It's still great music.

I don't care if there is a narator in some of the songs. That does not stop the amazingness of these songs.

If you are looking for a beautiful, uninterrupted version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, this is NOT what you want. Unfortunately, I bought a song from this album without realizing that parts of the music are narrated. Why someone would want to narrate such beautiful music and completely ruin the experience is beyond me. I do not reccomend this album to anyone.

I bought the song and was listening and enjoying it when lo and behold, someone started narrating the song. Ruined the whole experience. Should have gotten a warning the song would have been ruined in 2 spots so I wouldn't have bought it. What a waste.

This is a narrated life/biography of Beethoven interspersed with music for aural illustration. If you're looking for bits and pieces of Beethoven's music you'd best go elsewhere. The whole 4 CD set needs to be listened to to be appreciated.

The only thing i had a problem with was that on the fifth symphony, right after the opening, the music is stopped and a man starts talking it's only about 5 or 10 seconds but it's very distracting and disruptive. I don't know if it happens throughout the entire album but I'm assuming it does.

The narrator speaks in the Fifth Symphony, First Movement, which I did not expect, as it's not in the preview. I'd think twice about buying individual songs from this album, unless you want to hear random comments as you listen.
