Listened to the album and wow!!! She’s just as soulful and melodic as ever!! Grew up listening to her diverse range and style that I still get goosebumps to this day listening to her music. Get that bag queen!!

I love Alicia, but this is garbage. I can’t even connect to one song. If you say this album is good, you are lying or in denial.

Most of her unlocked songs remind me of old AK and I love it! RnB is where it’s at. My favorite might have to be Old Memories.

Real genius artistically. The vocals, the engineering, the lyrics, and the range of musical styles is amazing. Super sexy and sultry, romantic, bluesy, just phenomenal. Come for Me ft. Khalid and Lucky Daye is Wow. Nat King Cole ft. Lil Wayne is banging. My favorite of ALL her work!

A strong reminder of why Alicia is the best selling R&B artist of her time. From originals to the unlocked sounds, there’s something for everyone. We even get a track or two penned and produced solely by Keys and it’s pure magic.

While the Unlocked side of the album is more enjoyable, the physical cd’s that are now coming out are short a few tracks on both sides of the project. Some songs are left off of originals and unlocked which means we’re kinda forced to buy the full project here, which is a tad disappointing

Snoozefest. She needs an album to the caliber of Girl On Fire or As I Am before I’d consider buying another album by her. At this point she’s simply putting out albums due to her narcissism and status as an “elite”.

This album definitely has some Rock n roll influences that we haven’t heard from her before. It’s a great album. You should purchase.

This is just a bad idea that I can't believe got released. I just listened to the entire thing and overall I just think it's not a good direction for Alicia. I wanted to like Billions and Daffodills. The backing tracks you can tell were an experiment on the entire thing. But what the producers failed to realize is that it's very distracting. I would classify them as psychadelic and the take away any redeeming quality of Alicia's voice. It's drug addict sounds. The songs are below average and very boring. They need to be developed. They don't allow Alicia to showcase her voice. I wouldn't even call thiis style R&B, Hip Hop, Singer Songwriter, Contemporary. It's more hippy cocaine folk if I had to pin point a genre. It's all forgettable. No need to release 2 versions of bad songs. I will look forward to her next album because I think it can't hit more rock bottom than this.

This double album is a masterpiece! The Originals are so beautifully sung and orchestrated. She really showed off all of her amazing talent. The unlocked side has all of these great beats and is full of positive vibes!

Just last year she released her self titled album ALICIA which was really different than anything she released before. That was her best album since The Element of Freedom showing us a new side of her sound. But with this album KEYS she was able to forward that new sound but also going back to her roots of playing the piano which made us fall in love with her in the first place. This album is a double album having 2 sides “originals” and “unlocked” letting the listeners choose between which sound they like the best with most of the songs having two versions. You might think that your just gonna like the “originals” with that glorious piano but once you move into the “unlocked” side you’ll soon see that you’re torn between each version of the songs. I would have to give this album a 9/10 Alicia Keys didn’t compromise at all with this album giving us what we all wanted plus more that we didn’t think we needed till now!

Alicia keys, is amazing, gifted, talented, she can sing she’s beautiful and very creative, I love this album one of her best work. keep giving us all your creative warm and soulful, cool vibe. She’s one of my favorite. Female music artist.

This album reminds me just how much music has been missing Alicia Keys’ voice. She takes a fresh approach to this album and re-envisions what is intended to do. I don’t think every song on this album is meant to be loved - I think it is meant to be explored, for the listener to find what resonates most with them and lose themselves in it. I found my niche on both sides of the album and really enjoyed the creative journey. If you are expecting something else, I can see how you might be disappointed. Alicia Keys’ voice has always brought with it so much soul - the type that stops you in your tracks after just a few notes. I really miss that in music today and this album is a great reminder that it can still be found.

I love it when artist evolve and give us something from their core. From Track 1 to 26, just let this thing play and ride with KEYS for an 1 hour & 34 mins.

As someone who has been listening to Alicia Keys since 2001 I had really high hopes for this album. The originals part starts off with a track reminiscent of her debut. From there it goes more folk and instrumental. The originals are more for relaxing and mellowing out to. Not bad but the unlocked was more of my favorite. More upbeat etc I am happy the album artwork was animated (Thanks BTW for deleting my review again Apple!) I am happy I pre-ordered and IMO not a bad album but Alicia album was better.

I have always been a fan of hers, but I feel this album is more true to her and not trying to stay relevant which in-turn makes this album relevant. Great variety musically speaking while still having her great voice and piano skills showcased!

KEYS is a great record, full of smooth, beautifully orchestrated songs. Keys' voice floats in perfedt harmony over the tracks; she doesn't strain or oversing (Is it Insane might be an exception). It's a mature record, crafted for deep listening, not disposable pop consumption. I haven't enjoyed Alicia Keys since her first album, so I didn't expect to love this as much as I've grown to. The 10 "unlocked" versions are nice variations on the originals, a little funkier. Without a couple of syrupy tracks at the end of disc 1, I'd have given 5 stars. Still, it's a very fine album.

Another quality album full of substance. Something clearly lacking in a lot of other current artist. She’s no Sade because she’s not meant to be. She is Alicia Keys and has been a PHENOMENAL overall artist since day one. KEYS is brilliant work. It’s sad that people don’t want to see others grow. The hate is so unnecessary as well completely pointless because her fan base and blessings continue to multiply!!!

I absolutely love this album. It definitely didn’t get the hype or airtime that it deserved. The originals take you back to early Alicia days and the unlocked songs still have her sound with something extra. You can hear her love for music. The songs are beautifully written and sung. Another timeless album that will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Alicia Keys seldom disappoints. Her voice soars with such soulful grace, it elevates whatever song she's on. Amid the lush piano sounds, her music is so distinct, it's like flaoting high on clouds. This is a worthy album to keep.

Alicia Keys been washed up. It’s time to hang it up with this old cash grab of an album. I had to turn this off within the first few songs it was just dull and boring. Please hang it up and go ahead and apply for that job a Taco Bell 🌮 🛎

This is a typical Alicia Keys album so if you’re expecting anything more you’re going to be highly disappointed. Unless artists of her time completely crossover genres don’t expect anything “new” to come from them. They are who they are at this point. These tracks aren’t anything we haven’t heard from her before. If there’s any takeaway for her true fans just be happy you have new music to memorize and sing along to because you aren’t getting much else. How many “new tricks can you teach and old..” well, you know the saying.
