily skip. PRAYING is one powerful track, WOMAN is upbeat and fun, Let Em Talk, Hymn, Bastards and Hunt You Down are also stand out tracks. The duet with Dolly Parton is an epic fail, unfortunately their voices don't blend together at all, the intentions were good I'm sure but this song should have been cut fromt he album, it's bad....her deconstruction acoustic version from years ago she did solo was much better. The album does display a lot of good tracks, her debut album is still hard to top, this is definitly more cohesive album to date though.

It took a turn I really wasn't expecting, especially after hearing the first four songs that were available before the first album release. Even though I wasn't expecting it, it still blew me away.
