111 songs for the modest price of 10.99. This is the greatest collection of classical music I've come across. I highly recommend this album to all classical music lovers.

Some pieces sound better than others recording wise, but overall this is a high quality, well done album covering many of the classical music "classics."

- No more Composer Display Problem

Quite a few of the comments cite a problem with iTunes showing the composers who wrote the various pieces. I just bought the album and they are all nicely shown under the "Composer" category; so it would seem whatever problem is now gone. Otherwise a very good collection.

Some people are having trouble. That's because you probably don't have enough space to download 111 songs

- Good collection, bad quality

This is a great collection at a very good price but the recording quality is sub par. If you own a decent sound system or headphones you will notice a hiss or noise in the background which detracts heavily from the listening experience. It just doesn't sound clear.

I’m a classical music lover, and there are many songs in this collection that I love. The Beautiful Blue Danube, Estudutina Waltz, Bolero, and many more! Great price for over 11 hours of music!

I only got under half of the 111 songs and everytime I listen to a song, it crashes my Ipod touch. Hello??? And when I try to redownload, I need to pay 9.99 again? Please fix this!!!

I bought this album on my iPad and it works perfectly. However, it won't sync to my iPhone. Everything else I ever bought does sync but this won't. Any suggestions?

Let’s say you’re developing a playlist and don’t want to dish out lots of money for some excerpts, or want a particular, well sung opera favorite, consider this/these collection(s). Excellent sound and artistry. It may not be the finest recording available, but it’s solidly good, especially for the price.

I paid the value price of 9.99 because I wanted a small set of music that is in this collection -but... WOW - what a deal! SERIOUSLY ONLY 9 CENTS PER SONG! I have found a multitude of old classic favorites - and some that I hadn't known about in this collection; for example, preview #98 "3 Gymnopedies" and you will certainly want this on your device. It is tender and sweet, charming, relaxing, comforting. I am thoroughlly pleased with this collection and the price sure can't be beat for 111 songs. Even if you're not 'into' classical music, you will most definitely recognize a good 20-30 of these pieces from the very first few notes, and when you discover the rest you will enjoy them too. Get it, you won't regret it. I plan to turn a few of these into ringtones and background music for a photo montage.

I feel like I'm stealing it at this price. It's truly a great collection. Lots of all of my favorite pieces, and a good mixture between the full orchestral pieces and the solo pianist ones. And it's 10 dollars for over 100 songs.

- Sub-par singers and poorly conducted pieces

Don't buy this if you are a serious opera lover. Few of the pieces are worth listening to. It's a waste of money, even at 9 cents per song. The singers are sub-par and the arrangements are less than satisfactory thanks to poor conducting. The recordings lack richness and feeling. Just don't waste your money.

there are some comments complaining about the lack of composers, but if you go under your playlists and click classical music it shows you who wrote what song, i am very happy with this purchase though, good price and excellent music.

Symphony No 9 starts off in a very awkward place with the Choir going full tilt. Rather than building up to the “joy” it startles you into anxiety! Im going to use this for my alarm clock. That’s all its good for really. It’s a shame! Beethoven would be embarrassed.

- Great overview - but be warned!

I'm new to classical music so this is a great variety for me to start listening to, but be warned, you will not receive composer information with your download. iTunes will display the artist information but it will not show you the composer. I just got off of the phone with Apple thinking it was a technical problem but they told me that the album's record label has set it up this way. I'm not really sure why but all they could tell me was that they couldn't automatically include the composer information with the track downloads. Other than that its a great album.

This is a great starter collection! And the price is certainly right. For those who say you can't see the composer, I simply added 'Composer' to the list of headings in the music library and the information is displayed....

This album is incredible! The only thing I have, is that I think there is too much opera. I know that classical music is a part of opera, but around half the soundtrack is opera pieces. Other than this, it is great.
