I’m shook, I mean I cried, this song has a hidden meaning, I think, I did some studying, and since Halsey broke up with her boyfriend, she hasn’t gone public with this song. Or maybe she wants people to think it’s about her boyfriend. “Does it ever get lonely up there”, as heaven, “the demons in your head” as in depression, “catch you if you fall” Suicide, drunk, overdose, “is it better up there?” (It says something like that) as in if it was worth dying, then again, don’t trust me, I’m crazy, and I might write more ;-; (my phone it almost dead and I can’t find my charger, so when I find it I’ll prob write about is somewhere) anyways, great song. Fact that you prob know: Halsey’s real name is Ashley, and Halsey is Ashley mixed up. Just saying, if your still reading this review, good job, I’m just some kid (I’m not telling u my age stalker -.-) that is sitting in his room that has nothing to do except write reviews on iTunes. Great song, buy it, and if your still reading, well, good job? I guess you’ll see me write another some stupid review like this on the more popular songs. Oof, I found meh charger, I just put alcohol on a open wound, and I’m very sensitive, so yea, but more about this, “maybe it was me you put you up there” maybe Halsey was kinda bipolar and screamed at whoever this song is about. Now, I’m just gonna not type while I’m putting stinging ointment on my cut, so yea You ppl r prob annoyed, STOP READING. But “trying love a thousand times” as in everyone rejected her? Idk. and maybe “get u off ur knees” maybe fertile position?

I feel like u can’t truly understand this song until you have experienced fake friends or a cheating significant other. After my graduation my “so called” friends (which I had considered a little bit more than acquaintances at the moment but not actual friends) had blocked out my face from graduation selfies, and had both ganged up on me to kick me out of the friend group. I still don’t understand to this day what I did to them that made them do that to me, and I am over it now, but the thought of it still stings. I listened to this song a lot after that. And I could relate to every lyric. If you ever experience what I did I just wanna let u know don’t let it get to you. Show them that you don’t care and that you’re life is going perfectly fine without them in it. That will show them that what they say doesn’t matter and what they did to you didn’t affect you. I did that and it worked 😏and it the girls who did this to me are reading this.. well I hope I never see you again. But anyway this is a greet song and I love it so much 🥰🥰🥰🥲🥲
