- Real Music!!!! Finally

Love this album!!!! Groundation never disappoints. What a group of talented musicians.

- ****WARNING****

If you listen to this album a few times you will be hooked. I agree with the some of the reviews that at first it seems different from some of their other albums...but doesnt that make this album innovative? Listening to the same ole stuff gets old. This album brings more interesting vocals, tight bass lines, melodic keys, drum solos, and yes those awesome horns which collectively gives Groundation its one of a kind sound. If you've never seen them live...do it, do it. I highly reccommend this album. All the songs are good...Im really liking Time Came.

- very good

nice new twist, i enjoyed it

- Classic

Another great album by, in my opinion, one of the most underrated reggae groups out there! Begining to end, classic groundation jams....highly recommended!

- here i am

groundation fans get ready. this is groundation like you have never heard....

- Welcome to Art Reggae

I own lots of reggae, all of groundations stuff including a concert I bootleged and I can say that this album steps it up. Love the guest vocals from The Congos. Being a recording engineer, my opinion is that this is some top production work out there and I love the sound of it. "Organic" is the best way to put it. Don't look for a ton of dub style on this album, that's not what it's about. Me and my group of music lovers have rocked this albulm since the day it came it out. The top of today's reggae scene along with Rootz Underground and John Brown's Body.

- Those who don't like it haven't really listened to it

Groundation are true masters of original, thought provoking, reflection inducing music; can they do no wrong? Like some have said, at first the album did not catch me how I hoped....how I have come to expect from every Groundation album. But after a day of repeat, I feel in love again. Yes this album sounds like other Groundation albums, but don't you want that from a Groundation album?! When has any of their songs been boring? For Groundation, this album is relatively innovative, because they continue to add complexity to their sound. Best of all, the bass grooves are powerful and addictive.

- Here I Am

In my humble opinion, this is their best album since Hebron Gate. Not that I have not enjoyed the others, I have, but this really shows the creativity that I enjoy with this group.

- Not impressed or innovative at all

I am a huge Groundation fan...but, besides some added female vocals, this album left me unimpressed and actually a little dissapointed. I am not sure what I wanted from a new groundation album, but I definately didn't get it here. How about some innovation instead of more of the same? How about some pounding bass lines that penetrate the heart and soul? I feel like they have gotten complacent and introverted in their success and are not making music that I can relate to anymore.

- Groundation is Good

This album is like one for the fans - no really gripping songs on the order of "Silver Tongue Show" or "Weak Heart." I would have preferred a really good sounding live album to another collection of boring Groundation songs.

- We are Groundation

This is the best album in my humble opinion that Groudation has yet to produce. As far as innovation goes, I have yet to hear a band with this reggae talent and such a unique sound. This album even separates it self from the rest by including great guest singers, especially in "Time Come," as well as a tremendous horn solo. The bass lines engulf you in a vibrant trance of tone and range with a rhythm that put you into the music. Overall, this is an album with no end to its musical genius (on repeat). I highly recommend it.

- Weak.

I'm a Groundation fan. I loved Hebron Gate, Upon the Bridge, even Dragon Dub Wars. But this album is pretty bad. Terrible female vocals, and just overall, unoriginal. Step it up Groundation.

- another gem

For fans and first timers this album is classic. Groundation is producing the top reggae and Here I Am has made my day. Sit back, relax and open your mind with this...

- great

just like all of their albums GREAT

- Classic Groundation

The fact is that it is only Groundation who can fulfill this sound which has been evident consistently since Young Tree. Any fly by the night Roots fan speaking that this album hasn't lived up has missed it. The production, as always, is top notch, the bass lines penetrate the soul, Urani's keys drive the rhythm, the horns call Rastafari to the revolution like Rockford Rock, and Stafford's speaks deeply and honetly. The addition, once again, of the elders, the Congos and Pablo Moses, are a welcomed sound that vibe with Groundation and link the early sounds of Roots to the new era brought forth by the next generation. Any true Rootsman will find this album a welcomed addition to the trod. JAH Rastafari Reggae Music, ever-living!
