I love most of these songs, they have awesome beats, and you can really dance to them. BUT, I've noticed there are songs missing, that are in the movie, and I'd love for some of the remixes they used in there to be in here, which is a real bummer.

I really enjoyed the movie and the music in it. I have been wanting the soundtrack since I first watch the movies but I have to say I am a bit disappointed in some of the songs on the album. There were so many great songs and mixes in the movie I was hoping they would have them on the album or another album dedicated to the mixes they did for the major dance scenes other than that I love the album.

Absolutely do not waste your money. Only one song on album is good. None of the "dance off" songs are featured. You can't preview certain songs at all. Bad bad purchase
So I love Step Up 2, heck I love all the Step Up's. The music is awesome, the dances are awesome. My only problem with the Step Up 2 Soundtrack is that not all the songs ARE NOT ON IT. You'd think a soundtrack would include ALL the songs from the movie. But no. =P So now I'm stuck having to find and look up the other songs. And half the songs were edited and changed around so the version from the movie isn't even available. Thanks guys... nahh really, I mean it...
these r good songs to dance to but their are more songs in the movie than the one on the soundtrack good thing their is a imix with more songs from the movie
The best song BY FAR is Bounce by Timbaland, featuring Missy Elliot, Justin Timberland, and Dr. Dre. I also wish iTunes had included the mash up of the songs, but eh. Still quite good :) Great buy!
This is by far the best soundtrack I've ever seen. It has a whole bunch of new songs, and the only songs that are album only you can get somewhere else. I like both of the Missy songs, and the Cassie one. I also like Can't Help But Wait.
This album is just.... I just can't describe it it's so good!!! The best song is Low Push Shake your pom pom Ching a Ling Killa Some of the song you can just get on the album but I would buy it just to hear those songs!!
I think that it was a good soundtrack. But I also noticed that i was not able to find all of the music that i wanted off the soundtrack.I spicifically wanted the songs at the end during the final danve(greatest dance of all time) But other than that i think it was a goo soundtrack.!!!!!!

About three quarters of this soundtrack is pretty good,as well as the movie being amazing,it's by far the best of the three.Some of the songs on here are however a bunch of loudly yelled words,though. At least three stars.

This Album is a masterpiece. I listened to the songs on iTunes previews and thought that some were quite good. Although after watching the Movie i came to like the songs even more. They match great with the style of the movie and street dance, and all in all have a GREAT beat. If you are thinking about buying this Album go ahead. It will make a great adition to your iPod!!!!!

saw the movie last night on austar, terrible...all about romance, and w*f is with the main character! all she wears is a spageti strap top the whole film when she's like 15 years old. I was pissed at the music as well, P*m-P*m? w*f is wrong with you elliot! and they effed up a good t-pain song, church by skrewing up the lyrics, PATHETIC!!!!

The movie was absolutely hot ! The choreography was amazing and the dancers too. After hearing these songs in the movie u just wanna get up and dance and hip-hop till u drop !
The best parts of this album are obviously the high energy dance tracks. However, the other songs are equally strong, and hip hop legend Scarface delivers more awesome verses here. A bit too much pop for my liking, but if you can get into it, you will love it.

When i listened to the samples of these songs i couldnt tell the difference between each one. It all sounds the same, just like annoying thumps and claps which are repeated in every hip hop song. Please, kids listen to something that is more indivisual than this.

they didnt put the song Bounce on, Bounce is at the end of the movie in the rain seen its one of the best parts of the movie but the song is not on this CD low is the best song its is soo fricing good!
