i wonder where they got the idea for there album cover...caugh caugh Hail to the thief, oh ya and the music isnt that good either. just take any alternative band out there, add god in there already outdated lyrics and thats third day.

I like the stuff on the album better than the stuff they play on the radio... Track 4 is the best!!!!

Here's the thing, when you listen to third day you have it in your mind it's a Christian band with good morals. It doesn't have to say christ's name in it, if you are listening to this you should know what it's about, common sense people. But now I see the point if a non believer listened to this , they would be confused on what it is about. THATS WHERE WE COME IN ! We tell them the true meaning of it, them we are also witnessing. Great album no matter what anyone says

The melodies are beautiful - the sound is strong and true to their Southern roots - and this album firmly carries you to that high place where you can close your eyes and feel the Spirit speaking to you through this music. You'll be glad you got this album.

This is a great album. For me the songs have a great message in their lyrics. They are ment to be a direct praise to God, our Lord and savior, that is why this is no mention of his name. You don't have to by this album, but if it is becuase you have a problem with the lyrics, you are missing the point.

This is my all time favorite album. Third Day is my favorite band, and has been for most of my life. Hope to hear much more amazing things from them in the future. Mac's voice is just breath taking. I'll never see how people can't LOVE Third Day

As a long-time Third Day fan, this is easily their best work. Those who complain that the words Jesus, God or Christ are not in any of the songs have missed the point ENTIRELY. I didn't know bands now have to spoon-feed their message to their listeners. God is present in each of these songs through and through. Take the lyrics of "Born Again," for example: "I was lost when You found me there/I was broken beyond repair/Then You came along/And You sang a song over me." Who else is Mac singing about?? If you can't find Him in this album, you're doing it wrong. To clear up a few things: The female singer in "Born Again" is Lacey Moseley, not Lacey Whatever-that-one-review-said-her-last-name-was, but she is the frontwoman for Flyleaf. The background vocals on "Slow Down" is Chris Daughtry. The cover art was inspired by Salvation Mountain, a large art installation by Leonard Knight located in Niland, CA. It was NOT ripped off from another band, as someone else wrongly assumed. I suggest some of you do your research before badmouthing an album you probably didn't even listen to. "Revelation" is a great album with not a bad song on it. Many of these songs can be enjoyed on a secular level as well as religious. It's a must-have for any fan of the Christian Rock genre.

I've been listening to Third Day since '98, and every album gets better and better, the record is no exception. They use their talents to glorify God, what more can you ask for out of any band? May they continue to sing amazing, heart touching, life changing songs.

I was once so in to Third Day at one point in my life, I was crushed when Brad Avery left, since then Third Day has never been the same to me, but I was still excited to get this album when it came out. I remember when I first got this album back in 08, I was so excited to get it after a camp I was at the time. When I listened to it the first time I was quite disappointed and I only liked less than half of the songs. The song that really got to me was "Take it All" that song brought me to tears one time. Anyways I never really gave this album a chance, time has passed and I got it out of the "crap cd" pile that I have and tried it out again and I like it this time, I get the songs now. When I first got it I was like most here kinda questionable about the lyrics, but now I realize that this is just good music from good people. Would you rather give your friend a copy of some real secular nasty artists or a neutral album from some great guys from Third Day? Third Day has been in this for a long time and just imagine if they did the same album again and again and again...no right? that would be terrible. Plus just a little info, the song "I will always be true" was written by Mac Powell to his wife, and it just so happens that they decided to put it in the album, that song is one of my favorites on this. This album is kinda relative to "Wire" although I responded better to that album because it only had like four songs that didn't appeal to me at first listen. So just give this album a chance, you'll probably like it! My favorite songs from this album: -Take it All -I Will Always Be True -Ready -Caught Up In Yourself -Call My Name -Give Love

If u people don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all. But I have something to say. All of Third Days songs are... Awesome! They have changed my life! ( in a good way) I fell in love with he band last summer when my dad put them on in the truck. And if u take one look at me and my family you would never think we listen to Christian Rock music, but we do specifically Third Day!! I hope they come to the California Mid-state fair sometime !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Revelation is my favorite Third Day song ever. But so much of what they do is so inspired by the Spirit of God. Blessings to them and to all that listen.

what you're saying is true, and thats good, but that's just not how a new believer feels all the time, sometimes we doubt.

I've just recently gotten into this band as I don't usually listen to christian music even though I am a christian. I mean lets be honest its not very good 90% of the time. But here you have a Band that goes the distance and shines through with good song writing, good execution, and solid lyrics. If your a christian these songs will mean more to you than if not, but even still they are rocking tracks that really remind me of Pearl Jam's glory days, with a southern spin. Overall a very good setlist...even if the Album cover is kinda a dead ringer for Radiohead's Hail to the thief haha

Please, I am not a Third Day fan, at all but if you can't see the Christian message, then you need (metaphorical) glasses! go pick apart someone elses music like Paramore, or Demon Hunter etc. those guys have the iffy stuff not Third Day.

This is definatly my favorite album from Third Day, I listen to it all the time. It is a great album to praise Jesus with.

Third Day has really brought themselves through. Even though they are not my fav band, I believe they are in the top ten christian artists out there. I have listened to them for so long and have loved all of their songs. Third Day is really trying hard to be great and they are doing a great job at it. They are shining for God and one of my favorite songs is "Call My Name". Others are "Come Together" and "Cry Out to Jesus". KEEP IT UP THIRD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

In case anyone was wondering; the female vocals on "Run To You" and "Born Again" are done by the lead singer of the band Flyleaf, Lacey Sturm.

Third Day is blessed with the Spirit of God in their music. It brings calmness, happiness, & the peace of God through their music. I am blessed to have stumbled a-crossed it with my “Alexa”! I hope to see them live in concert! God bless them with more of this fantastic music!

I am addicted to this band! I listen to it everyday to school, and I have about every album! I love every song they play! I saw them in concert and I cried, (Really!) They are such an inspiration to me and my family. God has truly put his hand on this band.

This is Third Day's most polished effort to date. I saw them live twice last year during the Revelation tour. It was 2 very different shows, but both were fantastic. Catch this bunch live it at all possible.

Whether Third Day is trying to hit the mainstream or not....the message in their songs is undeniable. It's all about Love. Mac Powell's rich voice literally fills me up. They are an AWESOME band. Who couldn't love them.

This album is excellent! The musicianship is outstanding and then throw in the lyrics/message?! Simply fantastic.

What an encouraging song, I had to buy it. I know many can identify with it's lyrics and it is a great reminder to those who have been born again for a while, for the reminder of that amazing time in our life and to continue to live that out!

The most important thing is LOVE, and I believe Third Day's songs promote love. Its all good, but to leave no doubt,The name of Jesus shoud be mentioned. As a follower of our lord Jesus thats what I believe. But its all good,could be better.God is Love.

Great album! Born again is one of my favorite songs.

This is Third Day's best album yet! Tracks 2,3,4,6,11, and 13 are my favorites. They're an awesome band and keep getting better! I'm looking forward to their new album "Move", and I hope it will be Third Day's best album yet!

I had never heard of Third Day before this CD. I absolutely love this album. It certainly doesn't hurt having Chris Daughtry and Lacey from Flyleaf (two musicians I love) on the album. Third Day may not explicitly say God, Jesus, etc. but the message through their music is noticeably religious.

I listened to just the begining of born again. And I had tears in my eyes. I bought cd for my daughter. And album for my iPhone. Praise God!!!!
