Okay, all the other songs on the Album are good and all the hype is for Dance The Night Away??? I am just in disbelief that Dance The Night Away is the main hit. It’s the same verse threw out the song and Ive heard more creative movie anthems then this. I even appreciate Billies track. It would of been better if they used I’m A Barbie Girl but just a cleaner version. I would be satisfied.. DTNA is not that great, another verse at least would make it a tune.

It really speaks to the state of music that three of the makings from this album rely on samples for their hook. But I guess that’s in the spirit of Barbie, since she was really an original idea herself (see Bild Lilli)

Dua Lipa’s track sounds the exact same as her other songs, just not in the tolerable way at this point, whereas all the other tracks (so far) are incredibly generic.

Hope Ava Max song will save this soundtrack. The available songs in pre-order is almost worst then the movie preview. Ryan Gosling is to old to play Ken. This movie look like more a parody. Also the fact that Ryan sing a song make that thing more bad than ever. Sadly, the song by Nicky Minaj is the worst of the album. She did better at the beginning of 2010 with her solo carrier.

okay so i’ve been looking at the other comments and most are very unreasonable i mean there are two major types of comments, the die hard fans who are majorly saying that because it’s trendy (sorry if using the word trendy sounds cringy) or the people claiming that everyone and everything is unoriginal and bland. Okay so now ima get to the point. The actual film wasn’t anything special but it was entertaining and fun. if i had to give the film a rating it would be 79%. Now for the songs. I have to admit i can’t remember some of the songs there but i will give a fair review of all the songs i can. Pink- Very clever the way it fits into the film. Not sure it’s playlist worthy but some parts are catchy 7 out of ten. Dance the Night- it’s one of the better songs there, it’s catchy but very similar to some other songs in the film. 8 1/2 /10 What was I made for- not exactly my cup of tea. it fit in well in the film but otherwise it is bland and kinda depressing but if that’s what you like, i’ll leave u to it! 4/10 Choose your fighter- Best one! v catchy beginning! 9/10 Barbie world- Ice Spice’s part was 🥳🔥 but the nicki minaj part at the start sounded really abrasive and annoying 7 1/2 out of ten speed drive- fits the film but not too sure about it? it’s okay but there’s something weird abt it Im just ken- clever lyrics a bit kristoff in frozen 2 ish if you ask me but it’s a 8 from me dahlings XOXO ur welcome 😉😘😘

A mixed bag,. The Dua Lipa track rules the soundtrack,. Sam, Smith, Ava Max , Billie Eilish and Fifty, Fifty adding support,.but the highlight is the Ryan Gosling track ( I’m Just Ken) Where it falls down are with the tracks that aren’t good,. The Nicki Minaj track is pretty terrible, closely followed by Kid Laroi and Khalid..it works better if these are substituted for the original Aqua- Barbie Girl and the two tracks from the trailer (Fun, Fun, Fun -Beach Boys and Make Your Own Kind of Music- Mama Cass) the tracks are mostly too short and it promises high camp that it forgets about as it goes on. So, a BARBIE trip that could have been better.

So, the ‘Barbie Movie’s soundtrack. I’m reviewing it after seeing the movie, so be aware, spoiler alert! 🔔 Pink (Lizzo) - Very good, clever how it’s made to fit in with the movie; the lyrics are basically what happens on-screen! It’s fun, upbeat and totally fits in with the ‘Barbie’ theme. Dance The Night (Dua Lipa) - Good song but sad that there’s not the full version in the movie!! It’s not as Barbie-ish as some other songs, but good. Barbie World (Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice) - OK, but why not include the original in the movie?? Also it’s not actually in the movie, only in the credits… Speed Drive (Charli XCX) - Good and fits in well the the movie. I just find it’s very repetitive. It’s okay but not my favourite. WATATI (KAROL G & Aldo Ranks) - Okay but it’s not really in the movie, only for like 1 second. I find this one of the better songs on the album! Man I Am (Sam Smith) - If you’ve got this far, well done :) you obviously want to know all about the movie! ‘Man I Am’ is a bit OTT (over the top) for me. I mean, it’s just about men being sexy— Journey To The Real World (Tame Impala) - Good and probably like the best song on the album. For once, nothing too noisy, crazy or annoying… I’m Just Ken (Ryan Gosling) - First of all; why is this song on the album? It doesn’t follow the movie’s storyline AT ALL!! Spoiler- it’s like he’s fighting to get patriarchy into Barbie Land, and then next minute he’s singing this?! But still definitely Kristoff Frozen 2 vibes— Hey Blondie (Dominic Fike) - Boring. It’s not even in the movie — it might have just passed me by — but from what I saw? Not in the movie, anyway, it’s boring as I said. Home (HAIM) - Okay, but not my thing. It’s just a bit boring (like parts of the movie) and is irrelevant for the storyline… it’s quite a sad song though… like the movie. What Was I Made For? (Billie Eilish) - Sad. Moving. That’s all I can say… it makes you cry (not sure if that’s good or bad). Forever & Again (The Kid LAROI) - It’s not in the movie; like half of the songs on the album. OK-ish (I like some of The Kid LAROI’s songs) very very much The Kid LAROI. Silver Platter (Khalid) - This song is SO underrated but it’s SO good. One of my favourites!!! Sad that it’s in the movie for like 1 sec though… Angel (PinkPantheress) - Boring. Pointless. Just squashed into the movie so they could say they’ve got PinkPantheress on the album. butterflies (GAYLE) - What?! Not Barbie at all. GAYLE needs to find a better movie to make a song for. Choose Your Fighter (Ava Max) - Oh my gosh! So good! Ava Max does it so well every time. Upbeat, amazing… given the actual movie isn’t that great, they should’ve found a better movie to put such a good song on! Barbie Dreams (FIFTY FIFTY & Kaliii) - So Barbie-ish. But not in the movie? Why? Given this is 100% Barbie style? ——— Overall for soundtrack: I’d rate the soundtrack 89% as it’s got good songs but some not so good. Overall for movie: It’s quite sad mid-way through and near the end, so 31% because it’s good for first part but then it gets really bad and about patriarchy 🥱 and Ken wants to be all sexy 😒 and it’s too sad. They make this movie about Barbie, a kids’ toy, and then they make it completely unsuitable for kids. They rate it 12A… every person is different, and younger can watch it (I’d say 9+), but even viewers 12+ may find it upsetting… in fact, I think probably at least 60% of people would find it upsetting at any age. 💕 I’ve rated this 3-stars, because not all songs are in the movie, and some are boring and not good. 💕 ~ The movie is like 2-stars… ~ Goodbye 👋

Overrated performers (not singer), auto tuned. Most can’t sing live, and sounds like a strangled cats. They have no real stage presence or rhythm. These (can we call it a songs) sounds like every other songs out there. They will disappear like most of the new artists who just have quick cash grab records. Boring 🥱
