I was very impressed by the new album.....grown up and very insightful. It's an inspiring disc that deserves to be put way above some of the meaningless songs on radio right now.

Clay isn't that good to me. I don't care for him. His voice made me laugh when I heard it because it was so bad. And this all is coming from the guy who said Adam Lambert's voice was bad. FYI Clay: You're voice ain't so great ethier!!!!! Calling Adam's voice bad when his own voice is WAY worse is pitiful. I laugh at him. Clay, ever wonder why you DIDN'T win American Idol???? I don't like this album or Clay's voice. I don't recomend this. Period.

After the American Idol machined produced "Measure of a Man" and the unfortunately misguided "A Thousand DIfferent Ways" Clay has finally hit a home run witht his this album. This is easily his best album yet as it plays to his sound, strength and style perfectly. As a fan of his, I love this album and think if you like good adult contemporary music you will love this one as well!

I love this CD. Its lyrics come back to you hours after hearing them, making you say “Yes! That’s just how I have felt sometimes.” My favorite songs are “As Long as We’re Here” and “Grace of God,” two songs for people who wonder at the world’s suffering. Some of the songs, especially “The Real Me,” “Ashes,” and “Falling,” talk of those experiences of despair and loneliness that we all feel sometimes, but that we don’t often talk about honestly. The album is about life lessons Clay has learned over the past five years, so while all these songs are honest, they are also full of faith and hope that human beings can learn to treat each other better and that we can grow through surviving the tough times. The effect of them is to create a sense of connection through an understanding that our feelings and experiences are shared by others and that we have a responsibility to our friends and family as well as those in need across the globe. Which isn’t to say that the album is only about message – it is just as musically gorgeous as you would expect a Clay Aiken album to be. Clay and his producers have chosen songs that are stylistically quite different and range from edgy to ballads and the production is lush and expressive. It goes without saying that Clay is a true vocal artist; he can and does create worlds with his voice. When he sings these songs, you know he means them and they are a joy to listen to. I have to admit that my favorite track from a song-writing perspective is “Lover All Alone,” co-written by Clay. Clay’s lyrics have an essential, poetic quality and I hope he’ll write more in the future.

Finally, music of his own. Clay really mixes it up on this album. His voice sounds better then ever!! It was definitely worth the wait.

I am so happy Clay has decided to grace us with his beautiful voice again! He has been through so many rough times these past few years but I never forgot you! I love this new album! Gratz on a wonderful job!!!! I will play this album over and over!!!

The Real Me is not an original by Clay. It was the original of Natalie Grant, and in my opinion she does it better!

Wonderful voice, Clay's best album. For those Adam lambert fans bashing Clay: there is no comparison between him and Clay as Adam admitted it himself. Clay is waaaay superior! Beautiful, extraordinary voice without the screeching that make one's ears hurt. He was absolutely right on his opinion of Adam, his personal opinion, but tons of people agree with Clay. I recommend this album to people who are not Clay's fans, Im sure after listening to this album you will become one.

I fell in love with Clay on American Idol, so I was with him from the start. I have evey CD and I listen to him a lot. But I when I found this CD in the isles of the music store, I was shocked. I listen to the radio when I'm in the car and when I get ready to go anywhere and they never said ANYTHING about a new Clay CD. And with exams in school, I hadn't been able to keep up with the music industry like I normally do. Clay's voice completely took me over. I love the songs on this CD. They are fresh and vary in different genres... christian to extremely romantic to heartbroken. I related well to the songs. Especially "The Real Me." As always, Clay is amazing... and leaves me Aiken for more of his voice

This is a nice variety of songs, my favorite is Something About Us...he brings a lot to this song. Treat yourself to this album.

I feel he put some thought into this work... it is spiritual, thought provoking. I'm on my way too.

This is the first Clay Aiken album I have ever purchased and I love the thoughtful lyrics and very harmonious melodies. I would recommend this album for anyone who likes softer pop type music.

Wow some of you on here are jerks and I can not not believe iTunes actually posted all of your guys' nasty comments! I know the comments are old but seriously? Who cares if he's gay or not? I don't and the music is great and that all that matters. I admit the album artwork is not the best but you buy the music for the music, not to stare at the artwork.

I haven't heard about Clay and didn't even know that a new album was out. I just read he came out and decided to check him out. This album is AWESOME! It is very inspirational and very personal. I like that he speaks from his experiences and feelings. THANK YOU CLAY! LOVE YOU!

There's a wide variety of styles and tempos but the most amazing part of this album is the VOICE!!! AWESOME! I never get tired of listening to this album.Love every single track but especially Ashes, You're Everything I Don't Need, and The Real Me.

This album is great but number 9, "As Long as Were Here", is F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!! Probably among Clay's top 3 songs of ALL TIME!!!! GO CLAY!

The thing that I enjoy so much about "On My Way Here" is that this is the most diverse album that Clay has done, sonically. From pop to r&b, county, rock, and jazz- there is something for everyone on this CD! Awesome!!!

There's a reason he didn't win American Idol. That is because he can't sing! He insulted ADAM LAMBERT, which, in my opinion is kinda ironic because listen to him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, his face is just scary. Adam will always be my favorite.

I have loved everything Clay has done from AI on, but this has got to be his best yet. I listened to clips of each song to see which ones to buy, but I had to buy all of them--they were all that good. I love the pure melodic sound of Clay's voice, and he just keeps getting better. I couldn't believe that none of the songs from this album were in the top 100 on itunes. I thought "On My Way Here" would be there for sure. There are 4-5 that should be there. I love this album. Wow!!! Okay, I have to say, I was doubtful about this cd. Although I've liked Clay for some time, I was never really a fan of his previous cds. But I decided to give this cd a try based upon the reviews I'd read and wow! I was absolutely blown away. Finally, finally, Clay comes out with a beautiful, haunting record that I will listen to every single day. Every song on here has something for everyone, and for your every mood. I love the variety of the songs on here and the range of his voice. My favorites on this cd, however, that really blew me away were Falling, Where I Draw the Line, and The Real Me. The rest of the songs I love, but those three songs really hit me emotion-wise. The Real Me is especially one that I can relate to so well. Well done, Clay. Thank you for coming out with such a masterful album that I can be proud to add to my collection of music!!!

My favorites are Ashes and Where I Draw The Line. These songs are why there is a repeat button. Talk about catchy tunes; I can't stop listening! And make sure you give equal time to On My Way Here, The Real Me and Lover All Alone because they are all standouts. This CD is a real treat, but of course I don't expect anyone to take my word for it, so go buy it and decide for yourself!

This album really makes me reflect on my life. I can relate to some of the songs. "As long as were here" makes me think of how fragile and short life really is.I see myself in the songs "ashes "and "Falling". I think this is clay's best cd yet.

Just When I thought that Clay's cover album couldn't be easily topped, He releases this and blows his previous album out of the water! Although one or two of the songs are Still Covers, They are really good! And there's nothing wrong with Covering Albums! If anyone remembers, ELVIS did it a lot, as did the Righteous Brothers, Barry Manilow and many other Notable Artists! If you Like Clay Aiken, even just a tiny bit you will like this album! So buy it, it's underpriced as it is, so what's holding you back?

I have been a fan of Clay's since AI2. I have all of Clay's cds and I knew this one would be good but it turned out to be AMAZING! I knew that Clay wouldn't disappoint and he didn't. All of the songs were so meaningful and I could relate to all of them and the lyrics were absolutely beautiful. Even if your not a Clay fan I would still buy this one. If you're only going to buy a couple of songs I would buy Ashes, Falling, Where I Draw the Line, and As Long as We're Here. Thank you Clay for the AMAZING cd and your AMAZING voice.

Great musicianship! Great lyrically and vocally - I would recommend this album to anyone... so much so that I hope all the musicans, and Kipper do his next album too! Everything I Don't Need, Falling, As Long As We're Here, and Lover All Alone are my top picks!

CLAY YOU ARE THE BEST...

I just finished listening to this whole album and just enjoyed the heck out of it. My wife is a big fan and so I thought I would prepare for her Birthday with this little trinket. I decided to listen myself and I couldn't keep my ears away from it. This is well worth the price. All songs are easy listening and each has a great message. If you like Clay then you can't go wrong. this guy is so anoying. i kind of liked him during a merican idol, but now hes just some gender confused thing that has some talent but is so desperate for a hit they come out with unoriginal crap. its pitiful.

Clay has finally come back! He sounds great, but some of the songs sound a little gloomy. Overall though, this album is worth the money.

Love this CD. He has matured over the last 5 yrs and this CD is his best yet. I love it. All the songs are winners though I have a few favorites. I love his range and sensitivity, artistry and choice of songs.

OMG the Glaimbert fans have found their way here too. What are they so worried about? Clay is his own man....go prop up your glamboy. I love this album because it showcases Clay's voice, tells of his struggles and is rather eclectic. The only song I don't like is Tedder's OMWH. Favs are Ashes, Falling, Everything I Don't Need, Where I Draw The Line, Something About Us, The Real Me and Lover All Alone.
