- Absolutely Garbage

Trying to beat lana del rey my queen.

- Should be called “Elton Sells Out”

You can always tell an aging artist on the way down. They resort to an album with younger (less talented in most cases) artists. Maybe after that they try standards or covers. Is that next for Elton? Then again, when was the last good original Elton John album?

- It’s okay.

I bought this album thinking it was going to be like a normal Elton album, I was let down by the quality. It sounds like horrible auto tune and some songs just sound poor quality not like Elton at all. I was excited for some of the artists on here as-well. It was interesting but not what I expected. Some of the artists just shouldn't be on here period horrible musicians. Like rap 🤮.

- Sorry, Not Good

There really is not much worth listening to here. And I've been listening to Elton for decades.

- Still Standing & Still Relevant

All of the 1 star reviews are about “masks” or jealous Lana fans lol (she wasn’t invited to sing) it’s not perfect but it’s perfectly good. Very entertaining assortment of music styles. Highly recommend!

- Sounds forced and thrown together

A handful of good tunes, but that's about if. If you're looking for one song, I would go with the Stevie Nicks tune.

- Three for effort

Elton John has been one of my favorite artists since the 1970’s and this is the first album I couldn’t get into. I don’t know how it made number one in the UK. It came across as weak and forced with a lot of the duets. I so wanted to love this album, but I just couldn’t. I give it a three for the effort of finding so many collaborators.

- I like it!

Elton has been making music and writing lyrics for many years, he is a legendary artist and I can’t wait to see him next year on his farewell goodbye yellow brick road tour. Negative reviews are full of it

- Great Album

This album is great! Better than I was expecting and I expect a lot out of Elton John. He works with so many artists and sounds wonderful!

- AWESOME!!!

I really love this cover! such a great combo. I love Mileys voice

- God is a word you capitalize, Elton.

- Lol

All the anti Vaxxers and maskers mad

- Album

Just bad in general.

- Surprisngly Good Album

It's a really surprising album with collaborations that, on the surface, shouldn't work. But wow, there are some really good tracks on this album. It's certainly better than his previous solo album effort.

- Um….

Could be better

- Some good, mostly bad. I agree w/ prior review

If you want to hear Elton play & sing over bad 2020's fake sounding, electronic, non-human music you'll have lots to choose from here. Please someone tell every pseudo musician out there that Auto-Tune vocals whether sung or rapped, is not creative nor exciting and most importantly sounds terrible.

- Elton is always #1

Fantastic Album…..

- 2. Trash

Elton is tired and 2. Trash!

- Awful

He would have sound better if he would have left his mask on while singing. Hang it up.

- Sounds terrible

You can’t put rappers with real music. This album is an old dude trying to be hip.

- Boring

Why all the features? Is someone a little jealous of all the attention their female counterparts get while adding features.

- LOVE IT!!!!!

I think it’s cool and I LOVE Elton John so it’s a win,win

- always love you!!!!

Elton John the versatility on this album is everything!! I am obsessed with “Always Love You” thank you for this amazing record. Nicki Minaj the queen of rap, her verse is so heartfelt and amazing! Thank you

- Elton is the man, and a true music fan!

I could go on about every track, but I think only one will suffice to prove its worth. When Elton et. al. can collaborate on a cover of a Metallica song, and plays Metallica better than Metallica, I have to bow to the Greatest Musician of our lives!!!

- The Grand-grandma is still the worst

The worst human being ever. This grand-grandma should simply Rest In Peace.

- Some good mostly bad

I love Elton John always will. However, i hope this isn’t the album he’ll retire on cos this album was surely disappointing other then maybe cold heart, e-ticket, and the song with stevie wonder, that’s all there really is to this project.

- Ok

Ok

- Great!

The music is fresh!

- Explicit? ELTON??

Nice....you bring in the rappers and the swearing starts. Elton, please.

- Lol the mask

He's afraid you'll give him covid through your phone

- Nicki track is a highlight

The song he features Nicki Minaj on is a highlight of the album!

- Eileen

this is right up there with Ethel Merman's disco album......

- Turned old school music with new music

A true artist makes the most out of what they have to work with he brought old school with new school that’s a smart move and makes his music live on!

- Needed the Money

I couldn’t write junk this bad if I was a 20 Year POW. Please stop Elton. Fire the landscapers, mow the lawn yourself.

- Fun listen

Elton and friends making some pretty interesting tunes. Mostly a feel good album with hip hop, rap, rock, soul and ballads. Not a boring song in the bunch.

- literally you flop.

sir your been in the music industry before i was born and it seems you need to retire bc it looks like you are trying to fit in with gen z 😡😡😡

- Love

Nice

- Definitely not Elton’s best

😥not the best

- Worst album I’ve ever heard

I enjoyed the collaboration/mix of Dua Lipa and Elton John. I figured the rest of the album would be just as good, but man was I wrong. Listening to Elton John screech along side or over other artists for an hour makes me want to stab out my eardrums. I enjoy all of Elton’s previous albums, but he sounds terrible in this. Calling it signing is a serious insult to anyone singing even at average skill level. Glad I listened through streaming to decide if I wanted to buy this.

- Bruh

Which is gayer him or this album?

- Sell-out

I’m sure he’s sold his soul long ago but if not this was it. Way to sell-out for your handlers and for a quick buck. The great reset is here

- It was ok

The songs were a mix of bad and decent but I still support Elton john.

- Elton and Current Music don’t mix

His worst album since Victim of Love. Yes Duets (1993) and Leather Jackets (1986) are better albums!

- yeah, not so much

You want this to sound better. It really wants to be a masterpiece but it is not at all. The only track worth anything is The Stevie Wonder track. The “Stolen Car” track is just terrible. He sings so loud over Stevie Nicks it tears down her vocals, which is fine because she doesn’t sound right anyway. This album is a pass.

- Disaster!

Only two songs are slightly good. One with Dua Lipa, and thats because they used his old song lyrics and the other with stevie wonder.

- F**k the haters

This is Elton’s best album in years. Most of the negative comments are about his “mask” and his perceived agenda, not about the music, because it doesn’t support the Big Lie they believe.

- Good

This album is everything i need❤️

- Ignore the haters

Most of the 1 star reviews aren’t even legit because you can tell they didn’t even listen to the album. They just came here to hate on Elton because they don’t like that he’s a Liberal. So they should not only be ignored but removed. Anyway this is a really Decent album with an interesting mix of old school and new artist collaborations and definitely worth checking out.

- Meh

Bland. I love Elton, but this isn't worth a second listen.

- Donda wipes

Thugger feature the only good part

- Something beautiful

another great Sir Elton John creation…

- Comments

It's too bad we can't leave comments for the comments. But hey. Good thing about the internet is anyone can puke up their stupidity for others to read.

- Some good, some not so good

I have been listening to Elton John ever since Greatest Hits was released in 1974 and I consider him my favourite male artist. This said, concerning this particular album, I find that some of the songs are very good, even brilliant (such as The Finish Line, After All, and Simple Things), while others could have been left out (such as Pink Phantom). Some songs are straight covers that offer little to nothing new in terms of interpretation (such as Nothing Else Matters and It's a Sin) and leave you wondering why they even bothered doing them (although I must admit I quite like Miley Cyrus' vocal on the former). But must songs are ... acceptable and relatively pleasant to listen to. However, one thing that permeates nearly every song is Elton's inability to keep up with most of the other artists vocally. But this is natural: the quality of your singing voice degrades as you get older, and Elton is no exception. What I find most tiresome is the forced/fake vibrato he insists on doing when he sings. On a positive note, his singing makes the others shine by comparison. So, do I recommend this album? Nnnnyes, I suppose I do. Any serious Elton fan will want to see what he’s been up to. It’s nice to see him collaborate with current and upcoming artists … even if it feels a bit desperate.

- Another great addition

I’m loving it, especially Cold Heart, Learn to Fly, and After All.

- Legendary

Each song transitions to a feeling that I needed to explore such as pride, sadness or even joy. The entire album is like weighted blanket or soft warm soup that bring you comfort you didn’t know you need

- Please retire

This man is too old. Please retire before you kill your legacy.

- Love it!

Nice selection of music and wonderful collaborations with very talented young artists. The more I listen the more I like. Wonderful!

- Hey

Nice

- Very surprised

One of the best songs I’ve heard from Elton in a very long time. Bravo!

- Awesome!!

Love these first two songs especially “After All”.

- Love it all

Every song is magical

- Worse than Covid

World: lockdown couldn’t get any worse Elton: hold my tiara 0/10

- catchy

love the songs very catchy well done elton

- Unbelievable!!!

This album is just gonna be amazing!!! Amazing work Elton your simply incredible!!!

- The truth

Elton you are an illuminati scum bag. Nothing but cheese

- Why does everyone like this??

The title says it all. Just bad. Cold heart is horrible and that’s my favourite genre. And I like a lotta genres. Everyone says Elton is the best but he is the opposite. Everyone here with a 1 star is the best. Everyone with 5 stars have nothing better to do in lockdown. 0/10

- Fantastic

This is going to brillant

- Perfect

I love it
