I have to say that I'm quite disappointed with this. The renditions of these songs are horrible. Of course the songs are great, so a bad rendition of a great song turns out to be OK, but I just do not like them when I can listen to 2 or 3 other versions of these same songs that are so much better. Drops of Jupiter has to be the worst and Marry Me is probably the best of the bunch (by a large margin). I'd recommend grabbing a different acoustic version of these songs.

Love piece of of my heart and Pat sings it great! The other songs are good, alternatives to the orginal but honestly I like the original's best! Extended versions are good. You guys are sooooo good. I have become a bigger fan of Train since seeing them live in concert recently on their Save Me, San Francisco tour. This only exemplifies their acoustic and vocal abilities that they display Live. See them in concert if you have a chance, it'll be worth every penny.

This was a nice suprise. I love their rendition of PIECE OF MY HEART. EXCELLENT! I saw TRAIN in VEGAS last year for work and was totally blown away at their show. Pat is from ERIE/FAIRVIEW, where I live and am proud that PAT and TRAIN are doing so well. Hey Pat, I live 3 houses down from ABE, ANN & MIKE. If you are ever back in ERIE, I would love it if you could stop over and sign my guitar hanging in my basement!! Anything from TRAIN is just a gift! When anything something new from TRAIN comes out it's like CHRISTMAS MORNING and we run to unwrap the gift! There just isn't a band out there that continues to create unique, timeless, meaningful, fun, inspiring, moving music like TRAIN does! Keep it coming guys!!!!!!!

I liked train from the time drops of jupiter came out and i have to admit that I like the new songs but they are way to high for him to sing. He always sounds like he is straining for the high notes and it is so much more audible in the live version and it makes him go out of tune. All they would have to do is move it down a few keys and it would be real nice.

While its not absouletely perfect, Train makes anything they sound good. Hey Soul Sister was cool to here with just him and the uke. The best track on here is the If It's Love. The acoustic parts are just amazing. Also Drops of Jupiter was pretty good too. Overall a good buy.

Anything from this band is worth buying. A great mixture from old and new. Just makes you like each of these six songs even more in their new format. Keep on rollin' boys!

It's missing "all american girl" and "ordinary"...quite possibly the only good songs by train. "Hey, Soul Sister" is one of the most annoying songs ever written.

This is a wonderful set of songs that train has created! What I like most about them is that they don't just sound like the recorded version of the tracks, or an acoustic version. Train actually changes it up a bit, and gives some of their most popular hits and fan favorites a different sound. Love the simple music that is paired with "Marry Me." Its not a super complex change, but it gives the song and entirely different feeling. Plus, WOW, I wasn't expecting the cover of Piece of My Heart. It's a fun listen. So kudos to Train for changing things up! They deserve the acclaim that they don't always seems to get.

For a moment I thought, this is Train I'm listening to? I believe they are better than ever. My favorite live is Hey, Soul Sister. It has such a great feel to it live. Marry Me could have been better, but overall, nice job!

Anything Train is wonderful, no matter what they seem to put out, it keeps me singing everytime. I loved that they covered the most popular tracks on "Save Me, San Francisco". Of course, what's Train without some Drops of Jupiter? I especially like the extra something of "Piece of my Heart". I always enjoy the iTunes Sessions that artists put out, it gives me the unplugged feeling that we don't hear often. I recommend this download! Pat's vocals are, as usual, outstanding. He shows it over and over again in each track!

How do I get my money back?!? Ya the titles are the same but these are not the songs I know in my head!! Drops of Jupiter is garbage.

Some of these Sessions versions are OK, but the live sound in this case is a bit hollow - I prefer the original versions, but that's just me.

as much as i love train, i am not very fond of this new album. drops of jupiter is much better the original way and same with hey soul sister. if i were you, i would get the original version

We've been riding the Train for almost 20 years and I think this is the Best Ever. Their cover of "Piece of My Heart" was as if Janis' raspy voice was some how transformed. It was pure amazement. Loved It! Thank You!!

I absolutely LOVE train, but I wish that they didn't mess with the perfection of Drops of Jupiter, and left it the way it was. However, this album is still very good, because nothing by train can ever be all that bad.

They're the worst!

They don't sound like sh!t live, indicating talent, which makes me give them 4 stars, even if I hate pop.

I can't believe this group is still around. Not only do they have lame songs, but the lead singer has no charisma. And they got an award? Really? What a joke. Everytime one of their songs comes on the radio, I rush to change the station. Anything else besides Train. They are a bad train wreck that doesn't go away.

Train always does an amazing job. Drops of Jupiter on this collection is unbelievably the best I've ever heard them. A must see live in concert and this album is a must own...the whole thing is just amazing.

… dressing in comfortable kakis, occasionally ride your cheap mountain bike and watched all the seasons of Desperate Housewives with your Girlfriend. If you enjoy the mundane and can only talk about the gym, your clothes and get uptight standing or sitting next to someone who smokes. Then this band is for you. Seriously, I wouldn't be caught dead listening to this stuff.
