I can't tell you how good this album is. Listen to this from front to back late @ night blitzed. Classic material.

This is a great album. Go listen to it, and listen to Oh No's work with Gangrene, his collaboration with Alchemist. I think that work is even better. Oh No is a force in his own right. Stop the comparisons, he is not the same kind of musician as his brother. Which is good, there should only be one Madlib.

In terms of Stones Throw hip hop snippets, this one fares better than Madlib's Movie Scenes, but less than Donuts (but Donuts belongs to Dilla, and that's a hard one to top). I'm liking how these stones throw producers put their beats on wax, just so you can get a taste of what drives them. Good cd to just chill out to while doing your day to day. Buy it.

OH NO made this hole album from an old record by a turkish artist called SELDA, the HAVEY beat is a song called Ince Ince by SELDA and Peanut butter Wold used one of her tracks for a Percee P song. If you like this album got cop Selda's album she inspired this entire album and deserves credit for it.

This album is dope.. Oh No can make some sweet Beats.. Having Madlib as a brother probably influenced him.. If your like me and u like instrumental albums then u need this..

I love instrumental projects that offer a lot of bang for the buck. 28 tracks - nothing but beats. That's a lot of work - but OhNo and his brother are both very prolific behind the boards. I love hearing the raw stuff on this record.

First impressions: not as good as Donuts or Beat Konducta: Movies Scenes--but DAMN close. (Those are some incredibly high standards to be held against). Probably more accessible than those other two. This will be in my car for weeks, thank you Michael and PB Wolf! Stones Throw is heating up again for 2007! Don't hesitate to use all your downloads, this is a must have and not available elsewhere until 8/14. Oh No bring da raw heat!

I addition to the review that mentions Selda, Oxpermient also contains a fair amount of Ersen samples. Both Ersen and Selda albums that Finders Keepers has put out are great. I suggest you check them out. I think they might even be on itunes. As for Oxperiment, it is pretty good if not a tab repetative like a lot of trip-hop. Overall, some great ideas and certainly enjoyable to throw on for a party or just bob your head to on those late nights. Might inspire some beat-makers not firmiliar with Turkish samples since more than half (possibly all?) of the songs contain some.

Just enjoying listening through the songs. Always cool to be able to pick up some instrumentals and ride bent. And we lovin' the remix you hooked up for us Mr. No!!

This is definitely up there with J Dilla's Donuts and Madlib's Beat Konducta series. Some of the most exotic beats and grooves I've ever heard.
