I love the songs, but I have to point out one of the best things about this album: Pino Palladino's bass lines! His style is so unique and distinctive. You can hear him on many other recordings from the time, including Phil Collins' "But seriously". If in not mistaken he plays a fretless bass and uses an octave splitter, among other effects.
