About Virgo World by Lil Tecca Album
Virgo World is Lil Tecca’s debut studio album, and serves as a follow up to his 2019 mixtape We Love You Tecca, released on September 18, 2020 — within the month that classifies as Tecca’s astrological sign, Virgo. Lil Tecca confirmed via an Instagram live on August 3, 2020 that the album will feature nineteen tracks alongside a few features. Tecca’s reasoning for the amount of features are to showcase how he sounds alongside other artists since his 2019 mixtape We Love You Tecca only had one feature, Juice WRLD. On August 2, 2020, Tecca posted a snippet of a collaboration between himself and Canadian artist, NAV on his Twitter, where he captioned the tweet “Virgo World Coming ♍,” hinting of a near release of the album. On August 26, 2020 — also Tecca’s eighteenth birthday, the lead single for the album, “Royal Rumble” released alongside a music video. On September 11, 2020, Tecca released the second single, “Our Time”, which also serves as the intro to the album. A music video for the track released hours later that day. Additionally, Tecca announced the release date of the album on his Twitter, confirming that it will release on September 18, 2020. On September 14, 2020 the official cover art for Virgo World was released, including hints throughout of past releases. Furthermore on the same day, Tecca held a promotion where fans could call a hotline which would play new snippets from the album, every day of the week leading up to the album’s official release. On September 15, 2020 the official track-list for the album was released which revealed that the album would include collaborations from Lil Uzi Vert, NAV, Polo G, Lil Durk and Guwop Reign.
