This is my most favorite Soundtrack. Crucifixion, Peter Denies Jesus, and Mary Goes To Jesus are my favorites. John Debney is one of the best composers. But I love this soundtrack and I like the movie as well

This soundtrack is what it needs to be. This music perfectly shows just how significant and important Jesus' physical death was, and makes his resurrection all the more triumphant.

I have not always been a fan of Debney's work, but his work on "The Passion" is absolutely excellent. Perfectly augments the story of Christ in this film. Definitely recommend to any big time soundtrack lover - and the movie is pretty moving as well, whether you believe Jesus was who He said He was or not.

The music was breathtaking eapecially in the movie when the earthquake had begun, and when the went on to show satan. That was unbelievable

this cd is amazing my dance studio elite dance by damian uses alot of these songs. when we compete the judges adore the dances that go with the song and always give us hagh sscores. othe dance studios ask us a compititions what song was that.( of course were not gonna tell them) but it does show us that they like our style. i would totally get this album if you have 10 buck get it. its worth it trust me!!!!!!!

Honestly, I can't praise this soundtrack enough. "Mary Goes To Jesus" is perhaps my favorite piece of music of all time. The sheer drama of the score is powerful and affecting with or without the film. This album is a must for fans of movie scores.

This is a most touching movie and a testament to God's love for man kind.

Even hearing the music gets me emotional. A great soundtrack, for a great man.

I cannot even begin to describe the impact that this soundtrack has on me every time I hear it. Debney did a fantastic job, God's light truly shines through this music. My favorite tracks are the first and last ones. The Olive Garden/Night Sky is mysterious with a hint of evil, which correlates perfectly with the horror that Christ was about to face. Resurrection has a very "grand" flavor and is very optimistic, which is perfect to go along with, in my opinion, the most grand and optimistic event to occur in all of history. I can't even begin to comprehend what Jesus faced, but this music gives great insight into the emotions he must have been facing. I love this music because it touches me in a way that words cannot. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

iTunes, this movie is just one of God's best ways to draw me back to Him, and to love Him all the more and to serve Him. It's an incredible experience! O my goodness, this music score is amazing!! Wow it captures so much depth and emotion that sends you on a roller coaster ride. Even without seeing the movie you can really feel the heart behind it all.(for example raising the cross) has such a pretty tone, but is chilling at the same time. Mary goes to Jesus is my favorite. Jesus Christ is so mighty and corageous! Thank Him and Believe in Him! For He has done wonderful things for us!!!

This is a perfectly arranged album. It has an amazing mix of Arabic wind instruments, and a strong, sad melody. This creates a perfect balance of sound. The use of vocals is superb. It carries all the emotion of the movie, and yet is independent musically. Thank You John Debney!

Simply one of the most captiving and moving soundtracks ever made. Gladiator is another one in this same vein. You can play the songs randomly in any order and still get the same effect of a coherent story being told. Sometimes you just run across music that transcends time and space. As I am writing this, the Peter Denies Jesus track just takes my spirit and breath away as I visually recount a well told story. Never mind on whether or not you/ve seen the movie, the music captivates your spirit in ways puts you in the world but of this world. The Flagellation of Jesus is perhaps one the most difficult scenes ever captured on film IMHO and represents the haunting conviction that we were all guilty just likes this soundtrack does. It can be difficult at times when you truly mediate and ponder in our soul. Job well done. If there is category beyond 5 Star rating this soundtrack would still surpass it.

A powerful music score....the music alone gives me chills. It actually makes me feel the effects of the film. Bravo to Mel and others for having this artist conduct the music!

This is the most beautiful soundtrack that I have ever listend to in my entire life. The music is put together so beautifully. When I saw the movie, all I could do was cry because I could not believe that someone would do this for me. I am so glad that I have him as my savior. I love the way the music flos with the movie. The music is amazing, and I would definately recommend that you buy this if you like instrumental albums.

That's all I can say while listening to this soundtrack. It is such and amazing, such a powerful, such a beautiful soundtrack, and most of all it makes you thank our Lord for what he did for all of us. My personal favorite songs on this soundtrack are "Mary Goes to Jesus", "Crucifixtion", and "Resurrection". Great soundtrack!!

"I was stretched every which way but loose," Debney said in an interview with Dan Wooding for WorldNetDaily. "I was stretched by Mel Gibson. I was stretched by the Guy Upstairs and also I was stretched by the guy downstairs. What it did was completely strengthen my faith and I have realized something very interesting. I had never before subscribed to the idea that maybe Satan is a real person, but I can attest that he was in my room a lot and I know that he hit everyone on this production. I had all these computers and synthesizers in my studio and the hard drives would go down and the digital picture that lives on the computer with the music would just freeze on his [Satan's] face. Then the volume would go to ten and it would happen all the time."

I know what hey had to go through,but they coverd it up CHRIST had only flesh really when they had got done scourging him they showed only his body full of blood.I got a queezy stomach after I saw the scourging. But they should put the movie on iTunes.

The movie is great! This powerful music is a fantastic side dish to the film. In my opinion the music isn't as moving without the images from the movie, but still great. Jim Caviezel did an amazing job depicting our Lord. Mel Gibson did an even better job directing, what I believe is the greatest movie ever created. The Holy Spirit guided Mel Gibson in creating this movie and guided John Debney in the soundtrack. This is a Catholic masterpiece! Credo In Unum Deum

I'm a big fan of movie soundtracks and this one is right up there to make your heart go in different places. "Resurrection" is my favorite.. It is my personal Carpe Diem theme music when I have to tackle something; I find myself doing a headbanging to it sometimes. "Mary Goes to Jesus" is a close second. As a mother, this really hits the feels. Love the drums, soaring notes, and, Middle Eastern flair of the score.

One of the best soundtracks ever!

Incredibly moving music to an unbelievable movie experience that is truly life changing! I've probably listened to this soundtrack, in particular the "Crucifixion" track hundreds of times. It is the perfect meditation music for praying, very inspirational, and can't help but tear up listening to it because of the scenes it corresponds to in the movie, that is why I like it so much. The music itself probably was inspired and sung by the Angels it's so beautiful, as attested to by the main femaile vocalist from the soundtrack. Simply put, like the movie, it does not disappoint, Incredible!

I did not purchase the whole album; only the one song, "Mary goes to Jesus", and it simply touched my heart. I reccomend this album to anyone who is a fan of "The Passion" movie. This is also very wholesome music to listen to. Being a twelve year old girl, I disagree about teens listening to rocky, sinful music. Al they are doing is filling thier head with abnoxious noise!

In most cases i find my emotional side to be sealed from the outside. "Mary Goes to Jesus" truely brought inspiration to me and almost tears. I higly recommend this song at least, and also others that i enjoyed from the previews.

I have seen this movie twice. I am 14 y.o. and I think this movie is extremely sad. It is also true. This movie is a documentary, and it tells exactly what happened when He was crucified. I belive that this movie should be added to iTunes. I would definately buy it.
