This album is just as great as the movie!!! I love this movie!!! I would recommend this album to any fan of the movie. Only, buy the full album from the store. That's cheating; making people buy the entire album just to get "All That Jazz" and "Nowadays"!!! That's just rude!!!!

I think this is a pretty good CD just to listen to and possibly dance to. I saw this musical live in my hometown, and after watching it made me want to buy the soundtrack.

Although I have never seen a stage production of the show, I have listened to a few of the corresponding albums, and none of them live up to this version, featuring the songs from the movie adaption. Here, the singing is top notch (which is NOT the case with the other albums), and the arrangements of the songs are very lively - much more so than the other albums out there. I'm sure it is quite the experience seeing it onstage, but for listening at home, I would recommend this version over the others by a long shot (this is one of the few exceptions where the movie soundtrack trumps any of the stage productions' albums).

Sorry guys, but my favs are probably All I Care About, I Can't Do It Alone, and We Both Reached for the Gun. Cell Bock Tango is next on the list though. ANYWAY, this album is fill with jazzy, upbeat music that is sure to satisfy and jazz lover. I would suggest buying the whole album so you can have Overture / And All That Jazz and Nowadays / Hot Honey Rag. Both are fabulous songs. Of course, thats not to say the rest of the album isn't. Oh, and RICHARD GERE IS SEXY!!! <3 Okay. Thats all. Go buy the album. Now. ... Bye.

I absolutely love the movie and the soundtrack, but as soon as I got it I had to delete those awful hip-hop extras! I was planning to buy everything but the hip-hop songs but then I saw that All That Jazz was album only and therefore had to buy the album, hip-hop extras and all.Really wish I didn’t have to waste $3 on songs I don’t even like.

I personally think nowadays and hot honey rag shouldn't be in album only. I really like that song.

from the minute i saw this movie's trailer, i have loved it. an all-star cast with jaw-dropping vocals + a hit broadway show= box office gold. in my theatre appreciation class, we watched this and everybody loved it. it is absolutely well-wortth the $10! it's never left my ipod. i had a few problems burning it to cd though, but i'm pretty sure that was just me. where else can you get a cd like this for ten bucks? i can't think of anywhere. oh, and a few reviewers have posted concerns about this soundtrack missing songs. "all that jazz" is definitely there, it's just at the end of the overture. and as far as there being extra songs when you search "chicago the musical", those songs aren't here because they weren't in the film. however, they are featured in the broadway play. often when a broadway play is re-created for film, songs they don't have time/space for are cut from the movie. hope this helps. buy the cd. it's excellent. favorite songs all that jazz funny honey when you're good to mama roxie razzle dazzle cell block tango (the rap)

One of my favorite musical movies. The sound track is truly amazing. Favorite song out of the mix, "All That Jazz". Quality of the sound files excelent. Whenever I try to play When You're Good to Mama, I get the first 12 seconds then nothing! But if I play the preview given in the iTunes Store it will work. Do I need to re download the song or buy the CD and put it on my iTunes from there? Has this happened to anyone else and if so do you know how to fix it?

One of my all-time favorites in the soundtrack/Broadway categories. Who knew that Zeta-Jones, Zellweger, and Gere had the chops? They hold their own alongside their stage show counterparts, in fact, I like Catherine Zeta-Jones' rendition of "All That Jazz" better than Chita Rivera in the original cast recording. And Queen Latifah is GREAT!

Chicago is the best musical ever. If you've never seen it, GO. Watch it NOW. Each song is unique and clever and catchy, and I would recommend buying the whole album. Catherine Zeta-Jones is such an amazing singer, dancer, and actress and she pretty much makes the movie, along with John C. Reilly. However, even the less talented singers do a great job. This is my favorite musical, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Chicago has alot to offer! It's orchestral music is great and the singers are amazing! This album is just a great broadway album the best song on the album would have to be Cell Block Tango!

my all time favorite musical. i saw it on broadway the other week...even better than the movie, and the movie is GREAT. the songs are absolutely impossible to get out of your head-i've been singing 'and all that jazz' for weeks. :))) also, when i went to see the show, chandra wilson was playing mama morton..she's on greys anatomy so that was cool.

This album has some good parts, but really, go for the broadway album. Either the 1975 original or the 1996 revival would be better than this.

This album doesn't have the right songs. Some of the songs are right but for cell block tango its some wired thing with queen latifah

Great Best Musical Comedy to date

OMG!!!!! I saw the play at a local high school (a VERY good local high school) and it was INCREDIBLE! Amity High School in Woodbridge, CT. I'm breathless.

Chicago is my all-time favorite musical and the cast for the movie was outstandingly perfect! The music and vocals are sexy and fun! Jazz is a great style of music. Cell block tango and Roxie make me smile. The extras are nice too, I wish I was more into hip-hop so I could appreciate it more.

The best songs on here in order are 1. Cell Block Tango (9/10) This song is just amazing. The music is catchy, the dialogue is hilarious, Velma sings great...it's just an awesome song. 2. When You're Good to Mama (8/10) This is another funny one, but it's also got really good music and lyrics. Queen Latifah is great, and this is probably one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. 3. Roxie (7 1/2 10) This is cute. It's a good song to sing and perform, and Renee Zelwegger sings it really well. 4. And All That Jazz (7/10) This is another amazing Velma song.

We did "And All That Jazz" and "Cell Block Tango" in my bands marching show. And i would like to say that i personally love Cell Block Tango!

I've memerized every word to every song, I think this is the most amazing soundtrack I've ever listened to! You definantaly won't be dissapointed!

This movie came out when i was seven so i never really got see it untill a few years later but my mom bought the soundtrack and i listened to every song over and over again i loved them all so much i memorized all the words to each song! Catherine Zeta-Jones was amazing i think she was born to play the role of Velma Kelly and Renee Zellweger was a great Roxie Hart they both have amazing voices these song made me want to be on stage and so i am now thanks to these songs PS the movie is amazing watch it!

This is a FAB musical. It is full of razzle-dazzle (no pun intended) and is really fun to listen to! I love it alot and i watch it on youtube but then i just said forget it, i am just going to buy it.

I remember when the film came out and everyone was raving. I was quite young so never saw it, but some of the songs I can still remember. I went on to You Tube and listened to them over and over and over and over again one day and I just couldn't stop. Haven't seen the movie yet (though I know the story) and it is still amazing. Almost every song is fun and exciting which is something you can not say about all musicals. I extremely suggest you buy this album.

This is my favourite movie, I didn't know all these stars were so talenetd. They did a great job but the CD is by far the best part. Worth every penny and an exellent choice. ; )

If you enjoyed watching the film the music is definetly a must. Renee Zellweger, Queen Latifah and Catherine Zeta Jones make the music priceless. I watched it on stage a few weeks ago and i was slightly dissapointed it wasn't as good as the film but it was still great. this album however, is a must for anyone who loves musicals.
