Been a fan of Jason's for a while, and this album does not disappoint. Love his use of piano and guitar; as always simplicity is key for Jason (in a good way). Lots of positive feel good music here. My Fav tracks include: Freedome Song, Living in the Moment, Frank D Fixer, and The World as I See It

Je ne connaissais Jason Mraz que par I'm yours. J'ai hésité longtemps avant d'acheter cet album. Je n'ai mis que très peu de temps avant de l'apprécier et maintenant j'ai toujours l'une ou l'autre des chansons en tête. Cet album est joyeux et respire le bonheur et évidemment, l'amour. Je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat, et maintenant j'essaie de voir si un autre album de Jason Mraz pourrait m'apporter autant de de gaieté...

I've been a fan of Jason Mraz since his debut "Waiting For My Rocket To Come"; though it was more the singles that appealed to me on that release, the full album was just "okay" to me. His follow-up release, "Mr. A-Z" was absolutely perfect - it's not only my favourite Jason Mraz album, but one of my favourite albums from any artist (it's not at the top of the list, but definitely up there in my top 20). His third album had a few good tracks on it; but failed to live up to "Mr. A-Z" standards - however, for Jason, I do believe it was his most commercially successful album up until that point. This leads us to "Love is a Four Letter Word". Jason has made it clear that this album was a collection of songs about Love. Here's the problem; not one song is good. He's had much better love songs on past albums. I've tried listening to this album a few times now since buying it in April, and I can barely get through most songs. They just sound ridiculous; lyrically and musically. Curiously, his comments on Twitter/Facebook seem to imply he's been smoking a little too much Marijuana lately - maybe there's a connection between his increased drug used and the terrible quality of this album. At any rate, fans and casual listeners beware - this album is not good. If there's a song that stands out for you personally; I'd suggest just buying the individual track.

All of his songs weren't very new and creative, as I've come to expect from Mraz albums. I was expecting more fast pace songs like you fckn did it, or thr dynamo of volition. Other than that, great album!

My purchase is a donation because I link Jason, however this album falls way short of his creative capabilities. Living in the moment even uses the same chord progression as "I'm Yours" I mean come on, sing "I'm yours" as you listen to Living in the Moment. Only the Chorus has changed. I have good tickets to his concert in Toronto in September, I can only hope that he performs some of his older stuff because if it's all this new album, I might just be leaving early. Very disappointed, but still supporting this amazing artist.

I love this new album, although I'm asking myself.. is where has the old Jason Mraz gone. I miss beats in the likes of Geek in the Pink, I'm Yours, Wordplay, etc. Nevertheless, this is a great album! I wish I had seen the Deluxe one before buying this one though.. Because it has a few live songs that are really good!

Love this album. Such a fresh voice, great lyrics and a real positive vibe. Love that I can discover artists through iTunes that I wasn't familiar with before. Jason is one terrific talent!

Jason Mraz is one if the great love song writers of out generation. I could listen to freedom song over and over. And honestly is amazing. I have listened several times thought and have enjoyed every moment.

I bought this expecting more of the sophisticated song making from the previous albums. Frankly, incredibly disappointed. The album seems to be an exercise in telling the listener how in touch Mraz has become with himself. What seems to be aiming for story telling quickly becomes an exercise in self indulgence, and not the hedonistic indulgence present in previous albums that I found so refreshing. A little more angst needed for my taste.

Jason is in touch with reality and shares that view by what he experiences in his life. Easy listening music with great lyrics. Love your voice Jason and hope to see you in Australia!

An absolutely incredible album! Worth every cent. Over the last 10 years or so, Mraz has never failed to impress!

Great album, but i didn't like it as much as 'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things'. Still has some great songs on it, such as '93 Million Miles', 'The Freedom Song', and 'Be Honest' has a wonderful vibe and rhythm to it. This is not your usual pop album - Mraz's songs are all very well thought out and meaningful. Well worth buying!

My mum introduced me to him, and I love it! It's a really great feel good album, my favourite is still 'I'm Yours' though. QUALITY.

Although its a little cheesy at times I can't help but enjoy this record. Its the sort of album that sounds great when the sun is shining. The lyrics seem honest and plenty of sweet melodies, all very nice. Super talented guy for sure.

Big Mraz fan, but tracks 1-4 are awful, no.1 is a poor cover, no.2 sounds like a Kenny Rogers track, but the rest are good songs, bonus track is a tune, maybe past his best now sadly, abit disappointed :-(

There isn't one track on here I can fault. It's such joyful, heart warming and meaningful music and honestly the best album I've bought in years. Been a huge fan of Mraz for many years, and although this album seems a step away from his quirky nature and his creative wordplay, it is still brilliant. It oozes with positivity, and I cannot find another album that fits so well with a summer day.

This album is light and airy uplifting listening but with lots of depth. Suitable for singles and couples. I keep playing it as there is so much meaning in every song. The acoustics just make you want to dance - fabulous!!

But I finally get it. And live it. Beautiful.

The sun is shining, the windows are down, Mraz is playing. Sounds like summer is here. Yet another great album, just a shame I can't 'gift' albums like I can apps.

This is great as expected. Every track is remarkable. It's hard to choose a favorite one. If you like "beautiful mess", you'll love "the woman I love". There's this "you fckn did it" from the deluxe version, if you want to rap. Enjoy a cup of coffee with the bossa nova like sound of "be honest". There are also some funny dialogues from the live tracks in the deluxe version that make me smile everytime.. You'll surely find a song for you in this album even if you're not a big Mraz fan. There!

Love, love, love this album!!! Jason Mraz is one of most profound songwriters out there. His songs have the perfect words for everything I'm feeling right now. Very uplifting!
