Get over it already. JD is a great front man and has given INXS a new life. Switch is very good and they are great in concert. Hutch is not coming back but INXS is reborn.

This is the best album IMHO. The music is a masterpiece and J. D's voice fits it perfectly.

I wrote a review of this album when it first came out, but it looks like they all got deleted...so, i'll repeat what i had to say about it...it's an abomination to music and the INXS name. It's poorly written, poorly executed and they should be ashamed of themselves. If you want the real INXS, try anything released before the year 2000. I'm just sayin'.

Switch is one of the best albums ever from Inxs. There is not a dull song on this album from beginning to end and the album shines. J.D. Fortune makes the songs worth listening to and this album sounds like a 80's album to me. I have always liked Michael, but Inxs deserves to move on and be a band with J.D. If the Michael Inxs fans do not like the new Inxs, don't bother listening to it, and let the fans enjoy Inxs. Me and my wife saw Inxs twice in 2006 and they were great in concert. Give Inxs a chance.

Having been a HUGE fan of the Original INXS, I thought it was going to be impossible to replace Michael. I was dead wrong. Ididn't follow the reality show at all, and probably so much the better. The first time I heard "Pretty Vegas", I thought what old INXS album was this on and how did i ever miss it. It's a classic example of how good this album really is. Take the time to check it out, you will be very happy with the results

I'm an INXS die hard fan, JD get's my approval, which is strange, I didn't think I would like him at all. I do! I hope he keeps his head up and I support. Great cd.

This isn't my taste in music. Music is subjective, like all art, and so I'll just say it's not for me.

This has to be one of INXS's greatest albums yet! I love " Like it or not ", " Perfect Strangers ", " Devil's Party ", and almost all of them! I pray that INXS makes another album real soon. They are just so amazingly talented and great musicians. I LOVE INXS!!!!

I had the privilege to see INXS w/JD Fortune recently in San Francisco. I saw INXS in 86 in a bar in Hartford CT and again in '88 in an arena in Philadelphia. Own all the Michael-era albums (!) and CDs. Broke my heart when Michael died. I didn't really get into the reality show, though I had checked it out a couple of times. So I wasn't sure I'd be able to truly relax and enjoy a concert without Michael. Was I ever wrong! JD rocked the house - he's cute, fun, and sexy as sin! And what a treat it was to see all the rest of the band up there playing their hearts out and loving every minute of it! JD has done an excellent job making the older songs his own, without trying to "be" Michael, and the new material is just as great as the hits from Kick and X (which I consider their best 2 albums). Switch will join the INXS rotation in my iPod and I'll be keeping my ears open for more - yeah!

I took my son to see the new version of INXS and we had such a good time. Every tune had the crowd totally into the music. They played together so well, and JD had the crowd in the palm of his hand. You could tell they enjoyed being on the big stage again. This CD was not promoted well in the US and did not do well. It went gold in Canada, Australia the UK and many other countries. Give it a try. I promise it will grow on you. The intro to Gods Top Ten is sung by Suzie McNeil and the whole song is beautiful. This CD has elements of rock and also has a few very well done easy listening tunes. It is also amazing to me that the CD was shipped to me less than 2 months from the end of the Rockstar INXS TV show where they picked JD Fortune to replace the irreplaceable Michael Hutchens . . . JD did not replace Michael. He is his own man. Finding JD enabled this great band to continue it's legacy of being (in my opinion) one of the greatest musical shows I have ever seen (and I have seen many)! These are extraordinary musicians!

I'm sorry. I just don't like it. J.D. is a good singer, but he isn't even close to Michael. Michael Hutchense is one of the greatest singers of all-time, so it is basically impossible to fill into his shoes.

How could anyone ever fill Michaels shoes? That was my question. Its been answered the real INXS is back. If i did not know better Michael was right there with JD beltin out every song with the same look and movements of old. Do i recommend this CD? A for sure Yes and also see them in concert it is a birth of newness that the music industry needed. Welcome back INXS and dont go away again! Stay around and bless us all for years to come we need it!

This is one of the best albums that I own J.D. is a perfect match to Michael Hutchens I think that he is a great artist and a very good performer.

I bought this as soon as it came out. Loved it from the beginning, lost the album, found it here and still love it. Great Job and Kudos to the band, old and new.

I'm sorry, but to me, Michael Hutchence was and still is the only singer for this band. JD does an ok job, trying to keep the spirit alive for this band. He's young and amateurish, but has potential. The music is ok, as INXS can still rock out a few great tunes and JD is a nice replacement. But, I still prefer Michael. I know the band has to move on, but Michael Hutchence had such a unique voice that went well with their music. While J.D. Fortune sounds kind of like Michael, he's not Michael Hutchence, who was a talented lyricist that cowrite almost all of INXS' greatest hits and then some. I don't think "Pretty Vegas" can hold a candle to classics like "Spy Of Love", "What You Need", "Never Tear Us Apart", "New Sensation", "Listen Like Thieves", "Not Enough Time", "Don't Change", "This Time", "Biting Bullets" or anything that Michael Hutchence and INXS have written in the past. Now that the hype of "Rock Star" has died down, I guess we'll have to see how J.D. and the boys fare on the next album.

I have been an INXS fan for decades. “KICK” was my first CD that I ever purchased and I saw them live on the ‘X Tour’ back in Portland OR circa 1990. This album is like a modern refresh sound of it “KICK” and more.I wish I heard of it before a few days ago. - I am also really sorry that JD Fortune is out of the band due to drugs, if that is the reason. The Ferris brothers and the rest of the band should help a brother out and check out Narconon. They lost Michael to drugs. Let us not loose more. Maybe it would salvage the band in present time. I would love to see more of them!

It is definately not Michael Hutchence...it's JD Fortune...I really like this album as an attempt for a comeback, too bad they already cut their ties with Fortune, I think they had something here. I never got to see the new INXS live but I still have great memories of seeing them with Michael.
