I’m excited for the album honestly. This song in particular I don’t think is necessarily anything special, but I do like it, and I especially loved the opening strings section. Huge fan of Ryan’s vocals and I hope that this album is more like their Native album rather than their OhMyMy album.

Onerepublic is my favorite band. Been a big fan of them since way back from the apologize song. But their starting to change and i still like their music still just not as much. But this song in particular to me is just really boring and doesnt do anything for me.

For the few people that have complained about the band having no real vocals or instruments as their sound has evolved, I just saw them live at Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis and they are 100% the real deal! Ryan Tedder is an amazing talent all around and they put on a killer live show. I love this song too!

This song can really speak to someone who feels like they’ve fallen off the path. Sometimes people need to know that there is someone willing to fight for them and support them as they try to find their way. “… time, it ain’t your lover …” Isn’t that the truth.

I heard this on the radio the other day, and the amount of times I got asked if I would rescue him got frustratingly tiring. I understand that it is pop, and it is common for words and phrases to be repeated throughout the tracks in this genre; but every two to three seconds, really?
